Please open this link and see what Major general Abdullah iyanda Muraina said in 2014. This man is culpable in the deaths of thousands of soldiers. He should not only be charged with Money laundering, they should also include manslaughter and culpable homicide. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/05/insecurity-poor-funding-affecting-military-operations-army-2/ |
I think this UN report is very belated and not in touch with reality. People fleeing book haram? where? Most of the IDP camps in Maiduguri and yobe have been closed down! 90% of the IDP camps in Bornu have been shut and people are returning to their homes. Nobody is fleeing from Boko haram because boko haram controls no where. This report may have been drafted sometime last year when some of the facts in it were accurate, and is probably only seeing light several months later. |

humilitypays:You'll know you're very close to admission to yaba psych hospital when you start dreaming about the Obama and the "new world order", or when you become a supporter of Femi Fani Kayode. The end is truly coming.....the end of your sanity! |
humilitypays:Like we say on nairaland, picture? or I don't believe it. Share a picture or video of Obama presiding over this meeting that produced ISIS or DAESH. Better behave your age and stop acting like a child being fed bullshit. |
humilitypays:This is what happens when you mix monkey tail with Igbo and buruntashi. Probably the same cocktail that got FFK to this state |
RZArecta:Femi fani Kayode has zero credibility! He will dance for Broom today and kiss umbrella tomorrow. He will steal N800 million today and claim he didn't know where the money came from to escape persecution. It was through this same position of Minister of Aviation that the EFCC charged him to court for money laundering before he narrowly escaped conviction. You would call someone who calls Omisore, Obanikoro and Fayose his "brothers in the struggle" a sane person? Yoruba people know the demons and saints amongst them. You'll never find a true omoluabi supporting this omo ale of an animal. |

Whynotthetruth:I'm sorry but why was KANU arrested in the first place? He smuggled transmitters illegally into the country, breached an MTN base station in Enugu and bribed the site engineer there to install transmitters to preach hateful messages in Nigeria. Buhari didn't order his arrest! He was arrested because he actually committed a crime. His case is currently in court and the only thing that keeps stalling his case is his insistence to be tried by a different judge every time his case is brought up. In the US today people are arrested by the FBI once they signify any intention to join any foreign terrorist organisation, even on their computers! Kabiru sokoto has not been released! Zaki biam and Odi were invaded and people extra judicially killed after miscreants killed army officers. The chief of army staff was retired after that Incident. |
Whynotthetruth:You people are just to sentimental to reason. What exactly do you want? Good roads? pipe born water? excellent schools? cheap food? jobs to cater to the thousands of unemployed? All these things could have been done with the money the NDDC was collecting from federal coffers, with the money the ministry if Niger Delta was collecting from federal coffers, from the money the SS state governors were collecting from federal coffers, from the 13% addition they were cokkecting from federal coffers. Why weren't they done? Those are the simple straightforward questions you should be asking yourself. Not 2014 confab report or this nonsense about restructuring. Does restructuring prevent Wine from completing the mono rail project in Rivers? Does restructuring prevent the Delta state government from building quality schools in escravos? even with the 13% derivation? Let's face the issues and stop whipping up stupîd sentiments. |
OP abeg edit your post. The picture clearly shows Wacot Rice, ikeja Lagos as the client. This is not a Federal government project. The FG does not build factories or industries again. |
Whynotthetruth:You can't use decisions made during an oppressive military regime to judge a Democratic regime. Everyone lost someone during Abachas rule of tyranny. Abacha killed and imprisoned everyone that stood in his way, Yoruba's Ibos and even Hausa's. If that is your justification for blowing up pipelines in 2016, you must be very sick. |
Whynotthetruth:Forget this freedom fighting thing! Nobody is oppressing you! What you need is more accountability! See how much was allocated to the ministry of Niger Delta in 6 years and not a single project was completed within that period! whose fault? Hausa's? Then you have the NDDC and the various state governments in the SS with separate budgets and with 13% derivation. Where the hell is all the money going?? If you would just hold your governors accountable for once! How on earth is it Buhari's fault that Godswill Akpabio stole more than 100billion naira from AkwaIbom? Even when the EFCC tried to investigate you people turned around and cried witch hunt. |
donborg:Jonathan and his wife were "dialoguing" with our national cake, look where that got us. |
Doghari:So you're the one counselling those illiterates to go on polluting their waterways and destroying their farmlands because of "peaceful exploration pollution"? Illiteracy is now a problem in the creeks or maybe drinking too much oil polluted water has taken some sense out of your brain. Continue destroying whatever remains of your land, chasing expertraits and investors away and kidnapping the rest. Let's see who wins in 10years time. Everyone is moving away from violence and foolishness and going back to the farm. The easterners that used to detest going hone because of crime and kidnapping are now flocking home to farm in the east. Continue destroying your heritage. |
Doghari:The ones who destroyed? Those illiterate "freedom fighters" are polluting their farmlands and their waterways everyday by bombing pipelines in the name of "fighting for their rights". Who on earth sets fire to his own house with his children in it, just so he can spite his neighbour who doesn't even send him! They even attack the engineers they send in to repair the bombed pipelines. Its just pure illiteracy. I can't wait to see you people on CNN in the not distant future, begging for food aid cos that's where you're headed. |
