1. Long ago, stores package cassettes according to the type of movie in it. Adult contents were packaged in blue.

2. Also, in cinemas, adult contents were played on blue background.

3. The director of adult contents resorted to cheap ways of converting black and white reels into a coloured one (BLUE).

My wife got pregnant again even with an IUD. We werent planning for it. As these babies are so small and require so much care already.

Its not like raising them in the village. We live abroad and we dont get help. It means we always have to be with them if not for daycare but then we are working. We are already so tired.

I dont know if I am venting or asking for advice. We are grateful but we are so tired already... what to do...?
I am aware IUD can make you pregnant but the possibility of losing the pregnancy is 80% naturally. Take what God has given you and plan well another time that is if yiyr wife truly wants a successful birth control method. This is so because some wives deliberately plan to get pregnant and deceive thier husbands that they are on contraceptives.

You surely don’t know the pain Ige family went through. The evidences are there, Obasanjo protected Omisore from arrest and the case was buried.
. Omisore, Jelili Adesiyan, Kunle Alao were arrested after the oral confession of Kemade Adebayo alias Fryo. Fryo confessed Omisore sent him to kill Bola Ige..The DPP recommended their prosecution They were remanded in Agodi Prison. It was in prison that Omisore won Senatorial Election..In the course of their prosecution Omisore slumped and that was used to process his bail .PDP was in Oyo and Osun then.As the prosecution progressed Fryo who is now in Osogbo recanted his confession and claimed he made it under duress. Keyamo Festus was involved in the case then..Bola Ige's wife Atinuke fainted when Fryo recanted his statement and that led to her death With no evidence again all the suspects were released The case is still pending until new evidences emerge. In my opinion Omisore and others put themselves in a position that made them to be suspects especially Osun AD crisis and Bola Ige molestation at Ile-Ife.Additionally it appears PDP masterminded Ige's death so as to win the South West. Also people will continue to accuse them but where are the new evidences? The truth is those who killed Ige will face the wrath of God sooner or later. No escape for them. Finally there is nothing bad if Omisore is in the progressives .He made APC win Osun and can continue to stay there for his daily bread and political career. He can even become the Secretary of the party. It is his choice and his right as a. Nigerian to contest
Health › Re: Jehovah's Witness Wife Rejected Blood Transfusion For Her Husband & He Died by ejimatic: 7:04pm On Mar 15, 2022
Pecoleee345:
Should A Wife Be Allowed To Take A Big Decision Without Informing Her In-law?

Good afternoon everybody.i will make this short as possible.

A friend of mine just died in luth (cause of that was anemia). He was operated upon and they told his wife to get blood (2 r.o) for transfusion after the procedure but due to being a jehova witness she decided not to get the blood (jehova witness don't take blood,is against there faith).

She had a back and forth about the blood with the doctors and was asked to sign incase anything happen which she sign without the husband family knowledge....it was only her and her fellow jehova witness that took the decision.

He passed away this midnight, she called her in-law to inform them and I also got the information from the deceased younger brother.

On getting here the family found out the surgery was successful but he died of anemia, the doctors told them it was the wife decision not to get him blood against there prescriptions and infact she signed taking responsibility if anything happens.

A serious fight is happening here, the family are claiming she killed there son which I totally agree to as well.

So this my question, should a wife be allowed to take such a big decision without informing the husband family first.

Note; it was her in-laws that were paying the hospital bills.
. A husband can ask a wife to speak on his behalf especially in case of. Medical emergencies. There is nothing wrong in what the woman did. Additionally doctors detrmine the PCV level before sugeries and in case of bleeding there are procedures to stop it apart from blood transfusion...Based on your religious
and moral conception a person may reject blood transfusion. Blood transfusion in many cases does not save life. There can be complications at times which may claim lives not rejection of blood transfusion.

Good day Nairalander. I'm single, 30 years old. I studied agriculture related course at University level, and I presently worked in that field and I earned about 120k monthly.

I feel unfulfilled and I'm lacking interest day after day. The unfulfillment brewed mostly from my bosses egoistic and narcissistic approach to his employee, the insane working hours, and the lack of liberty, and most importantly, I feel I could do better. Now I have a meagre 2 million naira saved up, small? I know. Buy I'd like to pursue my passion in tech albeit from ground zero.

Now my dilemma is:

1. Seeing that I'm old and already past my prime for a career change at 30 yrs old, does a pursue of another career make sense?

2. Knowing that 2 million is small and would not last long. Does is it make sense to just up and leave?

3. I have a small biz I ideal which I feel could give me close to 50k monthly, but thing is, this is Nigeria and I might be wrong.

