I tell people this a lot and they actually think I'm saying nonsense. Build your house after you have solidified your business. This is why an uneducated yoruba man doesn't do well as much as an uneducated igbo man. Most people get to see little money from their business and rush to get a land. The business isn't solid enough yet but instead of reinvesting the profit in order to improve the business they go buy a land. Every little profit from the business which is still of a low scale, will be used in financing the building. Because the profit is low, they end up spending part of their capital in addition to the profit in order to fast track the building which is overdue.this act makes the business die and they become poor landlords On the other hand, their igbo counterpart who are also into small scale businesses, reinvest such funds into the business. The business grows and they build a more powerful structure in a decent location within a short time.
Before your crucify me, I have live examples and I am proudly yoruba |

This is good! But I must say APC is "about" to fail us in Lagos. The state of Lagos roads is terrible. The roads which needed rehabilitation now require total reconstruction. These roads were constructed by fashola or continuously maintained by his administration. Ambode left these roads unmaintained resulting in total breakdown. This has resulted in heavy traffic, destruction of businesses and poor face of the state. The state is now very ugly. I don't care if Ambode was ousted for same reasons. He was initially placed there by Apc and they should have known about his incompetence before installing him... Sanwoolu has a lot to do but we hope he does because I don't see him as serious... If Sanwoolu does not perform "more" than expectation, we will happily deliver Lagos to PDP |

Handsomecole: We Have Commenced Payment of New Minimum Wage – Chris Ngige
Kenneth Udeh, Abuja
Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Chris Ngige, has said that the N30,000 new Minimum Wage is “a reality”, asserting that the Federal Government has commenced payment of the new wage to workers at the lower cadres of the public service.
He argued that the current quagmire between the Federal Government and organised labour arose from adjusting the wages of government workers from grade level 7 to 14, with the two parties yet to agree on final figures. Collective bargaining, the Minister said, was the only way to end the tussle, and that once agreed other grade levels would start earning their new wages.
In an interview with Daily Sun‘s KENNETH UDEH in Abuja, Minister Ngige spoke on topical national issues, including Nigeria’s 59th Independence anniversary, social investment programmes and the impact of Nigeria’s border closure on domestic industries.
What is the Federal Government’s stance on the N30,000 new Minimum Wage?
I understand that the N30,000 Minimum Wage is a reality, that is why we have started the implementation. The N30,000 Minimum Wage is for the man at the lowest position in the job ladder, so we are already paying that. The public servants of those offices are already earning the new Minimum Wage. With the consequential adjustment, we have a problem with adjusting the wages of level 7 to level 14 workers. The problem is with negotiations, because the two parties [government and labour] are yet to agree on the figures. It is expected to happen because it is a negotiation. And anything that concerns wages and negotiations, you should be ready for hard negotiations, especially when the economy is not too good. The good thing happening now is collective bargaining, because it is a consequential adjustment. So, I do not see it as a problem that cannot be solved. We have to solve it. And once we solve it, other grade levels will start earning their new scales of wages.

betterview3: Thanks Doc.
I don't get relief from ppi, h2 receptor antagonists etc.
I have no difficulty or pain urinating. None at all. The sensations or hotness, (more of like hotness) gets to my groin. I feel my whole body from neck to legs hot.
As per part of pain, it's not as if, it's a particular area in the abdomen. No particular side. I have been examined too physically by many.
I FEEL THE HOTNESS or cramp EVERYWHERE. It same hotness that radiates to my whole body.
It's feels like someone is pouring methylated spirit on open wound.
I feel worse if i bend to tie my shoes or pick something on the floor. Feel worse if i try to pound with a mortar, or if a bus hits a pothole. Anything that causes bodily movement like running etc.
I feel worse if i get bad news too or lose substantial sum.
I am confused and tired. I havent gained weight too but lost some.
I know online is not hospital but I have met over 50 doctors at different times.
I just want to see if I can get a clue then find doctors offline I can suggest to.
I strongly believe its not pyschological, I know what i am going through.
Thr Ct scan was with contrast. UNTH further confirmed h pylori 3 days ago. Making it 3 different labs. Blood samples were used in all.
I observed that having diarrhoea that leads to watery stools gives me a small relief.
THANKS a lot for your input and concerns. I appreciate them. Now I get a clearer picture. This is a neuropathy.. Like a nerve is entrapped. But sadly u might not be able to tell where it's coming from... See a neurologist.. Attempt neurovite, it could help. And intravenous vitamin B complex... Health › Re: Hospitals Visits for abdominal pains. Advice Needed please by drlaykay(m): 4:05pm On Oct 04, 2019 |
betterview3: In the past 3 years I have spent hundreds of thousands in hospitals trying to treat abdominal pains, burning stomach radiating to my groin and at times to my whole body.
Symptoms do not respond to ppi, antacids, or any drug at all.
Pains and burning sensations are there 24 hours, eating bland diets or even not eating at all does not give relief.
I have done all routine tests. Yes all. I mean it. I even did 2 ultrasounds, endoscopy, and even CT scans.
I have met many doctors and consultants at UNTH, ASUTH, ESUT (park lane) These are teaching hospitals.
All tests are okay and doctors have dismissed me, saying my issue is psychological. But I am not okay. I know. I am in my mid 20s.
Following my intuition last week, I did h pylori test and it was positive. (It used to be negative). I repeated it 3 days ago at different lab and it was also positive.
NOW, h pylori can cause my symptoms, maybe it's my problem. I desire treating it in the most effective way and with the best drugs.
I need suggestions from experts and experienced people here.
I have suffered so much and lost many opportunities because of this.
Please help. This is quite interesting I must say.. If u don't get relieved, no matter how minute, from either of antacid, proton pump inhibitor (like omeprazole) or H2 receptor antagonists ( like cimetidine) then it's time to stop thinking about peptic ulcer. H. Pylori can be present in normal individual without peptic ulcer. And it's not the mainstay for diagnosing peptic ulcer. Endoscopy still remains the key element. So let's puncture this. What part of the abdomen is the pain? Upper or lower right or left? Do u urinate too frequently when this pain is intense? Do u feel pain while urinating? For the pain to aggravate to the groins it could be a ureteric stone. Unfortunately the ultrasound scans might miss it. The CT scan could miss it too unless it's a non contrast CT.Xray too could pick it depends on the type of stone. So the best investigation is a non contrast CT. All the same, online diagnosis can't be relied on. Go to a good doctor, discuss my possible diagnosis with him. He takes a comprehensive history and guides you on carrying further investigations. And if it's not ureteric stone, then I might be forced to join the band of other doctors who think it might be psychological. All the best |

