I'm no more watcjing this . . . I saved all my adrenaline for the World Cup, why will I waste it on a first round match at Wimbledon?? |
mystikal:Federer's dropshots are coming . . . he is genius!!! |
I am listening to RECOVERY. . . . . Tennis sucks in these early rounds.
This is the best first round match ever . . . Federer is struggling. |
Did you see that?? |
mystikal:Seems like you don't know Roger . . . a few of those drop-shots and he'll be back from the dead. |
He assisted TWO GOALS. The perfect cross for Hugo Almeida. The fifth goal couldn't be his assist as the Korean defender tried to clear it but made a balls outta it and the deflection went to Liedson. That isn't Contreao's assist. The seventh goal should be his assist - i agree. They might update it later. . . .Cheer up. . . .your defender got 2 assists + keeping a clean sheet(isn't that enough?)
My keeper is not playing, I need to all the points I can get. Are you watching Federer?? |
What's with Federer and these moments of brillance?? |
Whose 3 crosses is that? I remember Ronaldo getting 1 assist(from a cross). Can't remember making 3 crosses that directly led to a goal. He copped one.
Contreao. |
tkb417:It is Federer juju ![]() |
The way assists are given varies. . . . . . FIFA are shyte though. . . . . .They denied Van Persie his assist when Holland spanked Denmark 1-0 in their first group game.
Three crosses gave goals, just one assist. |
mystikal:Just watch . . . Federer just won the match with that set. |
mystikal:It's Federer lck is always on his side, and when he gets that bit of luck, he goes into this god-like form. It's annoying. |
According to Soccernet, Contreao had three assists . . . FIFA says it's just one. I wish the English FA did their own version of a WC Fantasy thingy, McDonalds should stick to cheeseburgers. |
Falla is now injured . . . groin is a biatch!!! |
mbulela:Hehehe . . . you're questioning my use of language instead of the point I raised?? Anyway, xenophobia is the fear of an alien group/concept/way of life. . . moral panic is just the expression of anger towards a set of people because of a deviation from what has been falsely considered right for a long time. In this case people that watched football in the 70s/80s are scared that the way players are getting money these days and feel it should be blamed for everything that happens in modern football. Any more grammar lessons you want to give me?? mbulela:Dude, you're taking the blame away from the manager and putting it on the players and money. 'Commercialisation' is not to blame for this, players have been going on strike before money came into football. Evra isn't earning up to half what Kaka used to at Milan, yet we never heard of Kaka talking back to Dunga. Messi is being played out of position by Maradona, he's too scared to say anything . . . it's not about the money, it is the Manager. |
mbulela:This is just a xenophobic display of moral panic. . . what does money have to do with this?? Yeah, the players are rich but is that what made the coach unable to control them?? They are unprofessional not because they are rich, but because of the coach . . . Evra cannot try that with Ferguson, Wenger eliminated the mafia one after the other at Arsenal. MRbrownJAY:That will be using extreme force and will backfire if he doesn't win. When Zidane, Henry and Ribery combined to take France to the final of the last World Cup, everyone forgot about how stupid Domenech was. The key is winning . . . you don't need a unified team to win, you just need them to be professional. And besides. . . suspending Evra, Ribery and Gallas will effectively waste a generation of French football. |
All this just makes things more and more difficult for the next coach. Blanc comes in and being an inexperienced coach will think the easiest way to deal with the mafia is to use force. . . this will lead to a reaction from them and it gets bigger. The behaviour of these rags to riches French players is irritating. . . remember they almost destroyed Arsenal too. |
Hehe! Got him carefully stowed away on the bench. . .
