Hello House. Can we have live reports from the election field?I believe the primary reason of setting up this thread is monitor the election and bring updates. We can use less of these bickering, arguments and counter arguments. |

ubanett: PDP AND APGA LEADINGFor real? where is Ngige? |
Madjeibo, DO NOT attempt going to withdraw the money posted to you. It is no error. I very much suspect they are trying to lure you into a trap and eventually get even with you. Alternatively, go and simply close the account and end further correspondence with them. |
I'll like to see pictures of Karimo, Gwagwa, idu, Kubwa (Byazin across axis)Nyanya, and other slums! |
Madjeibo, yaya, akwai labari? |
Nice piece. Quite revealing. Like someone said here, the piece can be imbibed across board.Much as the reasons and lessons listed seem very simple, many folks still make those obvious and makes-no-sense-at-all expenditures that is not in the interest of their 'eventual and entire' life. Nice piece again |
darqly: Dude, I laugh in GbagyiKeeping up with your weak and empty mind is Laborious. Arguing with you has no intellectual benefit. Enjoy! |
darqly: Like we say, this boy will not kill me Kai! Walahi, your ignorance is advanced and stupidity at its peak. Why is my MBA (which you grudgingly eventually acknowledged) tormenting your soul and causing you sleepless nights? ehn? You chose to magnify and glorify a comment i made in passing and made it your nightmare? Bros, they don't make many men like you oh ( in 'that' sense). And since Havard MBA's are your yardstick for measuring 'content' am i to understand that everyone in your genealogy (you inclusive) not Harvard trained are empty? Glad to see you could take out time to go research on my academic history. See how terrified you have become of me? Albeit, its takes even less than being 'Darqly' to uncover what route you swam. Simply admit you have been licked and have no answers to my questions. Only a 'Darqly' will bite your sour bread of excuses.Your badly battered ego wont let go i assume. Did GTB employ this fellow? Chei! Some mothers do have them |
darqly: Dude,Upload the mba and I'll show you how to pass your next gmat assessmentIs these all you have in stock? Respond to my questions, and i assure you i will email scanned copy of my cert to you. That you lack the intellectual or academic competence to earn an MBA or even engage in any meaningful debate ( as has become obvious here) doesn't mean many us can't. Mr. Darqly, answer my questions and throw out all these face saving diversions. Nothing else will convince me you had proper 'upbringing'. |
darqly: Spoken like a true potty-mouthed Child. And you have the cojones to brag about an MBA? Dude, if you have an MBA, then I'm the prince of wales!!Over 24 hours later, and this is the best you can come up with? I laugh in gwari. ![]() Bros,go sleep! |
My guy Darqly. You Just dey fumble.Acting true to type like anyone without depth and contrived cyber intelligence, you choose to respond to only what you can Manouvre. Pls repond 1)What empirical study shows that only about 20 % clientele attracts 80% profit to any business.Pls explain how Dangote et all provide same products to same demographic at same price and yet only 20% of such customers end up bringing 80% profit.Like to know if i should burn my MBA cert as its earning disagrees with what you opined. 2) What other Hierarchy and proper channels should OP have explored after several verbal and documented complaints outside GT banks head offices and branches to its own officials? Abeg educate me 3) Sice when did it become an offence to use social media in prosecuting any (deemed fit) worthy cause(what you call terrorist fashion)? 4) Just how much stress should any individual go through before he or she gets proper attention to complaint at any GT bank? 5) You had labelled Nairalanders who hold contrary opinion to yours "TOUT"s and called your colleague Modupe "DAFT", are we to believe that you (like me) did not have best of upbringings ? Your mum was perhaps busy servicing barrack privates so your family does not starve?6) If you expressed surprise that OP's money was not taken by GB bank, i ask again, will i be wrong to call you and everyone with such mindset a bloody thief? An off-shoot from your poor upbringing perhaps? More questions will definitely follow, however pls respond to these for a start. Lastly, am still searching to see where you condemned the allegedly bad service meted out to OP. Rather all you have largely been concerned about is GT's reputation and berated OP for bringing the matter here. Pls refer me to where you categorically condemn alleged complicity on GTs part. I dey wait |
darqly: This has nothing to do with sop. There is hierarchy in EVERY corporate organization. If I go to customer care and they're faffing about, I ask to see their supervisor- works all the time. And he's based in Lagos where top management are scattered in several branches; even the daft modupe has a boss or line manager she reports to. Like I stated, he has gotten their attention albeit in terrorist fashion but at what cost? He has categorically labelled ALL staff of the bank thieves with the exception of top management. I'm surprised they didn't take the millions he turned over in the account instead.I chose to ignore your last response to me, but am again forced to address your annoying line of reason. Uncle darqly, am not one to get swept off by long grammar with no logic. Pray tell, how much hierarchy should OP approach after going to GTB's head office and was met by a lawyer in their legal department as he said? He even wrote a complaint letter. He gave names ( Osemota, Yakubu, Shola,Stella)and branches of the bank he had been to, which all yielded no result. All of which i suppose can be verified. yet, by your reckoning, that is still not enough? How much more stress should any responsible service providing institution put its client through? Yet you label his coming to social media as "terrorist fashion"? The mode of "terrorist fashion" used to mobilize populace and enthrone good change across the globe? As far as you are concerned, he should have just gone on to refund money he (said) he did not eat, and not challenge bad and shabby treatment (putting it mildly)? I find your mind an interesting research-able topic. Then you go further to say "I'm surprised they didn't take the millions he turned over in the account instead". Isn't it now obvious how your likes (bankers) reason? Will i be out of order if i call you a bloody thief? Mr.Darqly, tell your people to apologize to the OP. If the Top management was as nice to him as he said, then they most likely have found they were wrong, else they would have muzzled him with clear facts and gone on to prosecute him. we know how ruthless bank lawyers are when trying to recover funds. |
