PoliticsRe: Who Is Afraid Of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo? By Dele Momodu by EagleNest(m): 5:45am On Sep 22, 2019
All of them need to leave the stage for a more serious and hardworking person to lead Nigeria.

Osibanjo, elrufai, Tinubu, Amechi, Tambuwal, Atiku or cabals are not what Nigeria needs in 2023 but an outsider who can steer the ship away from the current disasters of government.

I think Adeshina (AfDB) or Peter Obi could turn Nigeria around, if you ask me.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Why Nigerians Hate The Igbos – Chinua Achebe by EagleNest(m): 9:15am On Sep 21, 2019
Culturally Igbos are quite distinct from Hausa and Yoruba and this kind of built them to be natural survivalists. Regardless of what faced them...somehow like a rubber they find a way to bounce back. This cultural strength made them more daring and competitive. They can tell off anyone regardless of position or accomplishment in life, even to themselves.

The colonial ogas didn't find Igbos easy to conquer and dominate, due to that cultural default that abhors centralised lordship.

Nevertheless, they are imperfect too especially in managing success. It enters the head, which I think also comes naturally unless you have trained self not to, but it is not fair to rub it on others face, because it will provoke envy and hatred. Maybe it is one of the reasons Igbos have not fared well in building political relationship with the west or North
PoliticsRe: MC Oluomo UNILAG Invitation And The Outrage: Jimoh Buhari Reacts by EagleNest(m): 7:48am On Sep 21, 2019
The guy is twisting it. It has nothing to do with his lack of education, after all Buhari is not too versed as well but he is currently Nigeria president.

It is more of his character, personality and what he represents that's the problem. It is what made him who he is but also unfortunately is detestable regardless of how he would have wished otherwise.
EducationRe: UNILAG Speaks On MC Oluomo’s Invitation To Campus Event by EagleNest(m): 7:35am On Sep 21, 2019
The value system in Nigeria has gone with the wings.

What were the Geography students thinking when making the decision for Oluomo to be the guest speaker. Was it money or sponsorship they lacked? What do they want to learn from him in the first place?

How about inviting established and successful transport companies and brands rather than someone who thrives in violence and thuggery.

And if I am asked to speak in such occasion and realise that Oluomo is invited too, I will simply decline. We Must cultivate and nurture values!
CelebritiesRe: Daddy Freeze Reacts To Gracious David-West Bible & Church Wrist Bands by EagleNest(m): 7:17am On Sep 21, 2019
I believe Daddy Freeze's knowledge of bible is mainly for argumentative purposes.

Was Judas Ischariot not among the eleven that was chosen by Christ himself and what happened to him?
PoliticsRe: Profile Of Members of Buhari's New Economic Advisory Council by EagleNest(m): 2:53pm On Sep 17, 2019
Why can't Nigeria get one of these ones to be President instead of giving advise. Will the President heed to their advise? The current president has a history of not listening or feeling the people.
PoliticsRe: FFK Tells President Buhari What To Do With Letter Of Apology From South Africa by EagleNest(m): 2:45pm On Sep 17, 2019
Why is a former honourable minister talking like this?
PoliticsRe: FFK Tells President Buhari What To Do With Letter Of Apology From South Africa by EagleNest(m): 2:45pm On Sep 17, 2019

PoliticsRe: Seun Onigbinde: My Resignation Has Nothing To Do With Bashing I Received Online by EagleNest(m): 2:36pm On Sep 17, 2019
He goofed by joining the same govt that he criticised massively.

Resignation is only face saving bc the deed is done already.

This was how Reuben Abati falled many people hands when he joined GEJ govt that he was lampooning left and right.

