I got offer from Salford around March, I did my TB test around April 5th with the intention of processing my CAS but unfortunately my TB certificate was delayed for almost ten weeks because I was told to undergo sputum test. While waiting for sputum result, Salford withdrew my admission because I didn't pay the required deposit to secured my place. I subsequently applied into Ulster University which I was given offer.

Now, I am preparing to get my CAS from Ulster because I have gotten my TB certificate after my sputum test result indicate Negative.

My complain now is that my TB certificate has Salford University address which Ulster has already clarity that it's not a problem, but my wife is about doing her TB test.

Should she use the same Salford address as mine or use Ulster?

If she uses Ulster University address as my dependant which is different from mine, hope UKVI won't see this as a fault?

My visa application was on 13th June and my biometric was done on 19th. And on 20th my application was received by DMC and I got empty nsf together with my dependent..since then am stuck at DMC while many other who gone for biometric same day already gotten their visa .

Can I do a paid call or mail...as my mind wasn't at rest.

Kindly advice pls..

And to who have gone through this empty nsf ..and how did you go about it.

If you have a study gap of more than 5years you need to submit evidence of your activities since your last degree, so you need to submit your work references.

If you don't you will get an NSF requesting for that evidence.

You have 2 references out of 3, that is okay compared to none.


2. CV is not compulsory so you could skip that if you choose too

I mentioned earlier that if you choose to submit your updated CV, send same to your Uni so the records are consistent


Up to you to decide to follow this or that of someone else

Yes, we intend to combine account both MA and dependant, but please note that MA will have to apply first which is nextweek the remaning balance on his account will be merged to dependant account when it matures because his is currently in excess at the moment

For the 4th paragraph from your response, do you mean we should attach pof consent letter to use MA account together with dependant's pof

I also went to North Cyprus 2022 for study but couldn't complete the course after gaining admission in the UK. I left after three months (voluntarily with a valid permit) .Hope this won't pose any issue towards my visa application.

If you deduct funds it should be for that purpose only,keep any evidence of what you do

Any other arrangement is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

I will assume you asking about combining accounts


You can combine accounts with your spouse as long as it meets the required amount on the date of your application


If you do combine accounts include a cover letter to address what accounts refer to what application( between the MA and dependant)

Following my last question, please i need another clarity. Is it possible to add the on MA's POF to what i am currently running in my account.

So what we are currently running in MA's account is over 23m which was suppose to be used for all of us but due to the fluctuations of FX i have started counting down with my own account but what i did was at the rate of 1400 for 1 person.
Now considering the recent drop of fx what is in the MA's account will only be sufficient for 2 at the rate of 912 and today's rate is 954 although the application won't be due until mid nextweek. my major question is can the case worker add the balance on the MA's account with the second account i am running for it to be sufficient for 2 provided that we submit both account statement with consent, or i should top up what i have in the second account to sufficient for 2.

Evidence of that withdrawal and cash value (incase of POE request) or receipt of what it was used to pay for i.e Accommodation( for subsequent application for instance dependants)
should be retained.

There are proposed changes for Jan 2024 on maintenance funds, at the moment,the stipulated maintenance per month within and outside London doesn't equate to the current cost of living.

Also how that evidence will be presented/verified before and after visa application may be addressed.

As long as evidence is kept, and presented when requested it should be fine

I’m now learning that at the point of your visa application, you need to include reference or appointment letters for every single place you’ve worked at. I currently do not have have an appointment or reference letter for one of these three places, but I have for the other two places.

Any arrangement is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

If you are removing your funds for study purpose (flight not included),keep the evidence.

At the point of applying for visa after my wife got her CAS, we couldn't use the POF due to the volatile rate issue. So we did POF @ N1,500 rate per pounds and started counting another 28 days which by 18th of july it will be mature. So we plan on printing statement and submitting visa on the 19th of july.

If rate does not exceed N1,000 per pounds on submission, Can we remove some amount to do N1,000 rate per pounds after printing statement and submitted visa until visa decision is taken.

I just want to be sure so as to do the right thing as money we funded for me and my spouse is over 32M for our POF and even too much and this will enable us save more and if it will have negative effect let me know so as i can leave it like that till decision is taken.

No hope, in light of oanda exchange rates he needs to change his job to one that will offer him atleast 400k per month. I'm not saying he should quit his current job oh, I'm saying create ghost work for visa purpose

Since he has 5million he can painstakingly look for where he can draft employment letter with letterheaded of a company with atleast registeration on CAC (any company will do) and state therein that he will be earning 400k per month basic salary with annual salary of 4.8million for whatever job post as long as it tallies with whatever he graduated with in school here cos he will also need his degree and associated post grad certs if any when applying .

He will need a new bank account to go with this that the company can be paying into on a particular day of every month and run it for 4months.

He can grow the money from 300thousand opening account in his new account for the company to be paying into and strictly spend not more than 50k every month with that his 5million that he already has.

If the money reach 1.8m or more after the 4 months, he is home and dry to apply.

If he does this the only thing he will need to prove when applying are letters of casual leave from this fictitious workplace on a week visit to the UK reinforced by cover letter ofcourse

Your CAS will usually state the last date for resumption

Count backwards to include minimum 15-20days wait time for standard visa

Even if you apply using a priority use that as a bench mark. You should have applied for your visa on or before whatever date that is
