@nike Baybee . . . did you miss me?? ![]() Pweety4me:Yeah . . . it's a crime in some countries to have these many goodlooking chics on one thread without a cool guy to balance it ![]() follypimpi:Wetin you come dey look since?? You no even fit call person. ![]() |
Damn . . . why have we got a light-skinned hottie on this thread?? I need to come here more often maynne. |
chiogo:You're a groupie that doesn't get metaphorical phrases . . . this is way beyond you. ![]() kay29000:Erm . . . maybe he didn't kill him, he only had the best line on the whole album. . . come on. If you listened hard enough you'll know that what Jay-Z did on that track was just name-dropping. I'm a Jay fan, but I know when he's been made to look ordinary on a track . . . just like I know when he's trashing Kanye on Diamonds Are Forever. Forget the pace, Jay-Z came harder than Lil Wayne on Mr Carter. |
dayokanu:Oya nie maynne . . . so meaning the next time Bayern will reach the final is 2100?? |
RuuDie: SMH!!! |
I've watched about twenty Sandra Bullock movies . . . she acts the same way all the time. If they really want to give Oscars for free, they should just cart them to Julia Robert's backyard. ![]() |
That PC looks too good to be true . . . what's the catch?? My PC costs £600 and it's not half as good as that. Wow . . . I actually do need to stop this Sony Vaio addiction that I have. I always look forward to seeing you and Krayola work together . . . it's a perfect formula. ![]() |
Adding to the population ke?? Didn't we warn you guys not to let 2face in?? ![]() I think it's better for both African artistes on the global stage. It's easier for us to have influence as outside as African acts rather than just Nigerian or Kenyan. Besides, East Africans appear to be more in touch with African culture than Nigeria . . . Even your rappers stay true to their identity as Africans. . .Gidi Gidi Maji Maji was just on another level, I like Nameless too. And K'naan, a Somali born Canadian is probably my favourite artiste right now. An African music industry will definitely help us the same way the Latin Music genre helped both the Spanish and Latin American guys. |
Infact I'm going to Ether you, but erm . . . I'll need a producer. Do you mind producing my Elrazur diss track for me?? ![]() I'll promise not to go too hard on you if you produce it. ![]() |
@Rhymestein How long did it take M.I to come to Benin?? How long did it take X-Project to get to Edo State?? You know I'll sniff you out if you lie. . . igbo boy:The problem is, my sources say otherwise. I can come here and say Isolate rules London . . . does that mean you should believe me?? |
mbulela:So you didn't just figure out that the beats are the most important part of party music?? A good beat is half a hit . . . and Terry G makes his own beats. |
@Chiogo You guys don't get this. This is someone that's already being compared to Drake . . . so acting like it's not a battle is some B.I.G Juicy ish. If you're going to get trashed on a track, let it be by someone that's without doubt better than you, or has been there for some time, not someone you started with. No one gave a toss when Jay-Z trashed Kanye on Diamonds Are Forever remix, but when J. Cole killed Jay-Z on A Star is Born, it became a national issue. If you want to trash someone on your song, instead of featuring Soulja boy why don't you just switch up your game. Rick Ross did just that with Nas on Usual Suspects. chiogo:One word . . . RENEGADE ![]() |
Of course he's not the greatest, well . . . we'll just have to wait and see what he'll do next. What's more annoying is the fact that most people don't want to tell him the truth. |
hax:There are good rappers and then there are those that are out to steal your shine. J. Cole is of em. . . If you want a good rapper, get The Game or sumn, not this hungry upstart whose main objective in life is to outshine your arse like Eminem did back in the days. ![]() |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Nah, there is a difference between free promo and the way M.I talks about Jagz It's more like respect and envy . . . DBR gave me this unreleased song and he did a song on his deepest emotions, one of em was the envy and jealousy he felt for Jagz. We will see him really soon, at least he never disappointed in a any of the collabos, if Overkilling Remix, Blaze and Choc Boys had been on the album, it would be a different story now. |
Pweety4me:I've heard people say that too . . . I think it's all in our heads. The ice cubes and the cream sensation just gets you thinking it's sexy. |
bluespice:The whole point of the Baileys is to make sure the mix is odd. And also to make sure the milk makes you puke if you can't handle it. It's one of them ones you never develop a resistance for. luizworld:Beer is not good for your tummy bro, besides it doesn't get you drunk. If you need to go slow, Vodka + Lemonade will do. . . avoid beer. |
luizworld:Vodka gets just hits you for fifteen minutes and leaves, no matter how much you take. That cocktail knocks you out . . . I'm a witness. This is the only thing that's made me come home with an ugly chic. ![]() |
Aiite . . . 24 gave us a black President. Maybe 24 will actually give us peace in the Middle East too?? Beans?? ![]() |
luizworld:So it's simple Vodka that's making you do Free Madness?? What will you start doing when you try my Whiskey, Rum, Vodka and Baileys cocktail?? You'll prolly pass out in the club's toilet till daybreak. ![]() |
mbulela:If I needed to listen to 'intellectual' music to prove that I'm educated, then I should probably return my certificate and get my school-fees refunds, shouldn't I??
