I read Omojuwa's tweet. It said, "There are parts of Nigeria". He didn't mention Igboland or East, so why do you think he's specifically talking about SE? |
wittydee:You were supposed to choose a specific Area, Estate address, not just Lagos Nigeria, that was the mistake you did. And you weren't paying attention to the message on the screen, otherwise you would have realized that you were depositing for future availability for the address you chose. Take a look at the two screenshots below and see the difference. I am not sure, but i think you can ask for a refund of the deposit, then go ahead and order again.
|
dustmalik:UPDATE! My card has been credited with the refund. The whole process was painless and very fast. This is excellent customer service by Starlink. The last tracking update on the returned Starlink kit showed it was still in Lagos this morning. |
OP, we dash LP all the APC votes in Rivers and Lagos, LP still won't catch up. So what's the point? Obi could never have won this election, no matter how you look at it. Take a second look at his numbers in the core north, he did very poorly. Obi will be wasting his time and money going to court. |
Penguin2:People like you have still not come to terms with the fact that this past election has been won and lost, and you are a loser. Emefiele will be dealt with, it's just a matter of time. I look forward to your shouts of dictatorship when shit hits the fan 😂😂😂 |
I find it interesting that, even though Starlink hasn't received the returned kit, since I shipped it out today, yet it has already processed the refund. Now I just have to wait for my card issuer to credit my card. Hopefully, it doesn't take long.

ibawon:I may probably reorder in the future. |
ibawon:My brother, I had to return my Starlink. It was really frustrating me. I strongly believe mine was a defective one. The dish, I believe, was the problem. It looked used. On delivery, It was very dusty and had markings on it like it's been used. The cable and router looked very new though. The good thing about Starlink is that, if you are not satisfied with it and you are still within the 30day window, you can easily return and ask for a refund, and that was what I did. The whole process doesn't take more than 5 minutes. I simply cancelled my subscription and ticked the option of returning my hardware. I was sent a confirmation of my cancellation immediately via mail, and I was informed that eligiblity of hardware return is being checked. Within 3 minutes, I received another mail that contains the RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization), it also contains the waybill and the supplementary document to printout and attach to the Starlink pack. I have returned the package to DHL. It should get to Starlink latest Wednesday. So, once Starlink receives the package, they inspect it to make sure everything is in order. Then the refund process begins. |
racerve:Nigeria, which is in Northern hemisphere, the Starlink dish defaults to the North, so find a position on your roof that gives a clear view of the skies without any obstruction, especially to the North. You can use a digital compass to find the North position in your location even before your Starlink arrives. That gives you an idea as to where to place the dish. |
Emefiele may likely end up in jail |
ibawon:Contrary to what some people believe, a lot of Nigerians are ordering Starlink. In fact, the day mine was delivered, there were 6 other Starlink in the DHL delivery van, plus some other Starlink accessories. |
Stanley08:There are no obstructions in view, according to the app. |
The sky is very clear, so I shouldn't be having these challenges
|
The 2s+ tab is even worse
|
Stanley08:No, it hasn't. I suspect the dish. The performance has been woeful as well. Getting 100Mbps is very difficult. I may have to open a complaint ticket very soon
|
tenpipsperday:It worked for me, can't speak to its reliability. |
Stanley08:I guess some locations experience more outages than others due to certain activities. |
seunpayne:Could you post the link to the Twitter posts on this issue? I suspect mine might be a Dish defect problem |
Stanley08:Thanks. Please check the 0.1s+ tab, the one to the left. |
ibawon:You will probably receive the Shipped notification within the next two days. I ordered on the 11th, received the notification on the 21st. The Starlink got to DHL's office in Abuja on the 24th, and delivered on the 27th. If I was residing in Lagos, I would gotten it on the 23rd. |
seunpayne:😂😂😂 I am not sure why it is happening though. But I noticed I have only had one outage, which was less than a second, due to obstruction, for the past 43minutes since I rebooted the Starlink dish. So you might want to suggest to those users to reboot their Starlink, not the WiFi router. EDIT: Unfortunately, I am still having those outages. I need someone to confirm if this happens without rainfall or bad weather.
|
Stanley08:We haven't experienced rainfall in Abuja since Saturday. |
Stanley08:I did but the experience, so far, hasn't been the best. I hardly get 200Mbps down. I am not sure if it is my location, given that there are little obstructions around me and there is really no way of placing the dish any better. However, I do get certain outages that I am not sure if it's normal. Attached is a screenshot I took just now of the outages. Though i installed it yesterday night. Hopefully, it gets better overtime.
|
Stanley08:Thanks. Will do just that |
If he is arrested now, people will start shouting |
garfield1:I was really surprised when I saw the result |
garfield1:Is the Plateau result real? LP got over 1.1 million |
NothingDoMe:He deserves an answer from you, not a question. I am not Yoruba, but from Kogi. I have often wondered why the Igbos hate Tinubu so much. So, just like the other poster, can you tell us why the Igbos hate Tinubu with so much vile? |
Stanley08:👍 I am expecting mine this morning. The elections delayed the delivery. |
Was the speedtest done using 5ghz? |
OP, you are not seeing the BIG picture, are you? Tinubu is your next president |
