Politics › If Nigeria Won't Honour Biafra's Dead, Why Aren't The S/eastern Governors? by doyin13(op): 11:42am On Jun 20, 2008
Is there like some kind of pact/conspiracy of silence
over the war?

I really don't get it.

You gotta be kiddin me! If this team can maintain the same hunger winning it again next year is a possibility besides getting Ray Allen and K.G they also got some good free agents to complete that team.Transition from the worst team to the East to NBA champions in one season is just revolutionary[/quote]No mind me jare. I was just trying to pull Jesoul's legs.

Honestly, I was pleased KG, Allen and Pierce finally won a ring.

And this series showed why Lebron is a better player than Kobe at this point in time.

Kobe's footwork is legendary and prolly the best around the NBA, but Lebron is unstoppably athletic.
He can pass better out of the double and triple teams, and he is not so prone to so many bad shots.

Dare I say it, if Lebron had Kobe's supporting cast, Cavs would have beat the Celts.
Sports › Re: Nba Playoffs 08-predictions by doyin13(m): 8:36am On Jun 19, 2008
This team has one and done written all over it.

I liked last season's Celts a whole lot better.
could have gone on some Bill Russell title accumulating
run. younger, faster and battle hardened after a tough season.

They were gritty, resolute in the face of a thankless task.
never mind what their record said.

Lets hear it for the 06-07 Celts y'all

Don't tell anyone but I was secretly hoping the C's lose game 5 and win #6 at home as it would be much sweeter in front of the home crowd, and I was right! I don't feel sorry for the beatdown at all. . .if anyone deserved such humiliation it was the Lakers and most of their obnoxious fans who were already celebrating even before the series started. Gasol is soft, Odom is inconsistent, n the laker bench was MIA, if they hope to be back next yr then they need to improve the reserve n get an inside presence. Perhaps Bynum will solve that problem.
Anyways I hope the Celtics bring back the entire roster although I'll live with a few cuts like Cassell

This was 22yrs in the making n best believe Boston is going to relish this moment cheesy Congrats to all the Celtics Fans in the House!
yes oo. Look at them. They have come out.

Shameless Exhibitionists.

Humility is a quality, rare nowadays, especially in the NEW ENGLAND AREA.

Na wa for Nigerians.

And most of you here are Southerners. We are our own worst enemies.
That is why the Progressives in the South will continue to be trammeled by the backward North.

The only thing I can fault Obasanjo for was nepotism, a common trait in the African mindset.
Only a biased Yam Head would believe that Obasanjo has 16 billion dollars stashed away somewhere.
The day that is proven, is the day I will give up my citizenship. I will wait for the Power probe's report
and then hopefully all will be revealed.

Obj's head is up his ass, yes, he and some of his cronies benefited from some choice contracts, yes,
but a naked eyed thief, he is not, and I am still waiting for someone to prove otherwise

Abacha blatantly stole money from the Treasury. He had a standing order with the Central Bank. shocked shocked shocked

How blatantly dishonest can you get. How wicked, how devillish.

So all that money that has been traced came from where? Jeez, people, this is the worst kind of revisionism.
The most irritating and false kind.

I will understand this kind of ignorance from those who grew up only the past few years, but many of you here
are old enough to know better.

Honestly, I give up. Walahi Talahi, I give up.

You guys better not sleep on the knicks with D'antoni's arrival in the Big Apple.

I know peeps are saying the team is illsuited to D'antoni's run and gun style
but I beg to differ.

The likes of Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawford, Ronald Belkman can operate in that style of offence,
although errrrrrrrrrr Randolph and Curry might need to hit the race track for some fat loss sessions
