Don't forget people are getting married with no verifiable source of income and they are not even on any government stipends for being a jobless citizen.
Perhaps it can be instituted by different states maybe, or how do you want to explain how this kinda laws will uphold in a state like Sokoto, Taraba or Zamfara

You can cheat on your wife while still in marriage and your wife can do absolute nothing except filing for divorce that might not even pay her in the long run
