This is the crux of the matter!

Fayose, the suspected criminal is playing sentimental games against plausible arrest and prosecution, such that very gullible mumus would cite victimization as a result of his presidential ambition.
Politics › Re: 2019: Forces Against Atiku by Doyin2(m): 9:50pm On Sep 24, 2017
''So, Atiku would be faced with the challenge of convincing the power brokers in the South that he would serve for a single term in office and quit in 2023.

And even if he gives them his assurance, they are likely to take it with a pinch of salt, because history has proven that every sitting president the world over, except in rare cases, always seek a second term in office. So, even though most of the ruling elites in the South are on the same page with Atiku on the issue of restructuring, they may not queue behind him in 2019 if Buhari is running. The fear that an Atiku presidency might stretch till 2027 would be a factor to reckon with in the South come 2019.''

Now this is very instructive.

Even me,for peace and unity, would vote for an Igbo president come 2023.

Until then, Buhari is it!

U are right, I hope we get there... But let me ask, with those corrupt leaders from PDP who are now in APC do U think the treasury is still safe? What about the promise our President promised us, like feeding school children and electricity do you think it will become a reality under this government? With the current fuel price, don't you think we are moving backward rather than forward? What do U think Buhari is already doing that will move the country forward? If he wants to run for 2019 what do U think will be the campaign promise?
Nice stuff.

In risk management theory,it is well understood that you can not totally eliminate risk, you can only reduce it to the bearest minimum.

The risk of treasury looting is still there, but with the caliber of PMB/PYO,be rest assured that it would be minimized.

As for the campaign promises, well let's wait till year 4.

But I personally,in view of the unforeseen and unavoidable realities ,worsened by the oil price crash,I would love to compare 8-year APC govt with a 16 year PDP govt.

In 2019,Buhari does not need to make campaign promises, all he needs to do, is to genuinely beg Nigerians for more time,to fix Nigeria.

I believe most Nigerians appreciate his integrity and sincerity of purpose.

can we just stop beating around the bush like drunk ijere masquerade and let's face the reality , Buhari is a total failure ,infact failure is his first name, Buhari was a 'monumental failure
Buhari-led government was the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria and the most nepotistic that has ever been since independence.it would be a shame for Buhari to run for second term when he has not offered solution to the myriads of problems facing the country. Buhari would be abandoned by the people in 2019.I may ask Zombies and their paid slaves from waste region what are Buhari’s developmental strides as Nigerian Head of State and as civilian president huh Their answer is as good as mine, NONE for his whole time in office. Buhari and his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had failed Nigerians and should be booted out without delay.things had gone from bad to worse under the current government led by Buhari. If PDP was incompetent, APC is even worse. In the case of PDP government,it was just incompetence and you can negotiate with incompetents.”
But in the case of the APC, it is fascism and you know that you have no stand with a fascist who clear the obstacle by enemies. This is what we are experiencing now. We have replaced incompetence with fascism,” he quipped. TUFIAKWA
Stupidity is when you compare a 2- year APC govt with a 16 -year PDP govt.

You can fabricate and vomit whatever nonsense about Buhari and corruption. But clowns like you had refused to accept the fact that campaign period is over, untill 2019.

Authentic International and local records attest to the fact that Buhari remains one of the most upright and incorruptible leaders in Africa to date.

How Buhari dealt with wailers this week

In this week alone

*Buhari orders payment of N290bn civil servants' outstanding salaries/allowances accumulated since 2007!

*Buhari reaches back to 2003 to pay #45bn for former staff of Nigeria Airways of gratuities and other retirement benefits.

*Power generation hits 7001.

*PMB got 200 armoured fighting vehicle from Jordan to tighten Nigeria Security.

*ASUU, NASU, SSANU, ULC & Resident Dr hav SUSPENDED STRIKE

Now hear the comments of the world about him .

*Ban Ki-moon to Buhari: "You are highly respected by world leaders, including myself. Your person has given your country a positive image.

*CNN described BUHARI as the Africa President.

*How I wish African leaders are like you"~Donald Trump.

*PMB is the number 10 most talked about world leader in the just concluded UNGA in New York

What a bad week for wailers and their leaders .
Great!

