Today 3rd March 2019, I went to check my farm for the new season. I went to check to see the farm alongside my brothers. We were actually planning on planting some palm trees this year. Everything went well and from our survey, the land could take as much as between 700-900 palm trees. It was fun seeing the green trees away from the hot sun in the town. On our way back, we decided to take some pictures. But then something happened!

Somewhere in Northern Nigeria, her mates don't go to school and instead of doing something like this, they gather moving from place to place to beg. Wondering if with all these differences we are one country. ![]() |
Did your friend save his account details in his SIM Card? How was it that it was that easy to just transfer his money to another account with just his SIM card maybe? Where are the bankers here pls. |
Emmakyz:All they have been telling u sounds most close to the truth but you won't listen. You want to invite her and talk things out. The reason I hate advising some persons is that, they already made their decisions even before asking for your opinion. Guy, do whatever u feel it's best. The best advice, they already gave you. Don't forget good gals fall easily for bad guys. So, don't be surprised your good gal fell for that bad guy she is claiming raped her. |
BillGoldberg:The day Police will see those SIM Cards on you brother, no explanation will save you o. |
Legend007:I don't know both venues but info online shows TBS is 50,000 capacity while Teslim Balogun Stadium is 24000. Where is the source of your own info? |
alBHAGDADI:I totally disagree with you. Madness can be a medical condition. It was a narrow view that made u see madness from the point of being possessed by evil spirits alone. Believers can fall ill same way they can suffer mental problems of which madness is one. |
heendrix:A colleague of mine interviewed a convict in one of the prisons in Lagos. The young convict with one of his eyes removed said he went to rob a house and the man apprehended him and gorged out one of his eyes and hand him over to the police. He was later released but used the time to do something worse. He went out at night and went to the house of the man who had removed his eye. While the man and his entire family were sleeping, he set the whole house on fire, burnt the man and his whole family after which he surrendered himself to the police. My dear, criminals are not easy to change. |

How can you be in Kogi State of all States and make this kind of statement Mr. President? You can say this elsewhere but to pass through the Kogi State Capital, witness the state and yet say this while still there something must be wrong. |

PUSSYBBQGRILLS:I am quite ashamed this kind of comment is from a lady. So, it is her fault the marriage couldn't produce a child? Before u come here to tell me it is because of her past which you have no evidence of, I want to let you know that even ladies that got married a virgin, some have not given birth to any child and at the same time, some ladies that have aborted even more than 10 times have children. It is God that showeth mercy. |
We all know that this is harmattan season characterised by high winds and low humidity and in this season, wildfires are quite common. Recently (last week to be precise) a hotel in my area was completely razed due to fire from a nearby source- refuse being burnt! According to stories, the retired old man was hospitalized for days because of the shock. Below are a few tips to help us avoid losses via such occurrences this season as this is the time when little spark can become a wildfire. 1. Clear your surroundings Clear your surroundings of unwanted grasses especially the dried ones. Remove those climbers around your fence and windows. Many persons are careless. They have raised a house to a certain level but due to finance are yet to complete the house. Such houses are usually left in the middle of the bush especially in the rural and semi urban areas. Do yourself good to clear the bushy surroundings this season to avoid tears later. This applies to farmland as well. If you have a farm somewhere especially in the rural areas, do make sure that you clear around the farm because many rural dwellers in spite of several warnings will still burn bush and it will likely be burnt uncontrolled. Clear the bush around your oil palms, your cashew plantation, banana etc as the case may be. Remember some rat hunters will relish burning the bush but make sure the bush around your farm is properly cleared. Government is also guilty of this. I have been to rural areas during the last festive periods to see all those SUBEB and UBE blocks of classrooms left in the bush. The communities can do a lot as well as the principals to avoid damages by fire. 2. Be careful of every source of fire Candle lights, cigarettes, gas, firewoods etc... Are common examples. This is not the time to smoke and drop the butts of cigarettes around houses. This can lead to wildfire. Be double conscious now that the relative humidity is very low which can easily lead to rapid spread of fire. Don't carelessly leave that firewood after cooking (for rural dwellers). 3. Avoid packing your car carelessly In this season, packing your car by a little bush while spending sometimes away is quite unsafe. Be very conscious of everything around where you pack your vehicle to avoid stories that touch. 4. Enlightenment via Television, Radio and Other Media sources There is need to sensitize the people on the environmental impact of bush burning. Many set hectares of land on fire for the purpose of looking for rats. 100 rats are not even up to the weight of a matured ram! Many especially the rural dwellers are still ignorance of this and that why every year, we still face this same challenge again and again. 5. Do have all safety measures in place in case of fire outbreak This is the time to make sure the smoke alarms are working properly. Do not take for granted the fire extinguishers as well. Fire service should make sure they are much more available and ready now than before. Farm/property owners should check their properties more often now than before. Even while we pray for safety, let us do the needful to reduce losses due to carelessness this year. Wishing all NLanders safe 2019. Our efforts of years will no be wasted by fire this year. When it was first released incomplete, they said he was referring to GEJ. Now that the full audio is out, it is another story. |

The Northern Elites are greatly benefiting from the gross illiteracy in the North. Even when the country has been governed mostly by Northerners, the North still remains the poorest and the least educated part of the country. Illiterates are easy to be brainwashed. They can easily sell their votes and can easily be manipulated. If knowledge is power indeed, the North remains the weakest part of Nigeria and the greatest beneficiary are the Northern Elites. |
Osagyefo98:You claim there is one Nigeria meanwhile with surplus petroleum in Niger Delta, Nigeria is spending Billions in search of same in Chad instead of using the same money to complete, for instance Ajaokuta Steel Company. "One Nigeria" exists only in theory! |

After the Grace by Emmanuel A. Nelson Moment of glory is over Holiness now kicked to the gutter Thoughts of God pushed aside Down you've gone and straight into the mud- like it's over After total cleansing by the blood Skirts of honour turned to trousers of shame Hair-ties of glory torn just for your dirty game Put on now attachment of woe The whole you has just turned hole After much songs It is now time to misuse your tongue After much meditation It's now time for ungodly gyration So glorious it was some hours ago But all beauty just turned sour For now commences the practices in ungodly hour Heart glistening like gold It's now a long story- untold Beauty immeasurable you wore But with your hands the glory you tore "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God..." we all recited To the rhythm of the guitar we felt too excited But just like the stupid pig we've all chosen disgrace in the mud In place of His grace through the Blood.
