juwoonn: You're not in kogi so you don't know what's happening there. Dino is delivering. If you're delivering who cares about what you buy? Dino is far better than Smart Adeyemi so we'll give him our vote again. I guess it is only Dino Melaye and Smart Adeyemi who are destined to lead Kogi to greater heights. The rest of you are just sheep following them? You that are typing, are you not old enough to contest? Or do you think leadership is only for these select elites? By the way I saw the "bridge" Dino built for you guys. In fact, the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco is a learner when compared. Lol.

Mk17: Which senator or politician deserve to be returned? What has the other politicians seeking to be returned done that dino did not do for kogi .There is no redemption for all Nigerian youths People like Dino Me late and Saraki continue to convince me daily that democracy can never work in Nigeria. This baboon of a DINOsaur has a murder charge hanging over his head in the courts which he has repeatedly refused to honour the court summons. There are only two options for Nigeria. Either the rulership is overthrown and a benevolent dictator installed or The country is fragmented into its constituent members. Nothing else can work. |

Becos blacks are too busy worshipping European institutions instead of being confident. And now you've confirmed my suspicions. The same Europe you are killing yourselves to go to. Did the Europeans stop you from creating your own prestigious awards? Or maybe the Europeans have two heads. "...instead of being confident" #smh |

Truth is that many who have condemned him on this forum are exactly like him or maybe even worse.

Kids are getting raped by their uncles and aunties daily under the broad noses of their parents. |

Mschew When I read this I instinctively knew it was written by a teenager not yet 20. "He won an award once..." Oh dear lord. The Nobel Prize is just any other award right? O ma she o. teufelein: Just so you know...
...that in saner climes, any infringement by the chief executive of the country is punished by an Act of Parliament or by the Law. In Nigeria, there's absolutely no way of punishing the president! By the 1999 Constitution, the president is a god!!! The only way to contain the Chief Executive is to report him to the US President and the British Prime Minister! Even at that, he's not compelled to listen to any of them (he might even send them back in body bags!). But YOU still believe in this useless Constitution? YOU are the problem!
The Constitution is the problem; we ought to be collectively fighting to have it discarded rather than chasing after politicians and their parties that implement that Book of Lucifer!
You are wrong. If the president violates the constitution or is guilty of treasonous acts or other criminal offences, then he can be impeached by the national assembly. And subsequently dealt with according to the law. The constitution is far from perfect, but it isn't the reason why Nigeria is a mess. Even if you have a perfect document sent down from heaven as the Nigerian constitution, implementation is what matters. Nigerian politicians have found a way to misimplement the constitution. That's why it's difficult to prosecute corrupt officials, same reason why it's impossible to recall a senator or impeach the President. Lack of proper implementation. |

singa4real: Biased analysis,
It should be this way, people tripping out to watch Buhari could be one of three things: 1. They were force to be there by there governor, in the case of civil servants, 2. To watch his comedy of mis-pronouncement of name, event and rising up of a wrong hand as the apc candidate. 3. To cause him for bringing hunger, death, poverty in the country. You are entitled to your opinion. |
Politics › Re: Sowore's AAC Unveil Mobile App For Reporting 2019 Elections by ElsonMorali: 7:36pm On Feb 07, 2019 |
Nigerians are not ready for a cerebral leader like Sowore.
They'll vote either Buhari or Atiku, then run to Church and mosque and start begging God for a miracle in their lives.
You may not believe this but The US, UK, Germany, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia and so on were not built by prayers neither are they being sustained by miracles.
Buhari has shown that he's sliding gradually into either senility or dementia
Atiku has a long history looting, stealing, defrauding the people.
Yet some people still think one of these men will take them to the promised land. |

Amarabae: Zombies will shed tears after the election. I have lived in the north, I know them very well. This is not 2015 where buhari got sympathy votes from the north because it was northerner vs southerner and the north want power back. 2019 it's Northerner vs Northerner. Northern votes will be divided. I laugh at those celebrating crowd at buhari campaign, It's normal, When a president is in town, people will troop out to view him , But for Atiku who is not in power and also an opposition to be pulling crowd should tell you something. Saraki, obj and kwankwaso are strong cartel. Buhari will feel the heat. They played a very crucial part in making him president in 2015. Atiku will win. Atiku is not the gentle Jonathan. If you want am rough, you go get am rough I disagree. First, Buhari is an incumbent. The likelihood that he will return is very high. Like you pointed out, this isn't 2015 and he isn't Jonathan either. Second, people trooping out to watch Atiku could be one of three things: 1. They actually support him 2. They were paid to turn up 3. They've heard the fella shared dollars during the primaries and they are hoping he'll throw cash around. I'm guessing it's the third one seeing as these people are really hungry. |

blazer2018: It is not that they won't be built with d house, but still some lifts will be broken and left unfixed...abeg go to Jo'burg my brother, u go fear fear now.
As for d fire disaster i mentioned...take 4 example d Grenfell Tower fire in London last yr dat claimed about 79 lives (plus about two similar ones in d UK last yr)...in a country with stricter safety precautions 4 dat matter...not to talk of Hong Kong See bro, if the elevator is broken down and not fixed that's a different case entirely. The first apartment I lived in when I got to Dubai was just a 3 story building and it had lifts and I didn't even see the staircase until I was about to vacate the building. The elevator never broke. That's good maintenance culture. Second, compare the number of fires that you've heard occurring in skyscrapers to the number of skyscrapers there actually are in the world and you'll realize that the ration is insignificant. It's just like saying air travel is unsafe because you've heard and seen plane crashes. But when you compare the number of flights that occur everyday around the world with the number if actual air mishaps then you'd be surprised that traveling by road with a car or bicycle is even more dangerous than air travel. |

Then there's no skyscraper in the world that does not have elevators. It's not possible. Building codes require it and that building will never be built without at least an elevator in it. Even in Nigeria, there are no skyscrapers without lifts. It's just not possible. |

Davechuks360: Please I need comments. You guys should help me out.
cc: Lalasticlala please move to front page. Join small groups first and try to assert yourself there. Does your school have JCI? Join them. Be active. Try and get up to speak in their meetings. If there are a lot of people that attend the meetings, then join another smaller group Contest for elections, etc. You'll start gaining confidence gradually. In private shore up your self confidence by telling yourself when you wake up every morning that you are an asset and a blessing to yourself, your family and your community. Get books that give you hints about what to do to improve on public speaking and overcome stage fright. Work on your self image like I've mentioned above but most of all, have a good dress sense. It doesn't have to be expensive but neat and modest and probably a whiff of perfume, oh and good shoes. If you look good, you'll feel good then you'll be good. |
