The requirement is to show evidence of your maintenance funds in your account for minimum 28days, it is best to go above the minimum.

Once the statement is printed, you must make your application within 30days , if it is longer you will need to reprint an up to date statement

I am unsure of what 31days you refer to in your question but hopefully that answers.

Your child Maintenance can be submitted seperately and during the application. Please note the ECO may request previous statement for the MA and other dependant to confirm funds are not recycled


Most important,your maintenance is for your use in the UK,any other arrangements is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

The initial amount that was in my proof of fund account was 25m for 3 people(myself, dependant and child) due to the oanda rate the 25m is no longer sufficient for 3 people just 2. I was thinking of starting another proof of fund for my child since the previous is sufficient for myself and dependant. However, I have seen people collect their passport without the tracker even changing

Do they request the bank to send a new statement so they compare with the uploaded one or they send the uploaded bank statement to the bank and tell them to confirm if it indeed it emanates from the bank.

Has there been a case where UKVI will issue visa to main applicant and refuse dependent visas?

We all did biometric same day on 10th July 2023.

The main applicant got TLS travel documents ready email on 19th and BRP email on 20th.

For my wife and 3 kids nothing has shown up o no email sent to me on there behalf.

What could be the reason for the delay?

I was just thinking if they needed further information they would have contacted me.

My kids are 3yrs, 1yr and (15yrs, had him out of wedlock during university and have provided consent from the mother side)

Have lived together from age 1 till this moment.

I am just curious as all their applications are still on DMC received.

While in school I was teaching in a private school, after my graduation, I got another Job 2014 which I ĺost 2019 towards covid. I registered a business name 2019. So I have been working for myself since 2020 till date. I sell clothes online (whatsapp).
The only evidence I have is my CAC certificate.

Please I am finding it difficult to start my Visa application process on GOV.UK. If I click on NO on the second question which says DO I HAVE EU PASSPORT, the app will re-send me back to the first question WHERE I WANT TO LIVE. This has been the case since yesterday so I don't think it's network issue. Though I used the link sometimes November 2022 but I didn't complete the process since I didn't later applied for the Visa.

Could it be because of that because I read that access may be difficult if one didn't revisit the process after 10 weeks?

If yes, then what can I do please?

2. For someone who had a visa refusal earlier this year, am I to declare it with evidence (the refusal email from UKVI) during my application or it’s okay to just declare it without uploading the refusal email from UKVI?

3. Hope I wouldn’t need any employment letter/reference as I graduated 2019, started NYSC 2021 and finished 2022 (couldn’t go 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak).. I hope my NYSC certificate can suffice?
