Mumu Emefiele go dey give people lamba.
The only he reason they did a redesign was because it would be a chance to do some spending. You can draw your conclusions on things like contract inflation, for example.
Also, the demonetisation is stupid knowing that Nigeria has an informal economy.
Middlemen with access to CBN cash would be the beneficiaries of Emefiele's policies as the cost of getting cash would increase |

She is gaslighting you.
She doesn't love or fear you.
So you probably should stop begging for her to return.
That said, in your next relationship, you should ensure you don't do all this. Women may claim they want you to check on them and call them and so but it's not true. Minimise the calls. |

johnfem321: I won’t bother to trade insult with you and pardon you naivety… Big brother just aired a few month ago and there is a new big brother few month after, and coincidentally it’s just before and during election .. what you don’t understand is that there are a lot of high level manipulation, persuasion and political physco marketing that goes on during presidential election.. this level of manipulating happens with the help of big psychological research organisation who can help shift certain demographic of voters toward certain direction, distract them or perhaps create a saga around certain candidate to discredit them….one of such company is Cambridge analytical who was exposed for helping trump win the election through unethical manipulation of American citizen and obtaining data illegally from Facebook….the same company worked in Nigeria for Jonathan a few years ago.. Let me stop here because you might not comprehend what I mean.. a lot of things go on behind the seen and big brother been aired during a presidential election doesn’t look normal.. from time big brother is a show influenced by the elite in Nigeria.. if you don’t have connection you no fit enter.. so why can’t they influence them to do a show if they want to .. The simple point is that there is no distraction anywhere. This particular edition has been announced even before this year's edition. A significant percentage of the viewership of the program is outside Nigeria. Not everything is a conspiracy. European football (which has much larger following in Nigeria than almost anything) is in full swing in January/February, why aren't you guys saying it will distract the "youths"? Can you explain in four sentences how BBN will distract anybody from participating in the election? Most people are just jumping on the conspiracy theory bandwagon rather than doing critical thinking. Nigeria's election process requires you to have a PVC before voting. In order to get the PVC, you undergo a registration process. Anyone who has taken the pains to go through this process will vote if they want to vote. It wouldn't matter what's going on on in TV. Tertiary institutions being in session during the elections is a more critical factor for the election than BBNaija. Think for yourself. Don't just say shibboleths that you hear around you. Big Brother show has zero effect on political participation. |

All this Japa people.
If only the husband or wife travels, you can safely assume there will be cheating. People cheat even in the same city, let alone when they are separated by oceans.
Also, in the UK, women of Nigerian origin are seriously looking for husbands and partners and will snag almost any eligible man they see. This is because Nigerian women there are generally rejected by the White men (exceptions exist, of course).
OP, your husband is cheating. It is your choice on what to do. You can cheat back, divorce, forgive (while hoping he actually allows you join him in the UK, it is not 100% certain) etc.
What you must not do is disturb us with your cries and complaints. After all, it has long been established that na mumu dey marry (again, exceptions exist). |

franchasng: I used to own a car, I used to live in Manhattan city, I used to work with Bill Clinton, I was a first class graduate in my set, I was the leader of my community when I was a youth and all those past events are no excuse to the fact that currently you are old, senile, and bereft of modern knowledge. You cannot cheat nature. Wole Soyinka of today is not the same brilliant exceptional great writer of the yesteryears that won Nobel Prize, his time has passed, today is the time of young prolific writers like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her time will also pass just like that of Chinua Achebe and Ekwensi of those days. Everything has time and season, Tinubu's time has passed let him go and rest. Young people promoting Tinubu are shameless and in fact unfortunate.
Tinubu would have been a best option in 2015 but he rather wasted it by throwing his weight behind a dictator cum terrorist Buhari.
Atiku would have been the best option in 2019, but he missed it, we cannot continue to dwell in the past when the present is fast paced.
Let the dead bury themselves and let the young face the future, you cannot bring the old, the dying to revive the future of the young just because the now old people use to be one time generals when they were young. Their time have passed, we should focus on the future.
Tinubu has expired, foisting him on Nigerians will lead to calamity, check my threads, we warned Nigerians in 2015 about Buhari.
If Yorubas are bent on producing the next President no problem, let them have a gentle man agreement with Tinubu to step down for Osinbajo to replace him and we are good to go. Would you pick Osinbajo ahead of Peter Obi? |
Politics › Re: Show Of Shame’ — Nigerians React To Tinubu’s Chatham House Conversation by einsteine(m): 9:55am On Dec 06, 2022 |
Hmm.
Signs that he will probably win.
The more absurd things a presidential candidate I Nigeria does the more likely he is to win.
For those who prefer other candidates, history has shown that more energy should be spent on galvanising your own voters than on shining light on Tinubu's gaffes.
It doesn't matter how many articles are written about Tinubu's incoherence or poor health or the potential of a cabal hijacking his government if he is elected, those who would vote Tinubu would still vote him.
LP supporters, especially, are putting so much focus into highlighting how bad Tinubu is. Why this would work in other climes, in Nigeria, what it causes the supporters of Tinubu to do is to get into a siege mentality and even support Tinubu more.
So again, focus on getting voters. |

The existence of God isn't even proven and you expect "him" to be feared?
A man can walk up to you and end your life. No proof that there is a God let alone one with the power to do things.
That's why Christians have more reverence for their clergy than the God they claim to serve. They have proof of the pastor's existence. For God, nada. Just hope and faith. |

casualobserver: Argue with yourself all you like, if Jos which is a higher latitude than Jimeta then Adamawa is middle belt. Kwara and Niger are further north than Adamawa.
The so called south east is not the most south eastern part of the country. It is bordered to the east by so called south south sates In fact they are landlocked on all sides. It we are to go by your logic it should probably be called south central and cross rivers called SE. what makes Edo a SS state but imo which is further east and further south a SE state? Like I said continue arguing with yourself. Those of us who know what middle belt meant before you were born have told you what middle belt is. Taraba and Adamawa (Gongola) have always been middle belt. Just as Ibo land has always been “east” even though it is not the most easterly part of the country.
I am also sure you don’t know that Adamawa is not Hausa land. The only connection Adamawa has to the north is that it fell under the Fulani empire. The indigenous people of Adamawa and Taraba are not Hausa in the same way the majority of Borno people are Kanuri. How can you be sure? Unlike you, some of us have actually gone there and are there. Again, those places are not middle belt. You can use the term Northern minorities like I told you earlier. If I didn't know the ethnic groups there, I wouldn't use the word minorities. Next time, don't say you are sure over something you are not sure. If you are familiar with Nigerian political history (I doubt), you may be aware of the party called the United Middle Belt Congress. When it started, the actual middle of the country (Kogi, Kwara, Benue, Plateau) were the areas that supplied members. As the times went on, the party became an umbrella for many Northern minorities and those from Adamawa, Bauchi (mostly non Hausas and Christians) joined the party. This is when the middle belt became a misnomer for any northern minority group. |
