ceejay4real: My friend shut the fuvk up! You are just a BUFFOOON!!!! The Mid - West was carved out as a deliberate ploy by Nnamdi Azikiwe's NCNC & Ahmadu Bello's NPC to whittle down the influence and power of Awolowo's AG by all means and at all costs as a fall out of the 1962 treasonable felony case against some South West politicians Awolowo himself inclusive. So it wasn't as a result of any Edo Or Bini struggles ok? Go read Nigeria's Political History and stop spewing thrash here! That's one of Nigeria's major problems, most of us have a very short memory when it comes to our History as a Nation. So my dear young man, stop bragging and use dat COCONUT u call a head for ONCE! GOOD day! USELESS BIGOT! I guess the only BUFFOON or USELESS BIGOT or COCONUT HEAD in this discourse is you, sir. The issue of MIDWESTERN region had already begun before the political fallout between Awolowo and Akintola that led to the indictment of treason on the former. The agitation of MIDWESTERN region was never as a result of “fall out of the 1962 treasonable felony case against some South West politicians Awolowo himself inclusive” as you have indicated in the above post, should I say a crap. |

LasgidyPort: Abba’s sack illegal- Falana
http://thenationonlineng.net/new/falana-abbas-sack-illegal/
Lagos lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) has condemned the sack of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Suleiman Abba. He described Abba’s removal as “illegal and unconstitutional”.
“It is a contravention of sectin 216 (2) of the 1999 constitution, which states that ‘before removing the IG form office, the President shall consult the Nigeria Police Council’.
“Since the council, whose members include the 36 State Governors, was not consulted, Mr. Abba’s sack is null and void. It should be rescinded forthwith,” Falana said. I say without equivocation that most Nigerians are phony. Even few individuals that parade themselves as the so-called (SAN) are moronically idiotic. One wonders if the bolded on the above post is the only section in the 1999 constitution that dealt with the sacking of IGP by the president. |

Holadpearl: when it comes to contesting for elections in Lagos,or claiming land rights,or shop allocations in Abuja, Kano or so to say our south eastern and south southern brothers understood one Nigeria. but with any disadvantage position, instead of looking for a way to maximize patronage and gain from the status quo, they cry disintegration, lets split. They don't have the patience and tenacity to hang around the corridors of power while devising means to one day, gain it. This reminds me of the Jews and blacks in diaspora(story for other time) must I remind them that the SS presidency just concluded is not as a result of quality of their politics but Providence and a certain southwesterner, if they continue like this ,I don't see them ruling this country again(my opinion though) .The southwest is always at the corridor of power, claiming it when the opportunity arise and remaining calm if in opposition, believing it will come again, the SW cry for been marginalized is a cry for inclusion not disintegration, hope our Northern,SS and SE brothers learn from this, instead of the cry for war from both sides of the divide. oppovo noppoda. The bolded in above crap is one reason among many reasons Nigeria seems to produce ill-educated adults and had been labeled a toast of illogicality. What election contest in Lagos, claim of land rights or shop allocations in Abuja and Kano are the writer on about? And how do these silly scenarios compliment the so-called disadvantage position the writer seemed to address? I had liked the writer if he or she could indulge in more elaboration than he or she has done in the above sketch. Let me remind the writer that South-east has always and will continue to ask for level playing field in Nigeria. I do know Nigerians have no use for historical facts. If they did, the utterances of Buhari, few northern region elders and Oba of Lagos would have reminded them the reason Nigeria was visited with a civil war. |

Discovers, Inventors, Astronomers, Premier Physicists, Theorists and Originators.
Why hasn't there been a Nobel Prize winning scientist on the Black side of Africa?
Are we saying that we have no such geniuses?
Why do we tend to lean towards seemingly "se..xier" and right brained paths to glory: i.e. arts, movies, business?
Is this a root problem for Africans? A natural aversion to challenging the status quo and generally unscientific minds?
Correct me if I am wrong - can anyone name foremost Black AFRICAN names in the sciences. Nigerians, Ghanaians, Kenyans, etc? You woke up very late from your slumber. Africans are neither scientific nor otherwise. |

Amazo: With all due respect to the living and dead, mentioning Chinua Achebe (whose claim to prominence is mainly as a successful novelist) as the smartest Nigerian is not only dumb but an insult to Nigeria at large. Even in the world of literature, with all his literary prowess (and no one can deny him this), he still couldn't win a Nobel prize in literature, but guess what, Wole Soyinka is a Nobel laureate. So even, in the Nigerian literary sphere, Achebe was really good but not the best. He might have sold more books (Things Fall Apart) but quality and quantity are different dimensional entities.
Kanu Nwankwo / Jay Jay Okocha as the most popular Nigerians? This in itself is totally laughable. Even Dbanj alone is popular than these two combined I suggest you dwell on something more tangible than the socio-politically induced Nobel prize. No wonder Africans are considered inferior since they cannot identify themselves from a mirror. |

ibrahimdoc: You Can't Insult Northerners and Stay in Power -Kwankwaso;-
Kano state governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso on Monday spoke on why President Goodluck Jonathan lost re-election.
According to DAILY POST, Kwankwaso said, ''He (Jonathan) didn’t know who is who in this country; he was just looking at faces and those who were dressed very well. He meets them at the airport and he smiles and says ‘these are good people,’ he sits down and listens to gossips, ‘oh this man is bad, this man is good in so so places’ and sometimes he doesn’t even know the names and at the end of the day he made a big mistake by picking the wrong people.
''Our leaders who were in this game before us, those who were in the 1st Republic especially, told us so much about our friends in this country and if you happen to come from South South, where they were very close to our leaders, they had done everything possible to work with that part of the country. But of course (Jonathan) misused the opportunity to the extent that many of us felt that with him there, we have no future as a people and as individuals and that is why we had to come and organise ourselves to defeat him.
''Look at what the wife was saying that northerners were bearing children and throwing them away. How could you say that to northerners? With due humility, we are masters of the game. You cannot stay and insult us and get away with it. Democracy is a game of numbers, whether you are almajiri or professor, everybody has one vote; that was why we went back and put almijiris together to get about two million votes.” But Mr. GEJ had stayed in power and maybe insulted the north for six years. Does this dumbass what GEJ to stay in power forever? What a dullard. |
