There is nothing wrong in collecting tithe for the poor and needy, plus church maintenance.

But there is everything wrong with pastors looting tithe for financial upliftment.

Many rogue pastors set up churches to loot tithe undecided

There is nothing wrong in paying tithe but there is everything wrong with looting of tithe by pastors. Most of them are rouges that set up churches to loot tithes that are best given to the poor and needy plus church maintenance.

This is the digital age and calls for younger presidents at helm. Aren't these old men tired of making a fool of themselves at international conferences? When nations are talking about stopping cyber crimes, the blockchain, global warming and alternative energy, what can these old dummies contribute? Can you imagine the likes of OBJ, Buhari, Lamido sounding intelligent when delivering speeches? This is bad. We need a qualified 30 something or 40 something year old in power.

Another dunce statement.

Read the letter carefully!

She expressed worries on October 11 and was informesd of maina's reinstatement ,5 days after,october16,2017..

Which means as at the time of the verbal expression of worries, neither PMB nor The head of service were aware that Maina had resumed!

By the way can dunces like you appreciate the legal intricasies and documentation involved in this case?

Even Jonathan fired people for corruption including maina that your god re-employed, so it is no big deal.
And to make it worse, GEJ can plead plausible deniability to corruption cases in his govt, but buhari cannot atleast according to revelations from his govt.

This letter is the response to PMB's query, written in October,2017.

Politics › Maina: Why Ex-pension Boss, Was Recalled, Promoted – Group by Doyin2(op): 12:59pm On Oct 23, 2017
Fellow Nigerians,I stand with Buhari on this:The judiciary is indeed a clog in the fight against corruption.

I give up!

A league of civil society groups has explained why the former Pension Reform Task Team boss, Dr Abdulrasheed Maina, was recalled into the civil service, saying a “perpetual injunction restraining his arrest still stands even after the judge had ruled that status-quo be maintained in his case.

In a statement signed in Abuja on Saturday, by the organisation’s National Secretary, Amb. Mukhtar Akoshile, said that since the judgement was given the pronouncement was neither appealed nor upturned by a superior court.

While describing the report as “absolute falsehood, misleading, unfounded and deliberate attempt to cast aspersion on the integrity of Dr Abdulrasheed Maina” the group noted that urged the general public to disregard and discountenance the publication.

“For avoidance of doubt, it is on record that Dr. Abdulrasheed Maina was absolved of any wrong doing while he headed the Pension Reform Task Team. You’ll recall that on Wednesday, March, 27, 2013. a Federal High Court headed by Justice Adamu Bello (Rtd) granted a perpetual injunction restraining his arrest. The court also set aside an earlier warrant of arrest issued on him.

According to Justice Adamu Bello, who delivered the judgment in the enforcement of Fundamental Human Right suit instituted by Maina, the verdict is pegged on the ground that the Senate did not follow due process in issuing the warrant of arrest. The judge also noted that the Senate failed to annex all necessary documents to aid the dismissal of Maina’s request before the court.

“It is pertinent to disabuse the minds of the public who must have read the story that also quoted an imaginary EFCC source who claimed that Dr. Abdulrasheed Maina is still on their ‘wanted list’. This allegation is entirely untrue and incorrect. The perpetual injunction restraining his arrest still stands even after the judge had ruled that status-quo be maintained in his case. This pronouncement was neither appealed nor upturned by a superior court. Are these not enough reasons to justify his reinstatement back to the civil service?.

“You’ll also recall that Senator Kabiru Gaya, A deputy Chairman of the Senate’s 7th Assembly on Establishment now Chairman, Senate Committee on Works recanted their witch hunt against Dr Maina and came out with this revelation. According to him, “during the 7th Senate, we were able to do a probe of the pension scam. I was a co-chair of that committee. During that investigation, we were able to discover N195 billion stocked in accounts of various Departments, Agencies and Ministries (MDAs) for pension and they were not using those monies. These are kinds of money that form part of the TSA.

“Maina was ordered to be reinstated into his rightful position as a a Federal Director (even though some of his mates are now permanent secretaries) and so the government President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR obeyed the erudite pronouncement of the judiciary. Maina was reinstated as a Director in the civil service of the federation.

“Nigeria has gone beyond the era of propaganda, personal hatred, lack of investigative journalism and bidding of pension looters game.”

So in conclusion the 26billion dollar issue has just been officially closed.
This country is a big joke. So know investigation whatsoever as to how the due process was followed?
So because the vice has said he approved and the matter has been proved of no wrong doing.
I just dont know how unfortunate i am living in this country. God i am tired and cant wait to leave Nigeria to iceland
Your ignorance is the source of your frustration.

Learn to read and not be told about what the law says.

The NNPC and Public procurement Acts of parliament, are available every where!

I do not need Falana to know that no legal due process was breached.

That the law needs a review, cannot be the fault of Baru or Kachikwu.
