rawdpiper: So u can get that kind of speed from ntel on boom j8!!!!. From the screen shot i can only see one Sim being represented on ur notification screen. Is it the single Sim variant u bought or you just inserted only ntel Sim? There is no single SIM variant of j8. I inserted only an ntel sim. |

elvisco44: my speed as at 1.40 a.m was upto 3.1mb/s using ucweb on mobile connected to huawei E5372 mifi. speed throttle is real ntel issue cuz av tried iy wit 3 diff 4G devices including VOLTE camon c5. even my new sim i collected not up2 a wk is havin same problm even down to 50kb/s. for me, ucweb and IDM download speed is true measure of netwk speed not dat speedtest dat wil show 20mb/s but u cant pass 2mb/s in real download speed with IDM. my peak speed with ntel using ucweb download ws abt 6mb/s arnd wuse zone 6 abj. 2mnths ago Time will tell exactly what's going on. For now, they claim it's network problem. But how can network problem linger for more than a week now? Don't they have qualified network engineers who can handle such issues, given the huge investment they've made on the network? |

DropShot: Kid, you can name your pet as you wish and there won't be any issue if it's done in good taste. But when you do it in bad taste, as in this case where there is a feud btw those involved, the Hausa man has a right to object. Here, it was done to ridicule the man. Context and intention matter. Get exposure! You have time to argue with these fools sha. Their hypocrisy is out of this world. Just imagine a northerner who lives in anambra, naming his dog Obiano, and then inscribing it on both sides of the dog's body. There would be serious outcry. Worse would be done to him. |

Stanley08: They aren't deliberately throttling. They have acknowledged that there is a problem with the network and have said they are working to fix it. It's just taking too long. Had 2 bars since today and i got 1MB/s to 2MB/s while downloading. I've been able to do 12GB today alone. My own is purely network reception. With more bars, i get higher speed. And I'm not even paying lol. toluxa1: This morning Oh, i see. I hope they get it resolved as soon as possible. |

Stanley08: When did you buy ur sim? If it's over 90 days, ur data test drive period is over. They have always said that they will throttle ur speed after the first 90 days. Maybe u didn't do ur research well.
Just buy a new SIM. Better still, wait for the network to get relatively better, then buy a new SIM. Cheers You obviously didn't comprehend my comment before quoting me. I said the speed gets throttled even without downloading. Originally, they said, after the first 90 days, speed would be throttled if one consumes up to 3gb in peak period. Cumulatively, i haven't used up to 500mbs since last Thursday because of the slow speed. I have since stopped downloading because of the frustrating slow speed. By the way, i acquired this sim in June, so it hasn't been up to 90 days yet. And i still insist that it's not network issue. ntel is deliberately throttling everyone. |

ican2020: Thank God that I did not waste 36k to buy their router.
I have been using Ntel for sometime now, there service was okay initially but my last subscription last week Friday was a total waste of money. It took me almost five solid hours to install office 365 online, but judging by their past performance, I could have completed this in less than 45 minutes.
I pray they fix their connection issues fast or many naija will port From my observations, it isn't a network issue. ntel is just throttling the speed for no reason at all. The speed throttling implementation starts early in the morning, and then normal speed is restored late in the midnight, and this happens whether you download or not. It's extremely frustrating. This is a network that is new on the block, yet has started misbehaving, frustrating its early users. |

I don't want to believe that I'm the only one experiencing this slow download speed of 200kb/s and below, where as i use to get 6mb/s upwards? It seems ntel is deliberately throttling speed these days whether you download or not. |

omogidi234: Hello Nairalanders, hope our night was splendid. Ok well, I am not APC or PDP. I am just going to make a comment as a practitioner of the law, Ok, when the Port Harcourt judgment came in the morning yesterday, we were trying to dissect it and it made sense. A colleague was also in Justice Abang's court giving us updates on several other cases that were of interest to us including in a case where Justice Abang fined a SAN the sum of N50,000 for wasting the time of the court. Apparently the judge had a filled day because it was like evening time his judgment hit the news.
It appears to me that one of the times he took recess, he was informed that his brother at Port Harcourt (Justice Watila) had given an order to PDP to go ahead with the convention.
I will try and paste both Judgments later cause I am still studying both. But the anger of Justice Abang according to that judgment is that Senator Ben Obi is before him in Abuja, the same Ben Obi ran to Justice Watila to cunningly obtain an order. Justice Abang feels it an abuse of court process.
It is left for PDP to approach the Court of Appeal as a matter of urgency otherwise the AG might decides to follow Justice Abang's Order.
Apologies for the long story & Many thanks. You seem to be the only one who has made a sensible comment on this matter. The emboldened is actually the true situation of things, but partisan politics wouldn't allow pdp supporters to understand that. |

This judge's rulings are always very logical. I think he is one of the best judges at the moment. “What is the reason for rushing to another court when the court is already seized of this matter?
He also described Obi’s action as “unfortunate and unlawful”.
He added, “I want to point out that a court of coordinate jurisdiction cannot make an order that will neutralise the proceedings of this court.
“The Port Harcourt Division of this court cannot make an order to neutralise the proceedings of this court.
He said he was therefore inclined to granting the interim order suspending the convention in exercise of his “disciplinary jurisdiction” in order to maintain the integrity of the court. |