Is it that critics don't have honour anymore?
PoliticsRe: ECOWAS Appeals To Nigeria To Reopen Borders   by EagleNest(m): 2:04pm On Sep 17, 2019
They would have closed this border even before election. I have never seen a country with such a relaxed border security as Nigeria. All sorts of elements go in and outof the border unhindered.
PoliticsRe: FG Raises VAT To 7.2%. To Seek National Assembly Approval by EagleNest(m): 6:19am On Sep 12, 2019
If Nigerians are not happy about the increase, then what are they waiting...go and protest peacefully or suck it in silently.
PoliticsRe: DSS: Some Individuals And Groups Are Plotting To Set Nigeria On Fire by EagleNest(m): 11:55pm On Sep 09, 2019

They already know the fake verdict of the tribunal and are just testing the waters . Most dishonest govt ever ...Nobody will cause any trouble we have since left you people to the wrath of God .. The Wrath of God is Coming !!!!
Well said fella and it will happen that way bc this govt is all about propaganda and lies.
Christianity EtcRe: Benny Hinn Takes Swipe At Nigerian Prosperity Preachers Describes Act As A Trick by EagleNest(m): 10:07pm On Sep 08, 2019
May be it is a little bit too late. The deed is done. I had thought it was only me that was uncomfortable with the way churches was going about with demands for money. I was wondering how this relates to how Christ worked at His own time on earth.
PoliticsRe: I Have Lived In South Africa For Almost 20 Years. Hear Is My Experience by EagleNest(m): 5:12am On Sep 08, 2019
ImperialYoruba:
This is the third account Im getting about the reality on ground. The two others are by independent sources. SAfricans have been issuing warnings a long time about Nigerians commiting crimes in their country. On social media if you identify as Nigerian in a South African circle they start to attack you right away but once you say you are Yoruba they calm down. Which to me says they know the criminal Nigerians. Like the op said their community vigilantes had probably become fed up and took self-help action to save communities from Ibos infesting their communities with crimes but it resulted in mob action and widespread attacks on everyone not SA.

Even here in Nigeria, Yoruba leaders have warned that you are toxic to our culture but their respect for law stops them from evicting you. In North Hausa/Fulani also have spoken up about your toxicity to their environment and because they are non-chalant about civil law or constitution, they backed it up with Kaduna Declaration, insisting all Ibos must vacate North.

In Ghana they know Ibo and don't like you. In Gabon few years ago children were dissapearing from different communities. They tracked it down to Nigerians living in their countries, and specifically Ibos. Once in a while the grab-and-go fails and the kidnapper is caught. Everytime its an Ibo.

We are tired of curse on our land. The SA are also tired and want cleansing. You Ibos are making living anywhere in the world and identifying as a Nigerian a risk for our lives. When people rise up against you we are involuntarily caught in the fracas.
Stop painting a gory pictures of Igbos with this your nonsense writeup. For your mind even Satan is an Igbo but you won't want Igbos to part way with you in peace.
CrimeRe: Lawrence Igbero: Policeman Killed By Kidnappers In Rivers State, Corpse Found by EagleNest(m): 10:14am On Sep 07, 2019
When policemen are no longer safe what then is the fate of bloody civilians? Is there an end in sight for the current security challenges?
CelebritiesRe: Uche Jombo Queries Nigerian Senators On Receiving N1.2m As Hardship Allowance by EagleNest(m): 6:39am On Sep 06, 2019
These are some of the things Nigerians should begin to fight for.
PoliticsRe: Why Fayemi, El-rufai Are Attending WEF Despite Fg’s Boycott – Onyeama by EagleNest(m): 3:59am On Sep 06, 2019
And madam Oby was vilified for attending even as a private citizen as she cried out. And we were not told that there were even bigger elephants already in SA who were repenting govt. Why is APC like this? Does it mean that the diplomatic tit for tat from Nig govt was an after thought, apparently because Nigerians were bitterly unhappy with the whole situation?
SportsRe: Lukaku's Monkey Chants Was A Form Of "Respect" And Not "Racist"- Inter Fans by EagleNest(m): 6:41am On Sep 05, 2019
What sort of twisting of plot is this and how is it that monkey chant is the only chant that can serve this special purpose? Do they sing the same chant to whites? Lukaku should never fall for this.
PoliticsRe: Oby Ezekwesili Reacts As Nigerians Attack Her For Attending World Economic Forum by EagleNest(m): 9:53pm On Sep 04, 2019
She made a terrible mistake by going there thinking she will bring this kind of excuse. She lost it and it is regretfull.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Hail Buhari On Recall Of Ambassador To South Africa Over Xenophobia by EagleNest(m): 9:29pm On Sep 04, 2019
A welcomed development.
PoliticsRe: Xenophobia: Nigerians Attack Oby For Attending World Economic Forum In S'Africa by EagleNest(m): 9:26pm On Sep 04, 2019
Game over! Why would she step her foot to SA for WEF summit when the same SA are not welcoming to her people. Terrible mistake I guess.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Silent Because Most Nigerians Killed In South Africa Are Igbos – Omokri by EagleNest(m): 8:12am On Sep 04, 2019
Why is Reno tribalising the killings of Nigerians in SA. How does it help anyone? Not a reasonable talk at all.
Foreign AffairsRe: Rwanda, DRC And Malawi Pull Out From WEF Africa Holding In South Africa by EagleNest(m): 7:23am On Sep 04, 2019
SA seems to be suffering from post apathied syndrome. A classical text book example of paying good with evil to all African Nations that helped in the fight against apathied regime.
SportsRe: Xenophobia: Zambia Cancels International Friendly Game With S’africa by EagleNest(m): 7:16am On Sep 04, 2019
Nigeria should start boycotting everything SA until this injustice is addressed.

