Tayorshd87: From a friend though
Am the last born in my family and there are too many ups and downs and wahala in my family because it was a polygamous home and my father was one of the man I mistakenly ever met on earth and unlucky for me he is my father 😭😢 So how I wish I should start my life with my own fresh lineage from my wife and children. Like I don't want to be part of the father tree again.
I gave birth 3days ago and I don't want my son to bear my surname 🤔 I want my own name to be his surname so my father lineage will be cut off ☹️
Please is there any future implications in this decision? Or rather something bad behind this decision??
Thanks 😌 Yes it is, all through primary school my brother and I use my father's first name as our surname |

EriMma1: Please guys,. Help me reason this matter. I've had this client for 6 years and last year, I approached them for increment but nothing happened.
This year I threatened to leave and this people promised to do something. When the pay came in last week, na 5k dem add. Like seriously??
Meanwhile, my other clients added up to 20k, and some added 10k the same time I approached all of them last year.
So I wanted to call and ask if it was a mistake but I said let me ask round first and some my colleagues in the same field said they even tried that they have clients of over twenty years that have not added one naira to their pay.
Please, is it worth it especially now that there's serious inflation? Every business runs at a different capacity, don't make the mistake of comparing one to another. Also, a portfolio is what gives you other jobs and as long as you ar not loosing and they are paying you steady then it's fine. If you drop them there are a lot of options out there that may even do the job better, never feel too much of yourself but value yourself |

klimkid: My girlfriend and I have been dating for 3 years now and it's about time we start planning on getting married.
One thing I no for sure is that she loves me and I do love her too. Recently, she told me that her mom went to some churches and they told her it won't work, about 3 pastors. But my girlfriend told her friend to tell her pastor to pray about it.
So he prayed about it and he gave us feedback after 3 days and he said the marriage will work, he said I will give my girlfriend peace, take care of her and make her happy.
There's a woman that prays for me here in Lagos, she said there is nothing wrong with both of us. I also called my Rev. Father and he said that nobody has the right to say the person is for this person or the marriage won't work.
He said marriage is a decision both of us will take and pray about it.
He said hence we love ourselves so much, should leave it for God and continue with our relationship.
Guys, have you experienced this before? What do you think? I am confused. You have a mouth, you have knees, and you have Bible so why all the prayer contracting please? So a prophecy is usually a confirmation of what you already feel. So the Holy Spirit isn't a confusionist |

hotwax: For the past years, our workspace has been witnessing high rate of career growth of our female counterparts, especially young girls. We guys feel so dejected and demoralized whenever promotion list is published.
It is a norm that ladies who don’t do anything at the office, those who don’t work get promoted while guys work like donkeys. This has made us lose many of our talents to our competitors.
You see female IT students squaring up to fight a Manager, threatening a Manager. We had a case where a Manager was summoned and warned to desist from correcting a particular female industrial attaché. He was told point blank that he would lose his job. When its time for promotion, ladies (both married and single) wear skimpy skirt to the office, expose cleavages e.t.c.
Late last year, we had management shakeup, the new management is dominated by women. Our MD is a woman. This has changed things significantly. They published promotion list last month, men dominated it. I got promoted too.
Things have now changed. Suddenly ladies are courteous and respectful. Office spaces is now always full to the brim. Our female folks are now working seriously. They are now nice. They are learning some processes they care not to learn before. They don’t use to work, now, they are learning the Hardaway.
In those past years, I lost respect for women in offices especially those career miniskirt ladies working in offices. I used to wonder who they fcked to get to where they are. You can't use your experience to judge everyone. Not everyone sleeps with somebody to get ahead. Sometimes people just know the right spots to hit with h superiors. Also, it's left to the management to decide who is worthy of promotion. You don't mark your own script. Bow that you guys are promoted then I. Your mentality it means you guys are sleeping with your boss then. |

I really pity the Gbagyi people of Abuja and other middle belt Indegeneous tribe of Abuja
Already Labour Party took their Only Senatorial district Ticket for a non Indegene Southerner
Imagine as an indegene you have land dispute or other dispute regarding Government representation, if they go to report at the LGA.. they meet Hausa, if they go to meet FCT Minister they meet Fulani, if they go to meet their Senator its a Yoruba woman they meet, if they go to meet the Market leaders they meet Igbos
Using principle of Federal Character system and Qouta system, every Gbagyi indegene would get shortchanged during Federal Government recruitment when they can't even have an indegene to approve their employment slot at the LGA

Stop giving yourself false hope if you don't have an "insider" that can push your application. Infact the jobs are quickly hijacked by internal applicants. Dem take style corrupt joor! That you didn't get a job doesn't mean its wash. I've worked in that system nd I got my job my just applying online and going through the processes. It is normally stiff yes but there is a lot of merit too especially in the international ones. Even when they give insiders they have to advertise that is done for audit purposes as its the laid down process |

oenamaus1: Good evening dear all, I am a guy around 30years, learnt draftsmanship and then went ahead to obtain a Diploma in Architectural technology. I have been practicing for years now and I must say I'm good at what I do,at least I make money from the drawings, building executions and supervisions. I have read countless times how lucrative and the prospect coding and programming comes with in this age. The question is, I have obtained the HND form of Federal polytechnic Ado but there's this program I registered for online and I have been selected out many appliccants to be part of the 50 persons that would be trained for 4 months for 7 days a week,(Monday to Wednesday virtual classes and Thursday to Sunday physical classes) note: this comes with stipends but the bone of contention is once given admission for HND it would be upheaval to run such a program with my academics because Architecture itself comes with lots of commitments. Extra.. During my ND days, I couldn't keep a girlfriend because Architecture no be your mate, outta about 120 of us, we had just 6 females and many didn't graduate with us because of their complacency. Please i could make use of advices. I will explain a few things. That you learn coding doesn't make you a programmer, it will take a while for you to get the kind of skill and patronage you may want. Since you are good at architecture you can do your HND and still learn to code in your spare time. Programming is very broad and it's not a learn for 4 months and become a millionaire thing. If making money is your reason for learning then don't bother as tit won't give you the "immediate" gratification you may seek, you can't learn to drive a car in a day and call yourself an expert |

@lalasticlala...please help push to front page for more engagements The first reaction of a lot of people will be for you to just go. First of all, accommodation is expensive, then other bills, even worse if you have a family. My opinion is if you could get this then you're good enough to get a better one. 1.5M in Nigeria will do more for you than 4K pounds in the Uk. A lot of Nigerians are misinformed or clouded by situations that they feel relocating means their lives have changed. If you decide to go, it should come from a place of strategy that is if it will help your career and not just for survival. |
