That is a junior staff designation. You are probably employed with SSCE.

CONRAISS 3 is the equivalent of level 10
CONRAISS1 - LEVEL8
2- level 9
3- level 10

CONRAISS 3 is equivalent of grade level 4. The CONRAISS equivalent of grade level is usually a number lower. An officer 11 is on grade level while that same designation is CONRAISS 7.

It is usually stated on the appointment letter. May I also know the designation. This will help to know if you are on grade level salary scale. Grade level 3 is a very low cadre scale for maybe SSCE O'Level.

State the salary structure or your designation. Not all federal jobs are on grade level.
