If only you are an active participant in the auto industry, then you'll realise you'll only take any mechanic claiming to fix all cars with a pinch of salt

If he were that good, and he's been doing it for 15yrs, he must be known and will have had some sort of presence online either via his site or via someone somewhere mentioning or recommending him

Besides, this is an indirect advert thread for a direct competitor, he should develop some sense and go start his own thread and build his own name, instead of trying to reap from the sweat of Someone else

Talking from experience .. There is nothing special about most of all these low tech or simple cars that some of these mechanic specialise in. The major thing is making sure u get a trust worthy and honest mechanic that know what he or she is doing.. My currant mechanic is from Togo.. He specialise mainly in Korea cars and Japanese cars. And also I have recommended him to other people.. The problem with Nigerians in general in regards to work ethic ,is that they lack customers service.. They don't care or know how to build clients ... nothing really special as to what are these mechanics do .. Just find an honest one that and stick to him.. What experience do you really need fixing outdated cars ?

Well to begin with, I don't know much about Mobil ESP formula, nor will I use it .. And also I have never seen it in the USA Market. And I also stay away buying certain products that are imported for Nigeria market .. Due to the fact that I easily import those things myself..
As for Mobil 1 annual protection .. It didn't do well in the USA Market, due to the fact that nobody wanted to pay about $60.00 for oil for 5quarts. And also not too many people felt comfortable ruining their car for 1 year without changing oil ..and also you have the extended performance that is good for 15k miles, and obviously I will not wait 15k miles to change my oil , for my uber cars with Mobil 1 extended performance I change oil with good oil filters at 12k miles. With no problems. Now with Mobil ESP formula oil change is about 3k miles or so. So I do what works for me .

Not at all .. I think it was the most dumbest thing that Mobil try to Market.. Basically the extended performance oil is good for 15k miles change and than you want to market Annual protection which is twice the price of extended performance.. Price wise didn't add up

I will be buying parts from the dealership for a customer of mine next week .. But the only clause is that I can't provide any warranty for it .. But rest assured it's from lexus itself.... And the arrival time is in March .. But since its an 07 Lexus not a 2013 upward any one will do .. I just wanted to offer solutions too ..

I can't say coz I have never owned a corolla on uber fleet.. But with a civic I can say I have no regrets ..strong car, good on fuel easy to fix and parts are many... the most important thing is to follow the manufacture advice and use good oil and coolant.. The only down side to the civic is that it's very low to the ground. Other than that my drivers never complain to me .

2.6m for an 07 corolla? Lmao. Which state is the vehicle located? At that price, it does not make economic sense to purchase unless it's a clean title corolla S with exceptionally low miles in perfect condition. At that price range, I will rather be gunning for a salvage title 2010 camry or 2010 corolla instead.

Corolla is over rated .. I don't go near it and it is too expensive.. There are better alternative out there

The car is a tòkunbó. I decided to service it before using it, and thought there's nothing wrong with getting practical advice.

Unless whoever used it abroad abused it, I think it is still in good condition.

I did use Castrol 5W30 for the oil change, however nothing says If there's a room to improve I shouldn't take it

I'm seeking advice so that I can prolong its life in my hands is all.