4. Should I just suck it up and continue for another year or two? Everyone I asked seems to think I should.

P,S. I worked 12 hours a day and its impossible I merge the two together.
. Career can be changed at any time even if you are sixty depending on what you want to do....Prepare well , count the cost! God will guide you!

GreenAgain:
In the case between Labour Party and a member of House of Representatives representing Akure North/ South constituency, Hon. Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde. He was elected on the LP’s platform in the Seventh Assembly. He defected to the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) before the end of his tenure, citing a division in his state chapter of the Labour Party.

In a preemptive move, Abegunde sued his former party at the Federal High Court, Akure, urging it to, among others, deem his defection as proper, to enable him retain his seat. He lost at the trial court, the Court of Appeal and up to the Supreme Court.A seven-man panel of the Supreme Court, headed by then Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Mahmud Mohammed, in its judgment on April 17, 2015, ruled against Abegunde, to the effect that his claim of a division in the chapter of his party in his state did not qualify as the division envisaged under Section 68(1)(g) of the Constitution.

In the lead judgment, Justice Musa Dattijo Mohammad noted that it was only a division that made it “impossible or impracticable” for the party to function by virtue of the provision of Section 68(1)(g) of the 1999 Constitution that “justifies a person’s defection to another party.”

Justice Muhammad added: “The principles enunciated by this court in the two cases of FEDECO v Goni supra and Attorney-General of the Federation v Abubakar supra, are to the effect that only such factionalisation, fragmentation, splintering or ‘division’ that makes it impossible or impracticable for a particular party to function as such will, by virtue of the proviso to Section 68(1)(g), justify a person’s defection to another party and the retention of his seat for the unexpired term in the house in spite of the defection.”

Despite the unambiguous constitutional provisions on when a defection is proper and clear interpretations of these provisions by the Supreme Court, its application has, in most cases, been subjected to the whims of the leadership of the National Assembly. Before the current wave of defections rocking the National Assembly ahead of 2019 general elections, Zaphaniah Jisalo (Abuja Municipal Area Council /Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory) and Ahmed-Tijani Damisa (Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in Kogi State) who were elected on PDP platform defected to APC last year. Their defection made PDP’s members in the House to demand that they vacate their seats.

When the issue was raised on the floor of the House, PDP Minority Whip, Umar Barde demanded that the seats occupied by Jisalo and Damisa be declared vacant in view of the provision of Section 68 (1g) of the constitution, and since the party was no longer divided after the Supreme Court’s resolution of the leadership dispute between Ali Modu Sheriff and Ahmed Makarfi.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges, Osai Nicholas Ossai (PDP, Delta), spoke in a similar vein and urged Speaker Yakubu Dogara to invoke Section 68 of the Constitution and declare the defectors’ seats vacant. Dogara declined to accede to the PDP members’ call, but instead, argued that their reliance on Section 68 (1g) to demand that the defectors’ seats be declared vacant was insufficient, adding that the constitution did not define what constituted a division in a political party.

The Speaker was quoted as arguing: “Division in a political party is not defined by the constitution. The constitution does not state whether it should be at the national, state or local government level. So, we should allow the judiciary to do its job.”

Arising from this, the judiciary is now doing their job as the interpreter of the Constitution. Don't you think so?
. All your references are in support of the fact that decamping has been a serious issue in our legislative houses in Nigeria with various decisons by the judiciary. Thank you for your presentation. However. on defection by executive members the supreme court decision on Atiku vrs PDP has not been vacated. The Apex Court ruled that. there is no constitutional provisions forbidding the defection of governors and deputies from one party to another.

Osun APC primary: Aregbesola absent, loses ward to Oyetola

Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, was absent at his Ifofin Ward 8, Ilesa East Local Government, even though primary election was held in the area and Governor Gboyega Oyetola was declared the winner.

Oyetola won by 309 votes against 146 recorded for Moshood Adeoti, the candidate supported by Aregbesola.

Speaking with our correspondent, factional chairman of APC in the ward, Adegoke Saheed, alleged manipulation.

He also confirmed absence of Aregbesola from the exercise.

He said, “We concluded (voting) but it is unfortunate that the process did not go smoothly. They brought a party register that was not the original. I supervised the registration and I told those that brought the register that it was not the original.

“So people that are supporting us, we could not find their names in the register. I told them the list has been doctored but they did not listen to me. When they wanted to count, they said those that voted for Oyetola are over 300 and when they counted those that voted for us up to 146, they disrupted the exercise and said they should not count again.

“They didn’t bring the result sheet. They just pack their papers and ran away. This is ward of Hon Minister, Rauf Aregbesola. I was told when I asked about his whereabouts that Ogbeni went on official assignment. He was not around.”
