A lady once told me I am the first guy she visited who never attempted to lure her into sex. |
emezuo17:Always do well to understand people's comment before quoting them.. I'm not pro buhari.. But why single out buhari for blame when the whole issue started from Jonathan. Why not blame both of them. The truth is that nairalanders are too partisan and it beclouds their judgments |
rummmy:I believe u don't understand what I was driving at. |
GamalNasser:but this whole thing started during Jonathan's government |
I wonder what will be going through the minds of these whites towards Africa... Nobody ever mentions Africa when it comes to military power... We are not just doing anything... We are just existing for the sake of existing... And we will surely be ordered around by the whites because a threat of war if we fail to do their biddings is enough to tear us apart |
Flier:Then they will still go to the traffic or roadside to chase them away... Why not give 80 people 500k and monitor them or 40 people 1M each... Those will end up employing more people, have more dependants and the biz not crash easily... |
hisexcellency34:Is it not simple? It marks a new beginning. If it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work for people... My first resolution was many years back when I was seeking admission. I was very resolute to getting admitted that year after I wasn't granted my course of choice after my first JAMB. I set January 2 for serious studying. I had all the fun I could in the preceding December and I resumed reading on the 2nd as proposed... Trust me, the admission came so easily. After then, I have tried it many other times which have worked. I will be writing some international exams next year and I gave January 2 as official start up date. Speedy and well defined studying pattern. I turned down a better job offer which would have my salary doubled, but my current job gives me ample time to study and the new one wouldn't. If I have not had that strong resolution against next year, I would have picked the job.. That's the resolution working already. So anything with a new beginning makes it easy to aim for something new.. Also I had plans to set up certain things once I get married (which is a new beginning) and I'm strongly working towards it... It is so difficult to wake up one morning and say I want to do this, then achieve it. I once woke up one morning and it was the ending of January, and I said to myself, I want to leave my father's house... Without previous thoughts about it and I was comfortable in the house. I set the ending of February and by March 3, I paid for an apartment.. It's just about yourself primarily though but a plan to a new beginning makes it easier... And makes it easier to measure if one failed with the resolution or not. Because at the end of the year, u judge yourself. PS: 2019 was a beautiful year for me. Thanking baba God for that and I pray for increase in 2020 |

@ lalasticlala, seun We will appreciate more of foreign news like this on the front page.. Thanks. |
healthserve:How effective is this method of conditioning? People with these chronic disorders end up making escuses for themselves and continue their lifestyle... BTW, you are intelligent, I must say! |
healthserve:If u diagnosed a personality disorder and you recommended a therapist why did you still condemn her that much? Like blaming a psychotic patient that hears voices and has no insight, for attempting murder. |
Midas01:I believe in gender equality and I advocate it as much as I can. But not when things are very visible and people still just want to talk, then it's nothing but playing the victim card.. Go through the thread and see how people castigated 9ce. The parents distanced themselves from the marriage, is that not condemnation enough? Yet, someone from nowhere said no one was saying anything. Is it until he is murdered? |
All I will just say is that, "it is good to be good". I think the OP succeeded in increasing his customer base. |
imiski: mrssomebody:Nobody is talking and the parents distanced themselves from the wedding. And harsh comments on nairaland... People stigmatize men who leave their wives for whatever reason and single ladies avoid them. I hate it when ladies play victim card. What do we say about the man saying same? |
I'm still waiting for the final truth.. Gradually surfacing |

I copied the story to Google in order to read the full story from a different blog since I know it's all copy and paste.. I prefer that to clicking that link |
You are simply not smart. You need not cheat to pass it once if u were smart |

![]() I don't even have energy to type. But the new one I noticed about Nigerians is that why they come in as an emergency, they are very loyal. As soon as they get better, Chai, you start seeing razor blade mouth and funny attitudes... Especially island patients. They talk down on their doctora under the guise that they are sophisticated and they know their rights. I laughed bitterly when one told me " Doctor, you need to do whatever thing I want, no matter how silly it is because I am paying my bills". After the whole event, attending to her husband, I had to call her that " madam, see don't ever tell someone you entrust the life of your loved one on, that you are paying. Yes, you are paying, but this is not a kind of bread and butter trade, this is life". She had to apologize. Working in a big hospital and meeting big people is cool but this people are too saucy. I had to call a friend working in the UK and ask if this oyinbo people are rude to their doctors and he said they are very respectful. So where did they get their own madness from? |
midnighter:You see, most people's comment here is borne out of ignorance.. Some believe the way they think is the way the doctor should think also. Someone was talking about typhoid and appendicitis which are close in diagnosis. Funnily, the person could actually be having appendicitis and get better on the same antibiotics prescribed for the typhoid and end up not needing surgery. Some blaming a doctor for adverse drug effect. Someone said what he had was symptoms of high cholesterol but the doctor said something else. Cholesterol has no specific symptoms. Someone said the doctor was already giving him drip before the test result which is a standard practice. You don't wait for result most times before administering fluids. One said he was given ibuprofen for headache by a doctor. So what do u want for an headache he probably think it's primary? Abrg Nigerians have failed this doctors' effort I must say One woman went to Facebook to condemn the doctor seeing her relative. Blasted the doctor for giving glucose containing fluid for someone who was suffering from diabetes. That is a very correct management cos at a point in managing diabetes complications you ensure you add a dextrose fluid because of the insulin. So your patient wont have sudden low sugar which kills faster.. And I wonder why they are only talking about the bad experiences... 95% of my patients leave my office daily saying thank you wholeheartedly... Doctors propose to the government what should be done to improve the health system and its not done. Hypocrites will not channel their brunts against the government but the doctors working under terrible conditions... When they completely leave the country and it gets to a point where u need to kidnap the few remaining in order to answer to your need only then will they undersand. Or you think oyinbo doctors will strive here? They will fail big time under this harsh condition. There are bad ones but it's not as bad as it's being stated. Give kudos when necessary |
My own is that these oyinbo people are not wise. Day in day out u see pictures of different children circulating the internet with the ages stated. This tiny boy is 15yrs old. When we want to present boys for under 17,they suddenly become big and muscular. And the oyinbos are not asking if they underwent any special dieting before selection.. |
anonymuz:Always quick at condemning your country.. This is crime and this is human. There are bad people everywhere. I was watching a programme this morning where am American guy was informing the citizens to beware of phone snatchers while the victim is in the car. Was surprised to know it happens in the USA too. Just like someone said, what Nigerians call "bribery" is mostly called "lobbying" by Americans We need to work against bad people. They are everywhere |
Truth is, in as much as he is incompetent, there's little he can do. He can't stop the violence. He can't stop the tugs from being used. And he can't influence the tribunal... He makes judgments based on the figures tabled before him.. Nigerian election is now for the best riggers Blame Bubu for poor security and blame the law court... 300 Jegas will fail under this act |
At this stage, Mourinho is only experimenting. He is fulfilled already |
gandyluv:Nope, I'm just stating how messed up things are |
I have not got my October salary too |
Shibaraba:This should be the number one tip |
