Sources at the company, Perfection Motor Limited in Ikeja, Lagos, told The Nigerian Xpress that Onyeka, who is a mechanic at the company, died of neglect by the company.

One of the sources, who spoke to our reporter on the condition of anonymity, said it took the company management over an hour after the accident occurred before Onyekachi was taken to the hospital.

“He was taken to more than one hospital because they kept rejecting him. He died on the way to the last hospital,” the source said...

The genesis of my story started when I gained admission to study Food science and Technology at University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Prequel to that,I was an academic whizkid. I maintained first position from primary 1 to SS3 except in first term jss1. When I went to pre science in Unizik, I came second out of 3500 students that applied. The result is still with me and can be provided to buttress this post if need be.
How I ended up in fst is a long story although not far from parental love for medicine and surgery vis-a-vis engineering.
When I gained admission in 2013, we were 3 people in class that had good GP. Three of us were first class and out of the three,my GP was highest. Then, there is this unwritten rule in our department that they can't graduate more than one first class in a year.
There was this girl that was behind me. Her name is Egwuonwu Kosisochukwu Vivan. She came to me directly to inquire about my reading skills which I willingly gave to her. In 'appreciation', she told me that I will never graduate, and that if I push too hard, I will end up in casket. Those were her exact words. I wanted to take it to school security but my classmates advised against it. Their reasoning was that people will take it as a strategy I employed to wade off competition.
I left it to God after prayers. I also told my parents who did absolutely nothing about it.
It was not long before I got sick. The sickness is such that whenever I leaves Nsukka, I will be very fine but any day I steps my foot again in Nsukka, I will be sick again. Merely looking at me, one would not notice any ailments at all.
As this was going on so was my GP going down. I did not understand myself until my final year. I was told that I have references for a course which I have passed in 4th year.
In my thinking, all these was just for the sake of the first class. So left everything to God and focused in business. Since 2018 that I left school, I have tried so many businesses and at the point of succeeding, it will crash.

This has been happening to me since. I have prayed to no avail. A girl that I thought mini importation business in 2019 just acqured a #75m house but I can't feed. I need help and advise. I have goods packed here and they are not selling even though it is hot products.
I have no food to eat as I am typing this. I am using someone's hotspot.
Someone who wanted to help me spiritually is demanding 60k naira from me which I do not have. I need at least 40k naira to revive my business again.
I need help. I don't want to pull the plug I did not create but I might have no choice.
PS: My mom is dead, my Dad is a retired headmaster and not interested in me again because he is training my younger ones. The girl later made first class while I wrote a reference.

This TEF grant is a waste of precious time. Why will tony elumelu foundation engage applicants from January till August and then disqualified them after 8 months? It sounds unfair. The grant is not worth the stress, time and data wasted.
