Genuflect:I've not got the link myself . . . just got the link for this video from one of my mates on Facebook. Genuflect:The lyrics are written by fans . . . not the artistes. Come on, I've sent in lyrics for songs on azlyrics.com before. Genuflect:Ionno what's wrong with him man . . . he murks Jay-Z on one track and then he goes on to hold his ground against Talib Kweli and Mos Def?? His flow is just unbelievable, and he doesn't just spew fuckery like the one whose name shall not be mentioned ![]() |
Truth be told, how many of these girls that have been crying everywhere will actually stay with a guy that comes straightup to say all he wants is sex?? The same girls that agree to this, y'all label sluts. You guys don't want the truth in the first place. Human beings don't like to hear the truth . . . we'll rather believe the lie. |
@rapjnkie That's anything but 'or' . . . we heard the way he pronounced or in the line before that. But I'll give Kweli the benefit of this doubt. I prefer the J. Cole verse too . . . his flow was out-of-this-world and his bars are good. |
rapjunkie:Oh shit I forgot that [flash=450,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOKROODcPZI&hl=en_GB&fs=1&[/flash] |
ayettymama:Erm . . . I don't get where you're going with this but . . . merci mademoiselle ![]() |
Talib Kweli and Mos Def on one track . . . with the future of HiphopJ. Cole and Jay Electronica with Hi-Tek's beats . . . this is pure battle of wits. It's like a Get By Remix Remix This is hiphop eargasm. . .Talib Kweli was unexpectedly dissapointing on this track . . . He even had a minor B.S moment when he confused Buddhists with muslims. Whether it's God Almighty or if it's the mighty dollar We follow the prophets like Islamics do the Dalai lama. Jay Electronica scored points on the 2010 Watch This Space list of debut albums but didn't really show that much on this track. J. Cole as usual has his sick flow does all but outshine these gurus. He opens his verse with a round of multies . . . with bars that tell us exactly what he's planning to do to hiphop. 'I will really go Columbine and throw up a diamond sign' J. Cole says he's 'coming raw' so he needs to 'throw a condom on' Mos Def goes seriously metaphorical and makes J. Cole's claims of being clever sound like child's play. He spits wisdom that'll make you sit back and reflect. And pure power don't power trip . . .All about nothing where it's all about the dollar And mansions on the fault line of a shaky market . . . Overall I think this track tells us how good 2010 is going to be for hiphop. I'll like to see what y'all think about it. |
@FL Gators Seeing that you're feeling J. Cole, I thought you might like this. Song for the Ville - J. Cole [flash=450,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TdsZ6gVAE8&hl=en_GB&fs=1&[/flash] |
Sagamite:I nominate you to take the role of the manager for the Super Eagles. ![]() This is exactly what ladies don't understand. After bringing about ten experiences together, you can begin to form correlations and recurring trends. It's just logic, that's why guys that grow up around loads of brothers and cousins are generally good with ladies. |
ibkaye:Hehehe . . . as long as you didn't go to any rehearsal session, I'm aiite with that. Those guys have turned church into sumn else.
U don't wanna miss those hugs on Sunday evenings.
Is it me or are those choir chics in Lighthouse just hotttt??And it's almost like they don't know especially with the way they say 'I love you, darling' every second. |
She was expecting the dude to cover up the murder of an unborn baby. ![]() The same chorister is the one telling us to always follow the Lord's commandments. Tell you what. . . . . We are in a bottle.
Infact, I think I need to visit one of these Nigerian churches. ![]() I was wondering why you suddenly got extremely interested in church and 'house fellowship' ![]() ibkaye:Weren't you the one inviting me to Prayer Meeting the other day?? Just promise me you won't join the choir ![]() |
These ladies have turned our Churches into a shagging ground. You are more likely to find a LovePeddler in the Church these days than on Allen Avenue.
I know . . . it's these same people that call themselves worship leaders/praise team. They're meant to be examples for people like Ibkaye that go to church every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday ![]()
Buncha hypocrites!!!!