He still got 8 points . . . |
Kaka is a bloody retard!!! Imbecilic behaviour from him, now I'll lose three points!!! |
Moved to Music Business. |
Thirteen . . . now this is how to make a low-budget movie!!! |
Is it the same Eyeama that couldn't catch a corner kick to save his life two years ago that's being compared to Lehman?? If he were that good, why has he been in the Isreali League for almost a decade now?? This is what the World Cup does to a player, a few good performances and you get knighted. One word . . . KLEBERSON!!! |
Moved to Music Business. |
Kidulthood and Adulthood . . . okay movies. |
Off-topic Did I mention that I've met Immortal Technique before?? At the O2 . . . the British Music Experience Event. ![]() He wasn't performing or anything, funny enough we were the only ones that recognised him. |
Krayola:I was listening to Jay-Z talk on Oprah the other day and I was like 'this school of hard knocks should be in the Ivy League'. ![]() I just don't like it when the so-called conscious rappers come to act like they're better than the rest of the rappers . . . like 'dude, you're not even smart'. |
bouzymill:Yeah I do agree, I'm a big fan of diversity in hiphop. I'm just saying the when we start asking, it puts pressure on the ones already there to deviate from what they actually know how to do. bouzymill:I agree with you here again, and I used the CNN figuratively too. But I have to disagree with the part where you said politics is reflected in the lives of everyday black people. Nah . . . politics is not as significant in our everyday lives as you want it to sound. bouzymill:Immortal Technique is an agenda artist, you either agree with his views or you see them as extremely daft. Listen to 'Cause of Death' and see how daft he comes across. . . Oh . . . so you wanna go all Marxist on me now?? Egbon, relax abeg. ![]() Immortal Technique shows signs of someone who's read too much from controversy websites and mixed it with anger against the Criminal Justice System. Besides, if you say school is telling you how to think, doesn't Immortal Technique do just that too?? |
To be able to talk politics, you need to be able to watch different channels and read different articles from different extremes to draw out your own perspective. NO one wants to do that. Since it doesn't sound like FACEBOOK@Bouzymill You listen to some rappers talk about politics and ignorance just pours out . . . and you wonder why people will rather listen to them talk about rims?? It's what they do best, making music is easier for them than being socio-political icons. It's not bad though, hiphop is about self-expression for black people, they're mirrors of the world they grew up in, and that world didn't include CNN. In my opinion, it's quite good to be politically active and all that, but it's not a duty. Their main purpose should be to make good music, and that's the only thing you can fault them for. I'd rather Young Jeezy stuck to bling . . . 'My President is black, My lambo's blue' just doesn't sound right. I've listened to Immortal Technique talk . . . he actually sounds quite intelligent in interviews, unlike in his albums. He's good with words and all . . . but when he starts the controversy B.S, they just don't make sense. That's the difference between hearing someone that learnt in school and one that learnt on Wikipedia. |
hax:You can have expectations . . . but it's bullshitting when you come here to say you made the statement after listening to it on your 'thingamajiggy'. And when you try to use the fact that I waited to listen to the album against me, it makes you look more stupid. hax:I'm allergic to B.S, if you're going to come here one minute and say sumn and go back next minute . . . I can't be faulted for refusing to take you serious. hax:Oh . . . so the fact that you said 'will' makes it less of a pre-conceived view?? Here I was thinking English was your first language. hax:Stop being a numbskull . . . if you quote someone in a debate, it is only reasonable that what you type underneath should be a reply to that quote. You saying sumn and then going 'oh don't take that serious' is typical of any debate with you, a waste of time. hax:Good riddance. hax:You're such a retard, I don't expect you to know that there's more than one way to make good music. hax:Mozart was good at what he claimed to know, you're just tone-deaf . . . there's a difference. hax:Whatever homie. |
DO - Wear sunglasses if you're going with the Usher/Jay-Z look, it's more common these days . . . the above posters are just fighting hard not to accept it. - Ralph Lauren Polos are evergreen, they are safe and classy. - A vest does a lot to help control sweat, and it will make anyone look fit. - Lynx pocket deodorants are not bad, summers are unpredictable, you never know when your mate will challenge you to a Basketball match on your way back from work. - Get a clean haircut, makes life easier. - Colours are trendy, stick with the up down colour-gradient. - If you live in the UK, light jackets are needed, it gets cold in a flash. - Come on, you're black, a few excercises really go a long way in eliminating that belly-bump. |
rapjunkie:Well, I've seen M.I live . . . play another card. As I said, I don't have time for this . . . you can continue discussing with your clones, I've got Kaita to attend to. |
