This gentleman hia who I have quoted, has simply stated what people like Bishop Kukah have been saying all this while; it is not wrong to support APC/Buhari/Lai Mohammed, it is not wrong to support PDP/Jonathan/Metuh; infact that is what democracy is all About!!

What is wrong - and seemingly foolish - is choosing to support them to the point of defending them, even when what they are doing is wrong or evil - please note that when I speak in terms of wrong, I am talking about of what I deem as morally appropriate for a leader and when I speak in terms of evil, I am talking of what is constitutionally illegal or what is against the law.

There is nowhere in the world, where a statement was issued by lying-Lai-Mohammed that Innoson vehicles will be bought so as to boost the local economy; on the other hand, there are numerous news archives that show reports of Jonathan ordering that ministries and MDA patronise Innoson; which leads me to believe that those vehicles are old!

If OP wants to prove that Buhari bought innoson vehicles; as a way to defend Buhari's "Change" government's huge budgetary allocation for buying vehicle, then he should show us credible newsworthy sources where Buhari ordered or used body language to make ministries buy Made-in-Nigeria cars - whether Innoson, Volkswagen, Nissan, hyundai, peugeot or Kia!!

N.B: a lot of foreign auto companies now have assembly plants active in Nigeria where cars are assembled!! Buhari patronising them, won't have been a bad idea; that is.............if he even knows they exist!!

Very likely!! You could find yourself just about anywhere but on average; the highest any officer can be found in one unit at a time is 3years - and that is rare - most likely, except on special request by your commander, every 2 years you will get posted!!

Notice, that I said unit, meaning you be in a particular state for quite sometime but moving between different units of the NAF found in that state every 2 to 3 years!!

I want join the Direct short service commission as a doctor and ten perhaps graduate to Direct regular commission after four to eight years.
I have always had the dream of joining the military and serving humanity as best as I can.
My dream of being part of the NAF has been there for a long time, it was a passing fantasy initially but of recent it has become an obsessive desire.

Know though that the DSSC - Direct Short Service Commission - is based on availability of vacancy advertised by the different department - they are called Corps - in the military!!

So if the forms are available and there is vacancy for Medical Doctors; you can apply!!

Direct Regular Commission is what you get converted to - not promoted might I add because it is not a rank - after 10years of service!! Its just signifies your intention to remain within the armed forces!!

If you apply, and are successful and eventually get commissioned; you must serve for a minimum of 10 years before you are allowed to leave!! Then after 10years, if you still wish to remain, then you are converted to Direct Regular Commission!! Conversion just requires you filling documentation which will likely include documentation based on your last medicals - that's all!!

My good friend; the truth is that Buhari didn't flout the court order! Buhari isn't even party to the case; it was the DSS that flouted the court order in the case of Kanu and EFCC that flouted the order in the case of Dasuki!!

Lawyers have a knack for making technical arguements; Buhari may have interferred in the background, but proving it in court - which demands evidence must be provided for every statement made - will be a tall order!!

Nevertheless, if Buhari continue to interfer, both the DSS and EFCC will end up losing their cases and nobody but Buhari will be blamed for it!!

Judges are not fools; and fools are not made Judges! The fact that they bear duties that demand a secluded/private lifestyle doesn't mean they are dumb!

They are not the kind of people Government should offend, because a good number of them have attained depth in law; the "Books of Law" are their bibles and when provoked; they suffer fools............gladly!!

Obviously, given the strict code of conduct judges must adhere to, no judge will ever make such a comment!!

But permit me to disappoint some people in advance, who are ignorantly cheering on Buhari's actions; it will only give the accused persons - in this case Dasuki, Kanu and Dokpesi - the upper hand when there cases are eventually heard in full!!

Their legal counsel can easily cite the actions of the DSS and EFCC as proof of the ability of these agencies to bully/harass "presumed" innocent civilians.

I have reviewed/listened to different comments from various legal professionals and not one person has called granting bail to either of these accused persons illegal, unethical or unconstitutional!! Most people who oppose the bail do it based on a "perceived" high moral ground instead of a legal ground!!

Unfortunately for such persons, the judiciary does not respect how you feel nor what you think; it only gives preference to the constitution and in this case, it is obviously allowed!

