Nigerian men are too egostical, that's why it doesn't even cross many of our minds that women will cheat on us. But women cheat a lot. A DNA test should be a prerequisite for the Issue of a birth certificate.

I thought nobody can access ur crypto wallet angry
Yeah, no one can access the wallet without the seedphrase but if they know the wallet address, they can monitor your transactions. So once it is known that the accused has crypto holdings, he has to disclose and return it or run the risk of getting a 20-40 year sentence. By allowing them to seize it, he can get 10-12 years imprisonment like his friend Hushpuppi.

Why is it that only federal agencies are trying to regulate these apps and not
your state government?
Why not petition your state assembly?

Here you show your ignorance again.
Loan apps give loans to any customer that asks regardless of their income status.
Commercial banks preselect beneficiaries for their small loans, they often target salary account
owners and those with regular income stream.

The truth is that people like you want to eat your cake and still have it.
You don't want the loan apps banned because they are your last hope having
exhausted other easier means due to defaults.
But at the same time, you don't want to pay back the loan citing high interest.
Don't be foolish. All my posts on this issue have advocated a complete ban on any usurious and unregistered money lender.

You are silly for thinking you are the one to teach me about credit. Are the apps suppose to give loans without any analysis as to the ability of the borrower to pay back? They do that because they are deliberately targeting the vulnerable in society and they then end up using blackmail and emotional attacks to get back the money. We haven't even mentioned the money laundering involved as the lent money is from criminal triad gangs in China.

No sensible person would see what those apps are doing and try to justify them. If you justify their criminality, then it calls into question whether your brain is working well or not.

You sound like an illiterate.
Lagos does not set interest rate or APR, CBN does.
Also, there is no such thing as usury as far as Nigeria is concerned.

Moreover, this loan companies are not commercial banks.
You either ban them entirely or leave them alone.

Since they are committing crimes, why not run to your well-regulated commercial banks?
Oh, you can't because they don't trust you and won't give you a dime unless you have collateral.

Stay off loan apps if you can't pay the interest.
You have spoken like the ignorant cretin you are. There are usury laws in Nigeria that determine what the maximum interest rate you can charge even as a private lender. You are a compound fool who does not even know that moneylending license for non banks is given by the state government.
All commercial banks give loans without collateral. All. It is simple information gap that make people go for loan apps who do not even lend substantial amounts needed. The loan apps are deliberately targeting the needy and offering them 7500 to pay back 12k. Eventually, the person will end up spending 60k to service a 7500 loan till they still default. Yet a moronic dotard like you is here spewing nonsense.

The loan apps are exactly like a drug dealer who sells in the school district. They are not providing any service.

Anybody who defends the loan apps is either a loan agent, a total idiot, or a criminal who would support preying on the weak.
Health › Re: UK Stops Recruiting Healthcare Workers From Nigeria, 53 Others (Full List) by einsteine(m): 1:29pm On Apr 10, 2023
No active recruitment does not mean no recruitment. The nationals of those countries can still apply if they find vacancies. Also, if a medical practitioner/nurse etc comes to the UK on postgraduate course, they can still be recruited. Unfortunately, due to labour laws and anti-discriinatory laws, the UK cannot ban Nigerians from working as health workers unless it is a blanket ban on foreign workers.

You are right.
The issue is most Nigerians are dubious by nature and will never payload even with a fight. It's not only here oh. A paddy in the uk told me of another friend that collected 50k gbp loan from bank, and took the money to naija, never to pay back. That after 5 years your records will be cleared. That is allegedly the UK banking laws.
Lend your paddy money and see if he will pay you, one told me last last, I should take him to police.
3 weeks ago, I needed urgent 100k. Tried gt bank, forwhere, they said it has to be salary acct. Tried Zenith, that one, seems it is only to themselves they give loan, tried Fcmb, the said mine was company account, it has to be personal account. A whole me could not get 100k from regular banking.
I went to some of these apps eg carbon and fairmoney I had used years ago. The kind of extra info they were asking for, I kukuma japa.
What basically I am saying is that those loan apps with tighten up, the regular banks will not give money. Relatives, friends and family will not give money because them no want quarrel.
So where do folks now get urgent money to solve pressing issues?
If according to you Nigerians don't pay back loans, how come there are over 100 loan apps targeting Nigerians? Nigeria is a very profitable location for loan sharks and everyday they open new apps and new businesses to lend money to people whom you claim don't pay loans.

Where you forced to borrow the money?
You went to Playstore, download the app, registered and apply for a loan
with no threats employed in any of this process.

You have family and friends who can give you loan with zero interest
but you chose a profit driven company instead for obvious reasons.

You also have your normal banks who would also not give you loan without collateral.

No loan companies will give you a non-collateral loan at a normal interest rate.
Never.
You are obviously one of the jobless youths they employed as collection agents.

If you weren't, you would have understood that these apps are commiting crimes. Have you heard about usury laws? There is a limit to the amount of interest you can charge. In Lagos state, this is set to a maximum of 100% APR. This loan apps charge 30% every 7 days which is about 1500% APR, over 15 times the maximum rate. They also break the cybercime act by engaging in cyberstalking and privacy violation. Yet here you are claiming they are profit seeking. Being profit seeking does not give you a right to break laws. Scammers are profit seeking too.

Politics › Re: NASS Leadership: Northern Senators Plot Against Zoning by einsteine(m): 11:59pm On Apr 08, 2023
This was what Tambuwal did in 2011 and Tinubu supported him. The PDP had zoned the speaker position to the southwest but most of the southwest reps were in ACN and they connived with Tambuwal to jettison zoning. Tinubu then used this as a point to claim that Jonathan marginalised Yorubas.

Some of those accounts are owned by people in the diaspora. Why not just make the accounts dormant pending whenever the owners try to withdraw?

I know a woman who had 250,000 euros in her dom account. In 2015, she came to reactivate the account. She had been living in Italy and had not visited Nigeria for 7 years prior which was why the account went dormant. Imagine if bvn had been introduced during that time, her account would have had no bvn

That's why invictus obi got his pastor, workers etc to write letters to an American Court.

Well, he is also facing a civil case on the same issue and with this conviction, he may likely lose the civil case and pay more. That's the reason given by the judge for not adding a refund of the total loot as one of the sentences.

Ok is Cigarette illegal and why he dey try smuggle Cigarettes go UK sef shey Nigeria Cigarettes sweet pass UK own ni....
In the US, smuggling a truck of cigarettes from the state of Delaware to New York can fetch a profit of 2 million dollars.

Smuggling 100,000 cigarettes from Malaysia to the UK can fetch as much as 150,000 pounds in profit

The offence here is the evasion of customs duty. Buying cigarettes in countries with low duty and selling in high duty countries is a brisk, criminal business.

All APC members might not vote in tandem and the party won't get their wish. Unless they get more seats from the Sokoto supplementary election. I suspect Akpabio might end up getting it.

For the house, I wonder whether they will give it to Gbajamiala again. It ideally should be zoned to a Northern Christian.