I saw four pages of bashing and I decided to read the story. So one chorister shags and eliminates a life, and the badguy is the one that told a friend?? They can't shut their legs but they expect us to cover their secrets for them . . . fucking whores. |
@poster Your friend is a demented idiot. For bleep's sake is that what people do in the choirs these days?? S.h.a.g each other and abort babies?? I'm sure she's one of the 'lift u holy hands' people. I've never seen any more justifiable case than this. You judge a man for telling his friends about what he's done when you can't keep your legs shut?? Ladies are a joke sometimes. Sorry guys . . . excuse my French. |
lalaboi u should be shot!!!!! ![]() |
rapjunkie:Hehehe . . . isn't DOA for rappers only?? I've heard him sing live, he's got a really good voice, you heard it here first. ![]() |
mailmalc:King was really good, I can't seem to find it on Youtube. There's this Lagos Town song I saw him perform in Nottingham Uni a few months back. It was crazy . . . I think that one will be on the album. He's signed to a UK label and still repping Naija, we just got out Wyclef Jean. ![]() |
javalove:Hehe . . . because he's not dropping cocoyam head bars abi?? ![]() |
You'll most likely have heard of 'L' if you live in London. He's one of these people you're proud to point out as Nigerians He's worked with Chykay and has an album with one of the UK's biggest record labels in the pipeline. I met him and he's worked with Craig Davids and is planning a collabo with M.I. Dunno how he's not hit it in Naija yet but R'n'B fans need to know that there's finally someone to give Banky and Djinee a run for their ego. What do you guys think of him?? [flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5-fpu_RM84&hl=en[/flash] |
Commercially, this dude is ready to stun the market . . . a lil online hype like Drake, he'll build a fanbase. He'll sell any good beat and make most songs become hits. One thing I have to point out is, he needs to get a signature. The fact that he's doing a song on someone's beat doesn't mean he has to sound exactly like the person. He's quite flexible with his delivery but he needs to stick with one style that everyone can recognise. I listened to the Overkilling freestyle and he couldn't totally tear away from the way M.I rapped on the song. The two verses he did on Lagos Party sounded like stuff from two totally different people. Overall . . . I think he's commercially viable and his lines are good enough to have a hiphop fan listen but his voice is smooth enough to get the market too. |
This thread is a joke. I laugh in fuji. 'Gborie wegbee tosibee terisi oshamo' ![]() |
@topic I think it's extra . . . but it's okay by Diddy's standards. We can't understand their lifestyle . . . he's worth about $250mil, this doesn't touch him. chiogo:Paris Hilton is successful . . . why?? She's making extra money even when she doesn't need to. She's famous for being rich and getting richer for being famous, how many people do that?? Diddy's Sean-John has won awards where the Ralph Laurens and Guccis stand. He's produced what is considered the greatest rap album of all time, B.I.G, Jay Lo, Mary J Blige, Mase have sold platinums through him. He is a multi-platinum selling artiste . . . His club is so recognised that it hosts VMA afterparties He's good at show business . . . he's successful at it. He's been in college, the whole ebonics thing is just showbiz . . . I heard him speaking on Obama's Election day, he speaks Anglais amdemoiselle. |
Of course it has. it hasnt destroyed the skills in the other premier league players like Cristiano Ronaldo who was there for 6 years he became best player in the world and went to madrid. I wonder why it hasnt stopped Essien from being one of the best midfielders in the world. It also destroyed Obasi's skills, Odemwingie,Nsofor,Ayila,Taiwo, and all the others players who play in other foreign leagues. It is also the reason Amodu is crap and the reason the NFA are hopeless. Also its the reason for the fuel scarcity in Nigeria. is there anything else we can blame the English premier league for. If so please add on. its better we put our heads in the sand and believe the reason our team is crap is due to the English premier league and if not for them we would be winning the world cup every 4 years. Morons.
The juju in the EPL only works for Nigerian players. It doesn't affect Ivorian players like Eboue, Toure, and Drogba. . . infact Song and Kalou have a remedy to the jazz. ![]() Are you trying to argue, some people are incapable of thinking straight. They're praising people for being starters in Norway and Germany and comparing it to the cutthroat competition in the EPL. In a league where players like Santa Cruz, Nani and Deco are bench players, where will Obasi find a shirt?? |
Dance - Nas Jesus finally got his bride, mummy dance with him FL Gators:I see sumone's been listening to the next Kanye. ![]()
nice . . .bumpin strugglin, ma old home and soobax by k'naan
The guy's a breath of fresh air . . . he's great. He's pure undiluted talent. |
lalaboi:I have all those players too. See Bleep up, me and Chamo don dey drag teamsheet, na wa ooh |
I teach niggas sign language, that ain't def son [click, click] you heard that? That mean RUN Momma said, Everything that happened to us, was part of God's plan So at night when I talk him, I got my gun in my hand You Not Like Me - 50 Cent |
Life's a b.i.t.c.h I hope to not make her a widow Survive the droughts, I wish you well How sick am I?? I wish you health. I wish you wheels, I wish you wealth I wish you insight so you can see for yourself Jay-Z - American Dreamin' |
debosky:Boredom sex, break up sex, birthday sex, holiday sex, emotional breakdown sex, surprise sex, pity sex . . . I can go on ![]() But at the end of the day, you base the whole thing on sex . . . it's not as much fun anymore. They're hard to resist. You: Hey baby, shit, I had a bad day at work, my boss is killing me. Michelle: I know what'll help you, naughty boy. |
This is sooooo good. . . I'm not even a Super Eagle and I'm inspired. But why did it have to come this late?? We needed it just after the Egypt game. The beat is ill BTW . . . the way it's influenced by traditional Nigerian music is out-of-this-world. We just found our World Cup song. . . . Cobhams and Tuface?? This is the best Nigeria's got to offer. What's with the notjustok.com in weird places?? Ovie really needs to chill. |
Sagamite:Now the question if it's right to do it, but if it's possible. I'm saying it is definitely possible. Besides, a smart guy will not go to her and tell her to go all Britney on you. C'mon, we've got ways of making women do what we want . . . just the same way they know how to get us to do stuff. If you spend 15 mins with Britney and Angelina, I can guarantee you that you will feel the aura of which is naturally sexy from their everyday mannerism. Some are born hottttt, others achieve hotness ![]() |
Sagamite:One question . . . have you seen Rihanna lately?? Believe me, we're in the day and age where make-up(hairstylist included), clothes and a good trainer/doctor will perform wonders on any woman. We've seen people like Fergie and Britney Spears become sex icons right in front of us. |