Ango Abdullahi was a special adviser to Obasanjo's PDP government,so I do not expect anything better from him.And since he was so careless not to point out any specific areas of failure, then he is better ignored.

With PMB/PYO,our treasury is safe.

The road to economic development would be very long, rough and muddy, but we shall get to the promise land.

* Meaning of Army: A large body of persons trained and armed for war.

Globally accepted definition of an Army:

An organized military force ,equipped for fighting on land.

Army don't just fight wars ,they can also fight other criminals like armed robbers, kidnappers, terrorists, etc, as a compliment or supplement to the police.

The Navy and air force also fight wars.

But if Kidnappers or robbers escape through the waters, the Navy can be called upon to deal with them,as a compliment to the police.

The navy, airforce and army, can also be stationed on waters, air, land, respectively, to prevent armed robbers and kidnappers from operating, not only when there is war!

The reason is simple.

We do not recognise Afenifere /Odumakin as the real yoruba leaders.Their utterances carry very light weight!

The army had been ''dancing'' in the south west ,even before odumakin was born grin

The Niger Delta militants/terrorists had been curtailed in Ikorodu, largely because of the military ''dances'' .So many other instances.

In sane countries, the army is highly respected,no matter their short comings.

I expect only fools to take Odumakin serious.

Different strokes for different folks.
IPOB is declared a terrorist grp, while internationally recognised terrorist groups like herdsmen are being insured by the government.
Yet, they talk of one Nigeria
A zoo is better than this contraption because even in the zoo, animals' rights are protected and there is justice.
Which rights?

Rights to hate speeches?Rights to kill a security officer? or to declare no election in a sovereign state?Rights to burn a mosque and search for hausa/fulanis, in a bus?

You must be a clown!

The case of herdsmen is very pathetic.

Despite the terrorist acts of the so tagged herdsmen,it is not possible and would be insane, to declare herdsmen a terrorist group. This is commonsense!

Herdsmen is just a nomenclature for persons involved in livestock/cattle rearing.

The essence of declaring a group terrorist is such that it becomes illegal to be a member and applicable laws plus force can be effected.

Declaring herdsmen a terrorist group means it would become proscribed and illegal to be a herdsman!!!!!!!

Does that not sound insane?

The best the government can do, is to deal ruthlessly, with any herdsman involved in terrorist act.

Declaring IPOb a terrorist group, rightly or wrongly means it becomes illegal to be a member,it does not in any way illegalise lawful agitations and procedures.

Your rights to association, sessasion and freedom of expression must be excercised in accordance with the law,not stupidly or foolishly.
Politics › It Is Nonsensical To Declare ''Fulani Herdsmen'', A Terrorist Group! by Doyin2(op): 1:01pm On Sep 17, 2017
The bandwagon effect in Nigeria is very contagious and dogmatic. Many people follow the wave and tide, without applying common sense!

The call for the declaration of ''Fulani Herdsmen'' a terrorist ''group'',is not only stupid but also nonsensical. No serious government will do that any way.

Yes,some people tagged ''Fulani Herdsmen'' have been killing and terrorising innocent citizens across the country,a very clear case of Terrorism.

But unlike Boko Haram, how can you declare ''Fulani Herdsmen'' a terrorist group?

Fulani Herdsmen is just a nomenclature to describe any fulani man engaged in the business of cattle rearing and the likes. It is not a group or association with objective to pursue any political or social emancipation, other than farming.

Whilst any body that joins Boko Haram, will be called a terrorist and arrested, but will you call and arrest a fulani man that decides to be a cattle farmer and thus a ''Fulani Herdsman'',a terrorist, after the declaration?

It would have been more appropriate to declare Arewa or Fulani Youth Forum(for the sake of argument),a Terrorist group, than to declare ''Fulani Herdsmen '' a terrorist group.

I just hope people will apply common sense and stop making stupid and nonsensical requests to declare ''Fulani Herdsmen'' a terrorist group. The best the government can do, is to ensure that any fulani herdsman engaged in terrrorism and senseless killings, is seriously dealt with and brought to justice,or appropriate measures are put in place to prevent future attacks.