People up north are going back to the farm. Same with the easterners and westerners. Its only those miscreants in the creeks that are refusing to do anything meaningful with their lives. In a couple of years, when the rest of Nigeria has achieved self sufficiency in food production, when the west is producing all the petrol we need and when all our power plants are away from the creeks, those miscreants in the creeks will be on CNN with bowls in their hands, begging for food like refugees. Useless miscreants! |
PehaKaso:Jonathan and his wife were "transforming" our foreign reserves Into Skye bank accounts |
secure the country, fix infrastructure and food security, and then provide jobs. These things take time, not 16 months! Yesterday we read on Nairaland reports from several towns in the north that were celebrating Eid for the first time in 3\4 years! A similar military operation is going on in the south to root out criminals and vandals who have been hindering our electric power stability and bombing pipelines. Stable power is therefore not too far away. And increased oil export will resume. Thousands of jobs are being created up north because the borders have been closed to imported rice and hundreds of thousands of small holder farmers are producing rice, notwithstanding the initial price shock. Nigeria is gradually on the way to enhancing food security. We need to start looking at the positives that we've had in the last 16 months! Things will get bad before they get good. |
Before anyone starts generalising and shouting Buhari, let's understand what the issue is. Jet fuel is scarce because marketers cannot import in the d absence of forex. Forex is scarce because the price of oil tumbled from >130 two years ago to <45 today. This coupled with the pipeline bombings in the Niger Delta. All these happened within 16 months! There is no quick fix to this. We cannot diversify our economy in 16 months to gain more forex. We have no savings from the last administration which was one of the most profligate in our history. We need to understand what the issues are and not just scream Buhari. That in itself is "dullardism" |
After humbling from the EFCC, the thug is now looking for an out of court settlement. No more money to pay Mike Ozekome because he knows the EFCC is watching every transfer. Change has indeed come! |
It was only last week we saw a thread on nairaland about prostitution in Italy and the stats showed that 8 out of 10 African prostitutes in Italy are Nigerian, and 10 out of 10 of these Nigerian prostitutes are from Edo state. Mrs Obaseki was spot on. The question is what are the factors that contribute to making women from Edo go through the deserts of Niger and Libya just to sell their bodies in Italy? These are the issues Mrs Obaseki raised. Those PDP women in denial are probably the "madams" that send these poor innocent girls there. |
3sexy:Buhari will live longer than u....e sure me die! |
Icecomrade:Try reading more and spending less time on nairaland defending thieves http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/204162-efcc-secured-140-convictions-recovered-billions-dollars-6-months-magu.html |
I'm very happy about the Op's confession because it means things are really changing. Most people who hear anything about Aso rock and abuja expect to be given dollars and contracts like used to obtain in the past. The OP is clearly unaware that things have changed. If a handshake from the President of Nigeria is not enough for this ungrateful OP then nothing will ever be enough for him. This is the same scenario that played out with those bodyguards that were protesting that they were 'abandoned' by buhari after he became president when they were clearly given what was due to them after their contracts expired. There is no free meal again and no dollars to be shared anywhere again! |
anybody who knows the story of camp 5 and how Tompolo used to terrorise our waterways before Jonathan came in and made him an official government tax collector, will have no sympathy for tompolo. The guy has killed thousands of people especially during his piracy days. No sympathy and peace for that wicked man. This is even just the beginning of his karma payback. |
That's what you get for servicing two governors to maximum satisfaction. |
MCMLXXVI:Who's d dunce here? You clearly didn't read the part of the article that mentioned that these areas were under boko haram control when Nigeria was declared polio free. Jonathan's government concealed this fact when they were. celebrating Nigeria supposed polio free declaration by world health agencies. If I insult this one now one irresponsible moderator will block me. |
There are people that are just too lazy and irresponsible to understand the issues. When Jonathan was in power, a section of Nigeria excluding Gworza, Mungono, Jere and some other parts of Borno state were under the control of Boko haram. Nigeria was declared polio free then because these parts of Borno state were inaccessible for anyone to verify if there were cases of polio or not. Buhari's government has dislodged Boko haram from these areas and now we know Nigeria wasn't really polio free in the first place. Don't we have it better now that there is security in those areas and kids can actually get vaccinated against polio than when we had a President who lied about Nigeria being polio free purely for the purpose of the 2015 general elections? Its sad that Nigerians don't know who their real enemies are. Very sad indeed. |
This "nigerian parents" nonsense is getting very lame. Parents world over would ask the same questions. This donkey has been seriously over flogged ![]() |
onnenka:Seriously pity u. Continue bombing pipelines and polluting your land while others are cleansing their land from war and hunger. |
This is the ugliest human being I've seen all week. Seriously! |
