CaSttLe: Why Ozo is Ozo and not what you want?
Calm, reserved, kind, respectful, good leader, patient, smart .... I’m very sure if Ozo was awake the day Erica got out of hands, there’s a probability she will still remain in the house. Immediately the next morning, he advised her to apologize to people she offended. He always cares for people in the house; Wathoni, Tolanibaj and co testified. I know most people find his love attitude towards Nengi very irritating but tbvh he is a mix of Nigerian and western lifestyle so he is showing it different from what we all are used to here. He treats Nengi as a queen and I’m sure if he leaves on Sunday (God forbid) she will feel it deeply. Ozo is a perfect gentleman; watch his moves, opening doors for the ladies, standing up up for them to sit and offering help at any slightest opportunity. Everyone expected the playboy narrative from him but so bad he turned you guys down. He definitely knows he is handsome, exposed but never let it get to his head. He treats everyone with so much love, respect and sometimes wonder why the so much hate from the viewers. In the house he made a quick evaluation of everyone and found out that only Nengi fits his personality and that’s why they are really close but you feel he is follow follow because of Kayode. He isn’t confrontational and that’s why he complains less, he doesn’t gossip and that’s why he has less friends, calm...They say he has lost focus but if you watch him during tasks or HOH games he brings his A game. There are many negative things people have said concerning Nengi to him but he always follows his mind. The most loving thing about him is his loyalty. Once you tell him something, he will never snitch on you. He will never put his winnings on your face and always encourage others to do better. Ozo is nothing but a nice human being and I wish we all have his person in our lives. I’ve so much followed the show and I can confirm, he is living his reality.-Witchersunited
Vote Ozo Great analysis. I don't know if its correct but at least I understand him a bit better now. I used to watch the show back when it was just BB South Africa, but stopped after some years. Now thanks to NL, I follow vicariously and pick up bits and pieces from such as you have done. Well appreciated. You be big man otherwise I for dash you 1k airtime. Well done. |

Hathor5: I have also made the observation that women often get it twisted as to what guys want and focus too much on meeting some beauty standards propagated by the media. I also believe that there are so many beautiful women out there that beauty is something easily available and it therefore becomes less impressive because everything that is easily available tends to lose its value.
But then, I also see how flashy girls receive more attention and compliments and how natural girls are insulted and sometimes even made a mockery of on social media, often for the way God created them, which I think is devastating and sad.
I am glad you have come to value inner qualities but what if you could find a beauty queen with a good character? Would you remain loyal? I would. Is that you? |

jesusjnr2020: Those who truly know God, know that if there are any real contradictions in the Bible, it has absolutely nothing to do with God but everything to do with man. Perfection is a quality of God. Its difficult to believe that a perfect being could communicate something so crucial imperfectly. Perfection begets perfection. This is the real issue. |

Fastestmanalive: Messi simply isn't captain material.
A true captain would have inspired his team to go on and win the match. I saw none of that in Messi.
That's not to say he isn't a good player though. Who is the true captain you have seen win every match? While I agree that Messi may not be the most effective leader, give him a break. Also consider the off pitch struggles he has had with the board and put it in context. |

Travel › Re: If You Are Given The Oppurtunity To Travel Abroad Where Would You Go? by Dyonne: 8:18pm On Aug 12, 2020 |
nextstep: You may be right, but consider:
Nigerians who make it here can travel abroad every 2, 3 months (albeit dealing with no light, etc, which you can overcome with money) Nigerians living in USA are lucky to travel abroad every 2 years. Though they're comfortable, theirs is a life of debts, bills, and taxes.
I kinda prefer the first option, and the money I would have spent to go and start living abroad could be put to so much better use here. Not exactly. How much is a flight to Nigeria that someone cannot come back. The only problem is bills when you return. This one has problem with house rent, that one cannot pay school fees, gifts everywhere, drinks for boys, drinks for elders etc. One can still chest the bills but it's not an undertaking you want to commit to frequently. |

Hintona: Please this is serious, I'm very confused right, also I wonder if this is a phase It's not a big deal. I had a girlfriend who would purposely try to get me jealous and when I dont react, she would accuse me of not loving her. Having a possessive partner might seem like its somewhat romantic but beware of the likely effects. That partner continues to obsess over you until you begin to feel restricted. This is where a lot of relationships break down. The same possessiveness that was cute in the beginning has become a milestone on the neck. As for your reaction to possessiveness, its neither here nor there. It may turn you on which isnt a bad thing or it may make you feel some other way. Doesnt matter. What does matter is your actions, not your feelings. As long as your actions are rational, you're good to go. |