@Eldee You Tomahawk'd it!! I still find it to believe he is the one that rapped on 'Blaze' or maybe he had a ghostwriter cos how could he do such tight verses and come up with the weak stuffs he's been doing lately. At the mo he is kinda riding on M.I's rep and the wheels would soon fall off
Nah . . . it's not a ghostwriter, it's just one bad album. This guy is called the Greatest, it's not just for show. M.I talks about him with fear and envy in his tone, you don't get that from ghostwriters. IMO, when a producer needs to do an album, he should step back and get people to help him. He should have had Eldee produce the album for him. |
Forever young, I wanna be forever young. |
B00gie:I just don't understand it maynne . . . you see person wey make Jay-Z look like Soulja Boy, come make Wale look like Britney Spears and you go dey call am to do collabo for your album. Even Jay-Z still dey suffer Renegade syndrome till today, na im Drake wan go do im own. ![]() kay29000:Come on man . . . we're way past this. Well B00gie gave you your answer. |
Scholes's colleagues speak of him in almost disbelieving tones. "He'll do ridiculous things in training," Rio Ferdinand says. "He'll say: 'You see that tree over there?' – it'll be 40 yards away – 'I'm going to hit it.' And he'll do it." Which kind lie be this na?? Them don turn football to Shaolin Soccer |
B.S . . . you're saying Igbinedion is full of Gidi Indigenes?? What of Uniben?? BTW check your stats Port Hacourt and Benin guys rule Igbinedion . . . ask anyone. . . there are more Obasekis than Adewales over there. Uniben has a higher proportion of Lagos students than Igbins. . . Wasn't it on this same Nairaland that someone came to say M.I wasn't known in Benin and Warri?? You guys in your tiny cliques think you're the Billboard of Edo State. Now you're dragging it and comparing Dagrin's airplay to Terry G . . . you see how desperate you are now?? You said the language barrier stopped him from getting airplay in Benin and I'm saying as a hiphop artiste in Nigeria, you've conquered a state if you've conquered their Uni/Poly. . . with what I've heard, Dagrin held his own in all Unis in Edo State. . . that's where radio spins are decided for hiphop. Now till you give me anything that proves otherwise, you're spewing bollocks. |
Rhymstein:Your guys are uninformed like you, that's the only explanation. Besides, are you going to deny that hiphop in Nigeria was born in the Universities?? Isn't that where you know if a song is hot or not?? Tell me what hiphop song doesn't get Uni recognition before hitting radio?? I brought up Okada because of it's remoteness to the rest of Edo State, and still they get the CDs from Benin. I used the example of X-project because I was there when all man used to go to Hexagon and Tumba was on heavy rotation. You were still writing JAMB back then and you're coming here to tell me Yoruba guys don't hit in Benin . . . B.S |
Hehehe . . . finally, he grew the balls. I don't know why rappers will never learn, how will you put hungry guys like J.Cole on your song?? Na wa ooh . . . it's not even a mixtape or sumn, an album. Someone should help Drake reject the spirit of Renegade by fire by force. ![]() |
Drake Announces Possible Collabo with J.Cole and Lupe Fiasco. Drake premiered his follow-up to "Over" early Thursday morning (April 29), the Kanye West-produced "Find Your Love." He recently shot a video for the track in Jamaica, and images from the set have leaked online. Two other Thank Me Later tracks, "Fireworks" and "Shut It Down" (featuring The-Dream), have sprung up online. Drake also revealed during the call that he might have a bonus track on his debut album featuring Lupe Fiasco and upstart MC J. Cole. "I think that would be a special moment for hip-hop fans," he said, before adding a joke. "For people that are disappointed when I drop songs like 'Find Your Love,' I think they would appreciate that. Hopefully they're both willing." http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1638143/20100429/drake.jhtml |