Only a foolish prosecutor, will allow his client to disobey/ignore a court order and expect to easily convince such a judge that the "prosecuted" fellows are guilty; you will only end up forcing the judge to take a pseudo-denfensive stance to ensure that his/her orders are not taken lightly and that the accused isn't in anyway intimidated by the counsel of the prosecutor!!

If Buhari/DSS/EFCC are fully convinced that the accused persons are guilty and the weight of evidence is sufficient enough to secure a conviction; what is wrong in creating a "bird cage" using security operatives??

Release Dasuki to go see his doctor and then liase with interpol to ensure he doesn't escape outside the immediate state where his doctor can be found; why not let kanu go and then have him placed under security watch, alert airport Passport control, border patrols, MR XYZ is not allowed to move!! If kanu jumps bail to the UK, take advantage of diplomatic relations with the UK, send his Nigerian documentation and have him extradited!!

When you do things like this, following rule of law, most international allies will give you their cooperation. But when you start abrogating to yourself the role of Judge and accuser, you make a fool of yourself before international allies who will insist that the rule of law must stand!!!

The drop in crude oil prices in the international market makes it unnessary to have fuel subsidy anyway

The fuel subsidy itself was there as a buffer for the high cost crude when oil was at 100 dollars a barrel. Now that oil has dropped to below 40 dollars a barrel then it's easy to remove the subsidy.

Also note that we have removed subsidy and kept the official price of crude at the level it was when crude oil was 100 dollars a barrel. This is effectively an increment in the cost of crude by the government in order to remove subsidy.

What will be SMART will be for Nigeria to increase her refining capacity and be self reliant! We need to also export more of PMS and other by products of crude instead of crude oil itself! It is criminal that we produce crude and import petrol, thereby subject our economy to international exchange rate even though we have enough crude oil that if we refine locally we can shield our economy from international market forces!

The question nobody is asking are as follows;

What exactly is the cost of Extraction!?

What exactly is the cost of refining; locally and internationally??

My advise? Let's deal with currency the soludo way, remove currency restrictions, keep higher denomination for prospective investors/d conduct our macro-economic business in Naira as opposed to using the dollar!!

This should be sufficient to provide enough demand for the Naira and make it competitive to the dollar

Let's not talk from both sides of the mouth; he was charged to court for whatever offence the SSS deemed he should be charged for; the same court gave order for bail to be administered on the Kanu and Kanu has met the bail conditions!

Does it now make sense for the SSS to flout the order of a court, before a judge that you are trying to convince that he commited Treason or whatever crime you accuse him of??

If you were a judge, will you entertain any entry or submission made by the SSS/DSS when they have flouted/ignored orders issued by you??

Are you aware, that flouting a court order is tantamount to contempt of court!! And the when SSS loses the case, they will say Judges are corrupt and they need to do reforms in the Judiciary!!

Be reasonable in your submissions; if you will not obey a court order that is unfavourable to you, why Charge a person to such a court! Let Buhari just setup Military tribunal or use SSS to setup para-military tribunal and charge Kanu let us know that we are in an era where the law is openly disobeyed and the President can brag with ease in a Media chat!!

What stops Buhari from refusing to handover come may 2019 if he loses elections, if a matter as simple as administrative bail, issued by the Judiciary, that does not concern the presidency is receiving unlawful executive interference how much more matters that concern it directly!!

I remember when El-rufai was invited by the SSS and accused of making seditious statement against the government - el rufai simply laughed, because sedition does not exist in our constitution. He knew that because he had a diploma in law - Sedition is a word typically used by the military.

APC chieftains call Jonathan all sorts of names; amaechi called for civil disobedience, Buhari sought for the dogs and baboons to be soaked in blood; where they arrested for what they said??

A landmark of measuring democractic rights in any democracy is freedom of speech; you have the right to say whatever you want but I also have to choose what I listen to, equation balanced!! As long as what you say doesn't in anyway infringe on my right to what I want to hear!!

This is why - in my own opinion - Jonathan saw no need to give attention to people like Nnamdi Kanu no matter how many broadcast sessions he held! The only times I remember they got his attention, was when they tried to enforce the use of biafran currency - against Nigerian law - and when some of the biafran agitators tried to raid a radio station in the east and pass an emergency broadcast announcing biafra; both acts which are criminal offences!!

Also for the record, not everyone who doesn't agree with your opinion on how court orders should be obeyed or disobeyed - whether concerning Kanu, Dasuki, or any Nigerian for that matter - is an IPOB fan or a miscreant!!
