ViktorOG: I'm an accountant but with your question, you sounds really different. You need to study your FM more. Why will you ever think of quiting a permanent role for a (6) contract role? You should be looking for another permanent role elsewhere and not considering quiting to take up a 6month job. All you see is permanent and contract? With NGOs most roles are time bound but renewable. It's good to make findings instead of assumptions. Most NGO jobs in Nigeria are project based. I know this as i have worked in this sector and will always be better than a private school. |

Nisot7: A very lovely Thursday to you all.
I was recently given a 6 months contract by SFH to work as a finance assistant of a project with a salary of N125,000 per month (subject to 5% withholding tax) and I currently work as an accountant for a private school which salary is N70,000 per month.
Is it advisable that I leave my current work of N70,000 per month and go for the contract offer with SFH or I should just reject the contract offer and continue with my present place of work?
Plz anyone? Coming frim someone tgat has worked in that system, go for the SFH job most times its renewable. Also, its easier to jump on other projects and NGOs. Do something for your career and take this job. |

simultaneousboi: Good morning my people. As I was making enquiry on the best institution to offer PGD with my HND microbiology result, someone told me that I can proceed for masters without PGD as far as I have UPPER CREDIT. How true is this please? I thought it's only BSC holders with FIRST CLASS and SECOND CLASS UPPER that can do that, is HND now applicable? It depends on the school and course. If its an MBA there are a number of schools that will accept you. In IT too schools like University of Iloring will accept HND, NOUN too. |

I want to apply for an on-going schoolarship to one country outside nigeria, but is neco result accepted outside nigeria ? . Please help a brother with advice.. Of course it is. And for the ignorant people saying even some Nigerian Universities reject it its a lie. In Nigeria you can use NECO, WAEC and NABTEB exams for higher institutions and same should apply for foreign schools. |

I remember I read a book then sometimes in 2011 which the author claimed that Maiduguri got lot of beautiful houses and planning and used to be a residential abode for rich northerners.
Although I can’t verify that claim coz I’ve not been there before. But a view of Maiduguri from google earth reveals it’s still a nice city even with all it is passing through currently. Very true. I go there for work and there are roads, street lights, very good houses |

They aren't interested in the disease control just after their selfish interest.
In America even UK, they were told to stay at home and worship at home....Isolate yourselves.
Why can't these churches obey simple instructions for safety of the people.
Greed is real. Always say what you know. In America there are conditions to meet if you must hold services. Most have opted to stream because it is expensive to do the live services. Also, most of the churches streaming have the Pastor´s and the choir present at the church. It is encouraged to stay at home because of how much it has spread in those countries. However, we are advised to do same |

Openbusiness: People with N3m or less have traveled to the USA and succeeded big time. You have N20.3m. The best investment you can ever make is investing in yourself. If you're sure of your agent won't dupe you and can get a student visa for schooling there, you better fly there. You can be schooling and working part-time, in 3 years, you graduate, do your masters, marry one white girl get your stay and enjoy the good life for yourself and your generations to come. They will thank you for taking that bold step and you will be happy with yourself. Invest the N20m where? Invest in this shithole that is full of uncertainty, no security and anti-business government policies Dictator Buhari will soon devalue the naira after destroying the economy, let's see what your N20m will be worth by then. People abroad are praying it happens, so they can send $10k home and build house in banana island with it don't you want to be among them. If I had your opportunity, and a legit means to leave, I will JAPA straight Shallow thinking |

McCoy662: Good evening my good people. Our result just came out today and my worst imagination has happened. I saw my name in 2:2 division, what I have always tried to avoid since my year 1. I know it's my project supervisor that fvcked me up cause he has been hostile to me for no reason. I feel really bad, but that did has been done.
So, I just want to know how bad is 2:2 in Nigerian market? Is it something to count on or should I just move on like I never went to the university??
I need answers please!! Question is what can you offer. A 2:1 doesn't´t necessarily translate to better performance in the marketplace. Be particular about building yourself and you will go far. Even the Zenith Bank MD has a HND in Accounting but he didn´t stop there nether did he let it limit him. He improved on his skills and qualifications. DO the same. People will always tell you trash. There are tons of 2:1 graduates still looking for jobs. |