Boycott the services of MTN, DSTV, Shoprite, etc, until SA govt take measures to address this calculated insanity.

You know you its a pipe dream which position? if there is a position befitting of a low life like joe i will suggest they create for him a sub unit for human excrement evacuation
Take it easy Bros. This life is unpredictable sometimes. You never can tell.
PoliticsRe: Joe Igbokwe Cleaning Gutter In Lagos As He Begins Work (Photos) by EagleNest(m): 6:50am On Sep 01, 2019
If he is the one in picture, somehow I like his openness in accepting the task regardless of how humbling it could be, but who knows...it could be a disguised test of a bigger position to come...I hope I am not daydreaming!
PoliticsRe: To The Deaf, Osinbajo Is Silent by EagleNest(m): 6:06am On Sep 01, 2019
Even the real deaf and dump know that Nigeria is in limbo. It doesn't require satire to pass the message.

PoliticsRe: Shocking: Unity School Cut Off Mark..zamfara 2..anambra 139 by EagleNest(m): 4:54am On Aug 23, 2019
A textbook example of a factor holding Nigeria backward is Quota System! It gives the less qualified undue advantage over the most qualified. What a paradox!
PoliticsRe: Blunt Truth To My Northerners by EagleNest(m): 7:04am On Aug 21, 2019
For the first time someone from the North has shaken off the long drowsy feelings that all that matters in the North is being in centre of power. The ops writeup is a clarion call to all good and sane Northerners to open their eyes to see how bad the politicians and religious leaders have forced them to remain in abject poverty of mind, soul and body. You are right when you said competition would have been better than quota system. Yes, of course! Quota system builds lazy society but competition brings innovation, creativity and ideas.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Assembly Denies Three Nominees, Confirms Omotoso, Igbokwe by EagleNest(m): 5:36am On Aug 20, 2019
Both the Governor and State Assembly are in Tinubu's pocket. I'm sorry that's how it is in Lagos. He has a "Very Big Say" in who becomes commissioner or the two mentioned entity above go hearam during reelection.
PoliticsRe: “we Defeated IBB And Abacha, We Won’t Allow Another Dictator” — Femi Falana by EagleNest(m): 5:09am On Aug 20, 2019
Since when did Falana become a turn coat, I thought he was surreptitiously supporting Buhari as per "herd" mentality of average Nigerian. It seems his eyes has opened a little bit. That man in Aso Rock is not for listening, in fact he doest give a hoot.
