How is smith an asshole when she is merely doing her job? huh Remember, this is a collective decision and not just hers.

The BNP will never go main stream, and to be honest I am not in anyway worried about them.

I am not here to make any one a believer. smiley

Please point out where I mentioned processed food is been sold in tantalizer.

Below is what I said exactly

"My last trip to lagos saw me eating at tantalizer in Yaba, Gosh no offence but the food just smell dodgy to me, I just opted for mirinda and watched my nephews devour my portion."

There is no physical without the spiritual; its the common sense of living in a malevolent world.

Lies - what processed foods do they sell in Tantalizers where you said you couldnt eat the food cos of the whatever - taste or something?
Learn to understand people's post. I am telling busi-bodi that I didnt have processed food when I grew up in Nigeria. Most processed food back home during when I was growing up are luxury goods. Hence why I have more of fresh foods instead.

The food in tantalizer smell off to me. I will trust my sense of smell than any other person when it comes to food. Hence why I refused to have it. Who mentioned processed food in tantaliser? Gosh dude. You will need to try harder.  smiley

I was just about to give up, but let me ask elrazur a question.

If words become harmless when labeled fiction, why then does censorship exist for fictional works?
Dude. I see your arguments, but it is irrelevant to the point at hand. A fictional movie owe us nothing to include factual location in a comic-book adaptation movie!

Censorship exist for all movies, this censorship bodies decides what is acceptable for it movie's target audience etc. The fact that a fictional film is a movie, it would therefore be subjected to the same laws and scrutiny other non-fictional movies are subjected to! huh

same processed food  are what 'whites' are now runing away from and they go after 'bio-foods'; that we take for granted in Africa.!
You can come across as ignorant sometimes.

I am saying, I hardly have to worry about "expiry dates" because I had little processed food when I was in Nigeria. I instead had freshly prepared food. However, given my knowledge now, there is no way I will go home and just eat anything.

Do you even know what you are talking about? huh
PoliticsRe: Expired Coca Cola Selling In Nigeria by ElRazur: 5:03pm On May 06, 2009
Mai Suya:
NA wa o! I fear you oh! 60years? why then do they put expiry dates in the first place?

@OP this ya narrative sweet sha!
It is true. I will dig out a link for you in a moment. There actually two dates in the UK here used on products [if you buy them in the supermarket] One is the "Display until" or "Use by" date and "Expiry date" The first two serves as a guideline, and depending on food type it is necessary to maintain a "display until" date e.g Milk, cheese etc.

It is also argued that the dates are used by manufacturer so as to sell their product quickly.

As for the expiry date, as long as the integrity of the can or air tight container is in place, then it is usually okay. However, if it is compromised, then you can be killed instantly from eating it in some extreme case. This is caused by anaerobic bacteria called Botulism.

Here is the link. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/4693520.stm

A man celebrated his golden wedding anniversary by eating a 50-year-old tin of chicken.

Les and Beryl Lailey, of Denton, Gtr Manchester, were given the chicken in a hamper on their wedding day in 1956.

The Buxted Chicken tin remained in their kitchen cupboard until the couple marked 50 years together this month.

"We kept it safe, and I always said 'on my 50th wedding anniversary I'm going to eat that chicken' - so I did," said former soldier, Mr Lailey, aged 73.

"When we got married I'd just come out of the Army and we had very little money, so we did our own buffet.

"We got a hamper as a present and included in it was this whole chicken in a tin. We didn't use it and packed it away and kept it."

The pair met at an Irish pub in Hulme, Manchester.

"I had to go back to the Army almost straight after we met, but we kept in touch by writing letters. I came home and we got married," Mr Lailey added.

Prof Eunice Taylor, a food safety expert at the University of Salford, said: "Canned food can last indefinitely if it has been sealed properly, although the normal shelf life is about six months.

"If it's done at high temperatures and under high pressure, then the process should create a tight vacuum.

"If anyone is going to eat old canned food, I would suggest they heat it thoroughly first of all, just in case to be extra
There you go. I rest my case.

But the guy said that it tasted funny, so their must have been a hole somewhere, and also food expires faster when kept in heat and considering Nigeria, that coke been bad and the shop owner knew it.

