Romance › Re: Women Which Do You Prefer, Se|x Or Cute Factor? by eldee(m): 8:19pm On Jan 26, 2010
Of course I'll go with the cutie.
A babyfaced hottie could turn out to be a freak in the sheets anyway . . . so you get the best of both worlds.
Besides, the right outfit and make-up will convert any cutie into a sex-bomb in a sec.
while some parents may see it as a harmless act or just a thing of the moment for many children it does directly/indirectly affect their self esteem especially through the teenage years particularly when used repetitively.
Exactly.

It also makes them unable to express themselves amongst their peers in a sociable manner.
They find it hard to express slight displeasure without resorting to heavily abusive words.

It's so much better to talk to them and express what you think about their actions in clear words so they don't pick up socially repugnant habits.

What books? Freemasonry is not what these people portray it to be. It is not devil worship. So which book did you read that they flash beasts to have control over our minds? Much ado about nothing

Music/Radio › Re: Chris Brown Vs O' Marion & Usher Vs Ginuwine by eldee(m): 2:39pm On Jan 26, 2010
I'll go with Ginuwine . . . he's smooth and fluid.
The best thing about him is that he makes it seem effortless . . . and he doesn't just go there to copy all MJ's moves.
He's also sleek with the whole thing, he doesn't look like a backup dancer, if you get what I mean.

I saw Usher doing the chair thing . . . nah. It's not about ipa ati agbara.

Omarion is pretty smooth too . . .

Chris Brown is probably the most creative of the lot.
He's young, athletic and extremely creative. . . that makes him amazing on stage.

The Departed was a fantasic movie -- so was the original. If they managed to get the re-make interesting I don't see why Pelham 123 should give the same effect of a deflated heavenly feeling.
I think the whole problem came from the original itself . . . it's not good enough for our time.
The story seems like child's play compared to today's heist/hijack movies.

Back then, movies were allowed to slowly unfold, nowadays . . . that's a crime.
Even the way they didn't make the story of Denzel's character interesting enough was dissapointing.
The plot was simply not good enough for today.

I listened to it a couple of years ago, it changed my whole perspective on rap.
It made me step back and think of guys I rated so highly and see how stupid they look.

He's talented . . . and African.

Hmm . . . I wanted a gunner to win this league but it seems like I have to do this the hard way.
If I let Muki win this week, she'll crumble like Vela on the big stage against Ibime and Tboy.

If I really need sumn done, I'll have to do it myself.
So Muki, I'm sorry it had to come to this . . . bt you're dead and gone like Borat grin grin

It wasn't just you o, I wasn't impressed by it either.
I suggest that unless Travolta has some great, out of this world, outstanding scripts, he should just sit back and relax. That movie made a mockery of his 25yrs on screen. Denzel still has some hits and misses so I'll give him a pass.
Unfortunately, I'm much to uneasy to be completely enamoured by a TV series. I am yet to find the series (except maybe Family Guy for it's absolutely zero sense of political correctness) that'll will have me gagging for more.
I can't blame them though . . . it was a remake so they had to stick to the original base.

TV series don't impress you?? You've not seen 24. cheesy

I've been feeling this song for two days now.

Damian Marley just made what would probably the best rap song of the first quarter of the year.
Nas was on point . . . I was actually hoping for a narrative though.

They pushed back the release date of the Distant Relatives.

Thing is 24 and other TV series are far more creative than the movies . . . except once in a while when there's this big thing.
It's just the same way no one that's played Halo will ever be impressed with District 9.

LOL True, I get what you're saying. But I dont think that attitude will get him anywhere.
Critiques seems to enjoy fights and arguments between rappers. Imagine the Mariah vs. Em fight lol.
I get what you're saying, but in the Rap world, sweetness is not going to cut it.
Some say Drake is overrated, but he's still popular. Not only because he's lyrical and musical, but also because of his "Haters keep hating" attitude. Or dont you agree?
I see where you're coming from but you need to understand that Drake, J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco and all these college boy rappers are different.
They behavioural expectations placed on them are not the same as the 50 Cents and Rick Rosses.

Drake and Lupe are both loved more for their 'I'm a gentleman'/good-guy attitutude.
It shows in the way people reacted to the Best I Ever Had video. . . does anyone complain about 50's Candy Shop or Nelly's Work It??
People expect these guys to behave different, mouthing off in an interview will do more harm for his career than anything else.
It'll be as bad as the Kanye case grin grin grin

The Departed

That movie is the first crime drama movie I've doffed my hat for since I started following 24.
You guys won't understand but 24 makes The Taking of Pelham 123 look like a Nollywood movie

I never knew the time will come when sumone will mention humble and Jay-Z in one sentence . . . cheesy cheesy
Thing with Jay-Z is, he's now all grown up. . . he's seen everything, he's bigger than hiphop now, so he's learnt stuff on the way to the top . . .

J. Cole is 22 or sumn, signed to Roc Nation, and is already critically acclaimed, this is when rappers get mouthy.
But he answered in a way most rappers wouldn't. . . The Game, Kanye, 50, you've seen 'em.

50 cent?? Jayz??
C'mon now Eldee, thats an unfair comparism.

Unfortunately, I'm struggling to think of a single black American artist/entertainer that could make Taio and Dizzee Rascal appear intelligent.
I used 'em because they dropped out of school pretty early.
They lived in pretty rough neighbourhoods, and have been stereotyped.
The UK is more of a welfare state than America . . . the literally paid these plonkers to go to school and this is what we get??
The interviewer kept saying 'Mr Rascal, what do you think about this??' and not once did he stop to think.

Remember his lines 'All I care about is sex and violence'
Are you serious . . . in 2010?? Aren't these people role models?? I know kids that worship these guys.
