Cultism is evil. |
For me, why can't people like this who have shown integrity beyond Nigeria standard, not be pushed to lead the country. We need reformers and performers combined in one. Not pretenders. |
If you don't stand up to bullies they will never let you have peace. Ambode missed the golden opportunity while he was still governor. |
Make them no carry all our pension money and throw into capital market. They should first clean it up to be more transparent and then it will attract investors all around by itself. |
An amazon indeed. A light in darkness. Rest in perfect peace. |
Women sef. So you went there again? |
kokomaster3d:Me too don't understand his money source. EFCC should find out for us. |
Akinsoladwayne:If we can all start asking this question I think Nigeria will start turning for good. Many of them just burst into the scene without any track of legitimate source of money. |
This is a case of inherently criminal minded individual. Very very crooked person. |
At your age you still dey lie. |
This man simplicity is amazing! |
Stop calling these men pastors. They are Not. |
How did they become pastors? And are they still pastors? |
No wonder nothing works in Nigeria. These men swear allegiance to evil spirits for protection and they end up being wicked and evil. A aaaahh! Does that include Osibanjo? He is a pastor. He won't be doing such things. |
EFCC seems to have resurrected from death. More and more please. |
Good idea but the best is to fully restructure Nigeria to functional regions or federation units and decentralise the power at the centre. Also decentralise the police force. Reduce the number of political parties. |
Man's weakness is woman and woman's strength is man. It has been like that for ages unless you are extraordinary. But don't go and preach if you cannot practice what you preach. Your word is your honour. Don't let it fall on ground. That's how the cookie crumble for Mr. Lecturer. |
Very good move. May be they could cut more slacks and just leave it at 7 political parties. This will allow for more dynamics and flexibilities. Independent party should be allowed too for people that choose to be alone instead of going through political parties to vie for electoral positions. Thinking loud, a referendum should also be planned and conducted to reduce the number of senators/HOR. This will cut cost and trim off over bloated legislative arm of government. |
"Love your neighbour as yourself" saith Jesus Christ. That means show equal love to your neighbour as you will do to yourself. Why then do relatives expect you to show more love to them than you will do to yourself. It's sad how they capitalise on someone's sincere love to help, and turn it to a heavy burden. An ATM that never lacks money. They hardly thought about your welfare but about themselves. Help of yesterday suddenly becomes invalid until new one is meet. And the cycle continues. Endless cycle that leads to poverty and death! God punish poverty! |
Ojukwu is dead. Let's not dissipate energy conjuring the unrealistic and unimaginables. Let the living Igbos of today fight for themselves which I think they are doing. |
There is no contradiction at all in both teachings. It is very simple unless you choose to complicate it. "Forgive others just as God has demonstrated to you as an example, by forgiving you through Christ",...how is this complicated? And what Paul was saying on Faith and Work, is similar thing as demonstrated in the encounter between Christ and the rich young ruler. When he was told the more difficult aspect of his belief he become sorrowful because that will indeed be a big faith shaker. Work is a product of Faith or put in another way, work is faith in action. The more you put your faith to action the more it increases with more revelations beyond what you think you know before. Peter also experienced this later in his ministry when he was sent to bring salvation of Christ to the household of Cornelius a gentile, which is contrary to what he knew, that salvation is only for the Jews. His eyes of understanding was opened more when he did. Lastly, don't forget that Jesus appointed Paul to his ministry. Same Spirit worked in them so no space for confusion. |
LegendHero:Now you are talking... asking and proffering a way forward to rein in our common problem,... that's the way to go. See, Oyibo have sorted themselves out many centuries ago, and I admire them for that. So we must sort ourselves out too (just like most Asians are pushing) ...may be today or tomorrow but not yesterday. Blacks are not morons who can't solve their own problem. Meanwhile I like your last paragraph. It will go a long way to solve 50% of our problem. |
Nonsense talk from nonsense youths! |
Quest for disintegration won't come up repeatedly in Nigeria history if Nigeria project has worked. After 59 years we have not found our rhythm to work together. How can we progress if we are not united. And how can we be united if we continue to hold tight what divides us rather than what unite us. And numerical strength doesn't always transform to economic strength. If 70% of the population is poor, I think it will take much more than human numbers to be economically strong. |
Tallesty1:Very good question. We can't just be together just for together sake. There must be visions and sense of belonging and hope to everyone. |
Anambra keep on pushing the boundaries...look beyond the drags of malfunctioning Nigeria, and continue breaking records...push more towards science and technology. |
NYT's opinion of 60 years ago is now digested, hook, line and sinkers, and brought up to disturb us, in this Buhari time. In stead of looking for what will build us stronger especially in this independence celebration period, someone decided to expend energy digging on actions and inactions of dead Nigerian leaders. The problem created by mistrust between these three characters is yet to be solved. Don't waste your energy debating on who's wrong or right. |
Even though it is for political purpose, I still like the idea anyway. The sustainability is another thing...till when? |
Why can't Enugu and Anambra government team up and fight to get it sorted. It is such an eyesore! |
Good news! |
Too bad...it pained Nigerians so much considering how much they sacrificed when the whites were dealing with black SA during the apartheid...and the "Thank You" is xenophobic attacks. |
Still can't believe how IPOB was quickly proscribed and shut off as terrorist organisation when what they mainly do is simply protest but Miyetti Allah protected Fulani herdsmen who kills for no cogent reasons are at worst called bandits. How? |