mykeeikeng: Is there anything to deny or confirm here ? Honestly it is really painful to see people resorting to mob actions in an attempt to denigrate a good thing . The facts are not hidden at all from all the posts I have read. The poster abandoned the account after his account was blocked because he "chopped" money that did not belong to him. Some years after , he got an inflow , and suddenly the account became useful to him.To start with, why did the bank wait that long (few years later) to take any action at all? Before opening an account, you are usually required to fill in certain details, like home/ office address's, telephone number ETC? So why was he not contacted to make refund of whatever he 'chopped'? Pray, tell why the bank did not take legal action against OP for his fraudulent withdrawal of funds that were not his? The shoddiness of GTB is obvious, (if all of these is true anyway). You cant adequately convince me on waiting years and hoping the individual makes deposit before you recoup your supposed stolen funds. What if he never uses that account again, suppose he dies nko? Much as am being careful in condeming GTB, there are many questions begging for answers. Pls tell your people to clean up their act if this is true.Dont come here with all these annoying posts sir |
lonamy: If GTbank guys have access to Nairaland, I believe they can have enough leaves to borrow from the contents of this page. No bank banks it better than first bank. Erin lomo for life. All these new generation banks, hun uh!!! yo better be very careful.Better pay seun for this advertorial ![]() |
mykeeikeng: @ Walesmann , your post , to me is really the main issue. I believe all men of reason need not go beyond your post to really understand what must have happened in this case.Have you and walesmann been following this thread? The guy has repeatedly answered these same set of questions. The bank should confirm or deny his allegations. |
darqly: @Dude, I'm not disappointed at your response. Banality is rife on this forum. It's apparent you're still a minor; your inability to engage in conversation civilly speaks volumes and is quite pathetic. Please remain anonymous for YOUR sakeSee am? You refused to even comment on the issues i raised. Abegi go siddon. Am not fooled by the face saving verbal engagements and obvious diversion |
darqly: Two things stand out for me in this saga. We don't speak to the right people when we have issues that can be thrashed out easily. As an ex banker I'm amazed and appalled that you didn't know the proper channels to follow to achieve speedy resolution. You may have gotten a response for now owing to the negative publicity you have generated here, but I assure you it's a phyrric victory. Nonetheless, learn whatever lessons you can to protect yourself and your finances. I also expect gtbank to close your account in the interest of all parties concerned.Your stupidity is really amazing. The first few lines of your comments seem to be making sense till you imported that weird logic of 20% customers = profit. So why does your bank ( as it is obvious you are a foolish banker like Modupe) even bother retaining the other 80% if they are of little or no profit value? If the other 80% are low profit worthy, then its simple arithmetic that they are most likely a source of waste of resources and ultimately, loss. So why stick with them anyway or endure their usual complaints? What you seem to be saying is that the other 80% does not matter and should perhaps go to blaze. The same attitude you see on the faces of ECOBANK staff in Wuse 2 branch, near glo office. I will be interested in knowing why i get usual debits on my accounts even when both accounts individually hold less than a million naira, yet one faulty logic spinning banker says we are of no profit value. My undergraduate business class taught me that 'the business of business is business',i.e, profit. Not all of us are fooled by the 'we are here to serve you' cliche promoted by many of these banks and other corporate institutions. What research or statistics indicates that only about 20% of customers bring 80% profit to any business as u asserted? If you are so confident of your position, pls shed the toga of online anonymity and lets take it up. Don't come here to do a messy PR job for Modupe and GT Bank |
op, i can give you a phone number of a Deputy Director in banking supervision department of CBN if you are interested, send your email address. Am really surprised this is happening in GTB. |
Must folks here always find a way of making every post an ethnic/tribal war? what's it with the regional superiority we always try to promote? na wa oh! |
Ogogoro did it for me somewhat. whos thinking suppose u end up marying him/her and he or she losses either the money or the looks someway? see why the word "divorce" will always feature? my option: go for someone u connect with! |
Congrats to Engr. Aregbesola. But honestly the man needs a physical image polish. those beards make him come across like a riff-raff. |
True, anything and everything and happens in the realm of politics. but Atiku being president will be another wonder of the world. The Northern political establishment will not even give him any support. |

If you were decent enough to backtrack, you'd see that your first 'intellectual' comment was to insult me directly after I posted on this matter. That was enough to let me know how shallow your reasoning is and I can't be bothered to debate with an empty gong. Your much hyped MBA seems to be the highlight of your career hence the need to refer to it as the panacea for ALL the world's troubles
You chose to magnify and glorify a comment i made in passing and made it your nightmare? Bros, they don't make many men like you oh ( in 'that' sense).
