Not true, even as at today all tertiary institutions staff not sure if the minimum wage has been implemented because since when they have been captured on IPPIS they have been having challenges in their salary. Some even experience a deduction 10k, 20k, 30k in their salary after being captured on IPPIS.

For some of their Academic staff under ASSU are yet to receive salary because they refused to be captured on IPPIS and all tertiary institutions staff not yet receive new minimum wage arrears since last year April.

Non academic staff in tertiary institutions on IPPIS receive 79k CONTISS 07

Good morning. Pls someone should help with info pertaining to Allowances of non Academic staffs in fed. Universities, I was told that a graduate is placed on CONTISS 07, and the basic salary is 80+.. Pls do they have any allowances or its only that basic that they'll be receiving every month.

Incase people don’t know, this is how Virtual Test/Exams work.
Before you are allowed access to the exams questions, you will be asked to verify yourself using any means of identification that carries your picture and other particulars such as date of birth and so on. Upon doing that, you will be required to turn on your laptop camera and stand for it to capture your face.
Then you will be asked to leave your camera on and mic on.
All these are to curb cheating and every movement is monitored, every background noise is also monitored.
For those that want to cheat and cut corners better be careful not to waste your chances of golden opportunity.
It is better to write and fail than to be disqualified because of cheating.
Those setting this exams are not fools. They know that people will think towards cheating.
A word is enough for the wise.

NB: For those writing Virtually, it is better to use Laptop or go to a good Cafe and use their services.
Using phones or tablets may not be easy and has it’s own limitations

I have a uncle in the UK who is a citizen and he assured me that if I can change my surname to his, he will fly me over to the UK.

I'm a 300L student studying economics here in Nigeria, and my name is .... ( This is the name I have in all my documents) and the surname my uncle want me to change to is 'Richard' so after changing my name it will look like this "Dayo Richard".

I want to apply for a change of name (to address the surname)

After doing the change of name I want to also apply for my National Identification Registration with (NIMC) which definitely I will have to do a new Birth Certificate with my new name.

Now my problem is this :
Will the change of surname affect my travelling documents if I want to apply for a visa, since the surname I have on my academic documents is different from my new surname?

What do you think I can do to balance everything?

Nairalanders, I'm about to do something my conscience doesn't agree with but it feels like the right decision to make. I have a boyfriend. We've been dating for the past 6 months. I love him. We were good friends before we started dating. I'm someone who doesn't trust easily and I like to assess a guy for a while before dating him. I assessed his intentions and I realised he didn't just want to have sex with me and leave. He loved me just as I loved him.

Three months ago I met this guy. At first I just saw him as a friend, but as I got to know him I started noticing the good qualities he possessed. He's very attractive, very intelligent and wellspoken. My conversations with him were so immersive. The little time I spent with him always left a profound impression on me. Soon I noticed I had started developing feelings for him. I was still in love with my boyfriend nevertheless.

One day the new guy asked me if I had a boyfriend. I told him I did. The next day he called me and said that he didn't want to interfere with my relationship. He said he had feelings for me and he couldn't remain friends with me when he knows I have a boyfriend. I told him that I had feelings for him as well and that we could still remain friends but he refused and suggested that we stopped talking. He hasn't called or texted me since that day.

This situation has left me in an emotional turmoil. This new guy represents everything I want in a guy and as much as I don't want to admit it, he possesses better qualities than my boyfriend. I can't imagine a life where I can't talk to him anymore. I really like him. His decision has left me in a dicey position. It's unfair to leave my boyfriend who has always been nice to me for someone else, but the new guy doesn't want to have anything to do with me again as long as I'm in a relationship.

Please I need advice. I don't want to make the wrong decision.

Honestly speaking nobody said move heaven and earth for your girlfriend but it is only normal that who ever your dating u assume you love that person and when you love someone caring for that person shouldn't feel like a burden except she doesn't reciprocate the love back to you ...most of the people you see posting advises on social media dont practice what they preach ...you see that Reno omokiri if you know his wife you can ask her I bet he is doing a totally opposite thing from what he is preaching ..the best way to show love is in action sacrifices giving etc if u cn help the needy in the society why wont u take care of your girl biko except u dont truly love she is just a game ...except there characters in her u dont like but breaking up with her like that mehn u fall my hand ...you dont lover her simple if u did trust me there are better ways to handle disagreements in relationships