XhosaNostra: I don't see anything wrong with some of these, tbh. Eg. Telling him he's the only guy etc. Being the only guy doesn't mean it's a permanent position (I'll unseat you) or there's no other viable candidate. If this is how guys think, then they're in for a surprise. That article is trash. Take these things with a pinch of salt. Years ago I saw an article in Cosmo about ways to pleasure a man. It was written by a woman and if the instructions are followed, there is no way the man's appendage can ever rise to the occasion after that. It read more like torture than pleasure and as a man, I had to wonder where on earth this writer got her ideas from, if she had ever interacted intimately with a man. This writer is just some hack, much like the ones we have on this forum writing rubbish and posing as experts. |

The men marry village girls till date, thinking they can control the village wives imported to abroad.
And I laugh at their foolishness.
Even in Nigeria here, some husbands are adocating their wives gives them their paycheck every month.
One unfortunate useless banker while courting me in the past says, every money I make in my company will be paid into his account when we get married. Do I agree or not?
I laughed and looked at him, then I asked him? Where were u when I was struggling to build my biz? Because of dangling marriage like a carrot in my face, u think I'm so desperate to hand over my life savings to u?

naptu2: Think about this. Hushpuppi has been living a lavish lifestyle for years. Remember that he was in Malaysia for years and he was posing with his illegally gotten wealth all that time, but he wasn't arrested. Why was he arrested now and why is he only being prosecuted for these crimes (what about the crimes that he committed back then?) Because he scammed people who complained to the authorities, the authorities investigated and were able to trace the crimes to him and that's why he was arrested. While your point is valid, you have to agree that his exposure on social media made the job of law enforcement easier. |

Wealth isn't about money, it's a state of mind. Poverty is also a state of mind. A mad man roaming about the streets isn't poor.
When you feel the need to lord it over people with your possessions, you are very far from rich. Work hard, invest smartly and be content with the fruits of your labour. |
Crime › Re: Exposition On Hushpuppi, Flashy Lifestyle Of A Society Of Nobody Holy Pass by Dyonne: 3:05pm On Jul 04, 2020 |
Fucsheetup: Honor my dad? That threw my siblings out because he couldn’t find his soya milk then later found it when his teenage children were already halfway to their grandparents house? The same one that wears expensive shoes, watches, clothes while his children looked like beggars? The same one ate at fast food restaurants while his family starved at home? The who beat his wife till HE ran away when the rent expires? And you call me irresponsible, you are too old for assumptions.
My dad is a hypocrite Pastor, very religious like you when it comes to stupid things other like your advancement.
I am not religious or a theist, neither am Christian. I myself am matter, therefore I need material things. I will die and leave it all, but I would rather not have left nothing.
I am the most generous person around, I stopped my life for my junior ones and everyone loves for me for it. And what does my generosity concern you, will you join me in jail when I get nabbed or did you commit high profile crime that automatically you are entitled to my money. Did anyone ‘lift’ me up that I am obligated to lift anyone up? Rather they always put me down. I am a woman, second class citizen of Nigeria. Nigeria. A failed country where only the criminals get rich.
I don’t care about the lives of a million people, a million don’t care about mine. For Example, the people in my government.. For Every Hushpuppi caught, a million more are walking in guise of private companies. Not all criminals get caught, many are role models to the youth in your society.
Yes. He would do it all over again than ever come back to your state of existence, rich people would rather commit suicide than go back ground zero.
So much bitterness in one person. You cannot claim to be generous and prefer one million people to suffer in order for you to be comfortable. About honoring your dad, you made a comment about him refusing to soil his hands. That is commendable. If you didn't want anyone to make assumptions you could have included more information. You seem to think being rich is about money. It's not. It's a state of mind. Hushpuppi was never rich until he could show off and oppress others. That's why he is where he is. This is a crucial life lesson for you and while I dont expect you to agree with it at the moment, keep it at the back of your mind. Hopefully one day, it will make sense to you and you can correct your steps. |

The biggest problem is that things like this actually make it look like there is an argument or debate about who is better between the two footballers.
In reality, CR7 is nowhere in Messi's league or class. While he is an extraordinary player, Messi by far outclasses him.
Generations from now, our kids and grandchildren not affected by club sentiments will ask us why we ever thought to compare the two.
Just like when my brother asked me what was so special about Rambo, what was so scary about Willy Willy or what I saw in The Sound of Music. |

Fucsheetup: If I am offered 500mnaira contract/bribe like it was offered to my dad, who refused to ’soil‘ his hands and is still living in relative poverty... I will kill a million people to get it.
KUDOS, the title of most honorable man will be written on your grave head This is the most irresponsible thing I've heard this week. Honor your dad who chose to live honorably rather than hurt a million people. Money is not everything because there is not enough money in the world to satisfy a fellow like you. Choosing for a million people to suffer so you can enjoy yourself is plain evil. History is replete with people like that and we all know how it tends to end. If we check now, you're probably a christian or some type of theist but so focused on material concerns. The kind of person who chooses for people to suffer in order to attain wealth is unlikely to lift people up when he attains such wealth. What is the point in having much when people around you have little? I wonder what Hushpuppi thinks now. Was it worth it for him in the end? |
