THE BUYER IS A DEALER THAT CAME WITH HIS MECHANIC, AFTER THE MECHANIC TESTED IT THEY DIDNT THINK TWICE BEFORE PAYING.

THEY PAID 1.9M BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE OFFERED TO ADD 100K TO THE PRICE

The Nigerian used car market does not exist formally. Nigerian used cars used to be sold strictly at the DISCRETION OF THE OWNER. But unfortunately falling value of the naira and increase in import duty have placed the price of new cars at a high premium.

Those days dealer go bring in 2007 toyota camry aka voltron, put price asking price of #2m, jale jale, #1.85m last, middle man go snap motor declare the car #2.75m, E own jale jale na #2.1m - #2.3m last and they were making it big, everywhere soft.

Now dealer go bring 2007 voltron, declare asking price #4m - #4.5, middle man no know where to start from! Who go answer you if you tell them say 2007 camry is almost 5million?

So now, middle men that used to market/sell tokunbo cars and will put price of such vehicles with margin of anywhere from 300k to as much as #2m, can't do so anymore, so they have shifted their portfolio to Nigerian used cars.......

Imagine, middle man wan sell 2005 Honda civic, without AC for #1.35m last, based on the price of tokunbo cars now is too much in the market.