It makes me mad that ppl know a food is bad and they still sell it.  McDonalds dont even let food stay over 3 hours much less a diner with poor electricity selling bad chicken thats been sitting there all day, and probaly even yesterday!   lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

I went to a shop one night to get some icecream and I was so surpised that I was handed me a soup like cream and expected they me to buy it. Haha not with my naira!  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
It is hard to give any conclusive comments on "it taste funny" to be honest. It could be "flat", it could be anything. I cant comment either if the shop owner purposely sells expired products. smiley

I think one of the issues is the fact there isnt a "Food handling" course given back home. Anyone can put three stone together, a big fan and start frying akara. Most of the Buka and eateries back home wont even pass a basic hygiene test to be honest. Just because a restaurant looks good and have posh chairs do not mean it is a safe place to eat.

My last trip to lagos saw me eating at tantalizer in Yaba, Gosh no offence but the food just smell dodgy to me, I just opted for mirinda and watched my nephews devour my portion.

PoliticsRe: Expired Coca Cola Selling In Nigeria by ElRazur: 4:13pm On May 06, 2009
People are making a few misconceptions here. Expired food do not automatically means food poisoning! An expired food that is air tight or still sealed is as good as a freshly made food. Canned food have been know to last 60 years from the expiry date. It was eaten and nothing happened to the people.

Food poisoning is caused entirely by poor food handling, the surface it was prepare, contaminated packaging etc.

Majority of hardcore gamers play atleast 4 to 9 hours nonstop if not 24 hours!!  grin

Personaly, my life revolves around my PS3, PS2 and PS1. I am a strict Sony Fan. I only use Playstation. Just like how football fans remain loyal to their clubs I remain loyal to Playstation.
I wont even call myself an hardcore gamer despite the fact that I played ridge racer 7 for almost 4hours yesterday and some few hours more when I got back home.

A guy died after playing almost 3days non-stop of WOW in china, and similar case are being reported. Now that is what I call a hardcore gamer.

ThiefOfHearts:
is this the first time youve seen people go crazy over inaccuracies in movies? fictional or not?
If am honest, you are asking me a very broad and difficult questions. The Jews went crazy over their portrayal in The Passion Of Christ, yet in my limited knowledge the movies appears to be true to the holy book on that particular aspect.

As for this very debate at hand, it is a bit over the top to expect the movies to stay true to Lagos, simply because we got a mention in the movie. A movie that is based entirely on fiction.
Foreign AffairsRe: Yank Racist Michel Savage Banned From Britain by ElRazur: 3:45pm On May 06, 2009
He announced he is suing the UK - especially Jaqui smith. I do hope he's got money to burn, because there is no way he is going to win.

I went and checked out his background when I say the story last night, and going by some of his records, he is clearly a controversial person and comes across as a supremacist in my opinion.

Im here to relate and enjoy the communal feeling of simple human interaction.  If I want to fight you or Bastage, a virtual forum is the wrong way to do it.  I cant throw a knuckle punch at you here for effective damage to your lips.  I can use words but their effect will not satisfy me, so its a waste of effort.  There has been no debate!  This has been nothing but accusations from you both.  Is that what you call debate, cussing and using vulgar words?  So if you want to challenge me to fight, do it the proper way and if you want to debate me, do it the proper way also.
Your post will suggest you are far from wanting to enjoy a communal feeling - Remember your other threads have a warning of some kind in the front.

If you want human interaction, perhaps you should actually socialise? Instead of posting half baked jargons? Just a thought.

There isn't a fight here, more or less a debate. Only that you won't agree with it because your flaws and non-sense statements have been pointed at you.

What vulgar words have I used against you? Are you quick to label anyone who points out the flaws in your statement? Or do you not see that your posts are nothing but condescending like I mentioned before? You are quick to claim people lack intelligence, when ironically it is obvious that you can do with a bit of "educationing".

I am more than happy to debate with you. If only you will stop trying to be this uber intelligent guy, when clearly you aint. Be who you are. Construct your views and points well and see if the response you want wont follow.

You know, I read your other thread and I decided against replying - not because of your opening lines- but because as a someone working in a medical field, half of what you presented in there is so inaccurate, and the fact that you come across as a"conspiracy theorist", it wont be worth my time actually typing out a reply to you. smiley

I do not know you, but I can only judge you on the manner of your posting. So far, you have just made me feel I should ignore you more am afraid.
PoliticsRe: Expired Coca Cola Selling In Nigeria by ElRazur: 3:31pm On May 06, 2009
It is a simple mistake in my opinion. Coca-cola is fierce brand and will not allow things like this to happen, but sometimes human errors can take charge.

Shops do sell expired stuff here too out of mistakes.
