One thing everyone seems to forget is the fact that punishing people for diving is just punishing them for poor judgement from refrees.
How can Platini be this stupid??

Case 1: Eduardo dives against Celtic, refree is too stupid to get him and he wins the penalty: Banned.

Case 2: Eboue dives against Man Utd, Mike Dean gives him a yellow card : No Ban.

What's the difference between the two of them, afterall they were both involved in 'simulation'.
One of the refrees was stupid. . . simples. undecided

Why should Eduardo get a ban for a refree's stupid decision when another player escapes with a yellow card??
Or didn't they commit the same sin??
At the end of the day, the only cases players get punished for are the ones involving stupid refrees.
I used two Arsenal players to highlight the fact that it's not only the preferential treatment some teams get from UEFA I'm not okay with.

Platini's been stupid here . . . he needs to look carefully at what he's going into.

Lol now Im confused

eldee is this about Saheed or Jefferson Keane? (both were Muslims)
Karim Saheed . . . the black dude that made sumone punch him twice.
Are u talking about Saheed or who?
TBH, i couldn't stand Saheed's pedantry when i saw Oz the first time. . . . .He gets too cocky for his own good.
O'Riley is the man. . . . . .
Yep, Saheed.
How did he become an alpha dawg?? Those kind of guys should be the ones taking it from behind.

Afterall, it's the penal system . . .
I don't see why he got a smooth ride to the top if he didn't beat up anyone

Seeing that Eldee FC is now in a UEFA Cup challenge spot, I'll need to put another massive effort to make it into the top ten.

I'm planning to waste another four points to get rid of Hangeland, seems like Fulham is not just it for this season . . . and with Stoke City looking like a 'park the team bus infront of the goalpost' team, I'm thinking of getting Huth into my team.

@tubabie
Congrats by the way, you leaped to the position I was last week grin

debosky:
That's the sad reality of Arsenal fans at the moment - there's always some magical solution to the problems - 'experience', more players, etc. And of course, losing a game means we are going to collapse and the entire season will be over before we even know it. undecided Someone even suggested protesting and walking out of a game to make sure the referees don't make bad decisions against us. shocked shocked cheesy
Are you going to try to act like this hasn't worked at Arsenal and elsewhere??
Denilson has accumulated 63 Arsenal appearances . . . are you telling me you've not seen how the experience has helped him??
Bendtner has over 150 club career caps, Djourou(87), Song (78), Walcott (106) all with Arsenal. . . we've seen how experience has helped shape these youngsters

Now what concerned Arsenal fans have been saying is simple . . . why grow these players when we can just just bring in  the experience?? Like we did with Arshavin??
Do we really need to go trophyless while the other teams get a 4-year headstart??
You call it magic, to me and the a mojority of the fans, it's a flipping no-brainer.

At the end of the day Wenger still needs experienced hands on deck, but he's decided to spend five years getting 'em.