alsudaes1: The OP didn't state any of the other symptoms of breast engorgement, his wife have even been breastfeeding their baby for about 6 months....
Even though my view was based on what I've seen in a breastfeeding mom, I saw the piece below online too and you can do well by also researching further on why a breastfeeding mom of 6 months could have one breast larger than the other
Why Breasts May Become Uneven If one breast gets more stimulation than the other, it will produce more milk and grow larger than the other one. It can happen when a baby prefers one breast over the other or if you start nursing on the same breast most of the time. As long as your child is getting enough breast milk and growing at a steady rate, uneven breasts aren't really anything to worry about. But, if your uncomfortable or it bothers you, there are some things you can do to try to get your breasts back to a similar size.
https://www.verywellfamily.com/breastfeeding-and-uneven-breasts-431788 I once typed an epistle as I countered the fact in the text you sent to me but sadly, I can't explain why it didn't get posted and got lost. I was explaining the central oxytocin action causing milk letdown And why it's impossible to get the particular breast being sucked to be bigger than the other. Physiologically impossible based on the physiology we know. If there's any pathology, then we can look into it, but trying to explain it with the normal physiology, then it's not correct... mayordy: Good day people,
A month ago, I suddenly started feeling pain in my chest and dizzy eyes and numb palms and feet, I thought it was shortness of blood because I have been stressed for the past 6 months waking up out of bed getting into traffic to work and coming back in traffic late at night.
The chest pain feeling like my heart skipping a beat still didn’t go away, i couldn’t get a sound sleep every morning I wake up unrefreshed and tired through out the day
I checked my blood pressure one day at the pharmacy and it was abnormally high and I’m just 26 I went to the doctor and conducted PCV to check my blood count, malaria test and fasting sugar, all came out normal, he suspected angina so I also did an ECG which also came out normal, the doctor gave me paracetamol, vitamin B12 capsule and since then that is how I have been frequenting the hospital, each time the blood pressure still high.
Last week I was still at the doctor last Thursday and my BP was 148/96 at my age, yet the doctor doesn’t really tell me much he just keep prescribing the same sleeping pills and vitamin B12 and iron capsule.
Right now I presently can’t help myself to sleep, my day is always filled with fatigue, headache, dullness, I lose concentration at work, I can’t seem to get anything done because my eyes get heavy and my head be pounding me seriously. I don’t know what is going on I’m gradually losing the sharp young man I used to be.
Please, I don’t know if anybody has gone through a phase like this or if we have experienced doctors in the house please.
Please I need all the help I can get On no account should you bring your health issues on social media unless probably you need money for health challenges never for advice. Again never for advice. Better still, change your doctor. And once more than 2 doctors insists on one thing stick to it and work with them. Now lemme state this first so you may relax. YOU ARE NOT HYPERTENSIVE. Your blood pressure is high because you have not been sleeping. Some people will call this secondary hypertension, but I will not. Once you can get to sleep well, that would be taken care of. Now, from your hx you seem to have an anxiety disorder. What particular issue never leaves your mind? What can't you help but think about within the space of an hour? What makes you feel bad immediately it crosses your mind and comes quite often?... Go back to your doctor. Tell him you met a doctor who suggested he thinks alongside an anxiety disorder. Let him take a comprehensive hx to ascertain. And also tell him I suggest he places u on anxiolytics if he feels you qualify. DON'T TELL HIM YOU MET THE PERSON ONLINE. He won't take you seriously. I won't too. And if you will be needing a medical psychologist, he should let you know .You can send me a personal message if you need more advice |
