Yes we are the most educated you can't reverse it. Your people are also using cutlass and gun
I don't need that kind of education. West with it's high level of education is still the area with most thugs, street urchins, skull miners... Education doesn't stop a typical Yoruba man from shouting 'WO' even in the Mosque. Any education that cannot correct our bad characters and ways of life is not a good one, either educated Northerners or Easterners. We cannot be this barbaric yet claim we are educated.

The only thing that makes sense to urchins na vawulence. Why throw stone? Meanwhine, they argue that west is the most educated part of Nigeria.

Family › Re: My Friend's Future In-Laws Live In Kaduna, How Safe Are The Roads? by Enskynelson(m): 3:01pm On Jan 17, 2023
freshkpomo:
I have this secondary school mate who we still write to each other frequently after around 2 decades of leaving secondary school and he wrote to me about his current challenge which I just opened but so not really know what to say to him at this junction. There is this girl he loves so Much and wants to get married to, but the family lives mainly in Abuja and Kaduna (though they are all Edo people too just like my friend). The problem now is the kidnapping in those roads have made them to keep shifting the introduction date so that they can then make plans for marriage.

This girl according to him have been in Benin since she graduated from school where he met her and she has been an integrals part of his currently booming business. Now the problem here is that the Father wants him to wed the daughter or she should return back and stop wasting her time because he does not want her to end up in Shiloh after been used by ine man, then his own family on the other hand including the girl as well feels yhe journey is not safe and are scared of getting kidnapped.

Just yesterday when they finally agreed, he sent me a screenshot of the link to the lady kidnapped in Abuja with her family that was killed after Ransom. This link was sent to him by more than one family member and they may start discouraging him to leave this girl and get a girl close by because they can't afford to pay Ransom or get killed by Fulani people as they called them. One who they are age mates even jokingly told him that what if Fulani guys kidnap your wife to be and use their uncircumcised deek to rape her while going to rape her, won't that be worse than you waiting till maybe you can afford a plane for everyone.

The reason why i brought this here is because this dude seems worried because even without me writing back, he keeps typing like a robot and it also hurt him that they can't havw children yet because of this delay and all his friends are already with children, some are already grown. This money again I got a funny message from him lol that they will wait, if obi wins to see if things will change shocked shocked

Mynd44, lalasticlala

Let him send money. We go visit am on his behalf. grin
The road is relatively safe but there are risks just like every part of Nigeria. Avoid night journies and early hours journey, and pray. That is all you can do. All the best.

I applied to a graduate trainee role in a bank and I've followed the assessment till the 4th stage where we need to come for another assessment and bring out documents. Part of the document is NYSC discharge certificate and I won't be passing out till late February.

I was invited for the interview on Friday and I am confused on whether to go or not if I won't be disqualified because of it. I already sent a mail to their HR but I didn't get any response. What can I do please?
Go there
All you stand to lose is your time and transportation if you go and they refuse to consider.
If however you stay at home and refuse to go, you stand a chance of missing the job as you may be considered for the role. Cheers.

Celebrities › Re: I’m Not Ashamed’ – Phyna Reveals Why She Had Two Abortions At Age 19, 24 by Enskynelson(m): 9:11am On Jan 14, 2023
ExclusiveBet:
According to phyna, irrespective of her two abortions, she is not barren due to fertility drugs.

However, the personal details earned her criticism online with many saying some secrets are better left unsaid despite being a public figure.

In an interview with PUNCH, the reality TV star reiterated that she is not ashamed, stressing that her life is an open book.

Giving reasons for taking the decision, Phyna said at age 19 she could not open up to tell her parents that she was pregnant and the second pregnancy was due to her toxic relationship with her boyfriend.

Phyna added her inability to endure the consistent abuse in the relationship forced her to terminate the pregnancy.

In her words:”

https://punchng.com/why-i-had-two-abortions-at-age-19-24-bb9ja-phyna/
As for my reasons for taking abortion pills, if there are 100 women in Nigeria today, 98 have done abortions.
Who else saw this part. She just mentioned no one should judge yet had to conclude that 98 percent of women have aborted. A statement that lack sensibility. This shows she sees the world from her little circle of people. If you are proud of your deeds, you need not lie or exaggerate to support your act.

Good eveing, please I tried registering my sister for the admission form. After payment using card, the page displayed an error message so I went to the home page to 'continue after payment'... It requested we input the RRR which I did, I also selected the program and the level. I proceeded and it asked me to upload a passport. There was no where to click to select a passport. A page opened that I should input the RRR and I did.. it will now say 'passport already uploaded proceed to registration' if I click it, it will take me back to the first step of inputting RRR and selecting program... Please how do I solve this. Thanks

Most of the staff are on leave hence the slow rate of response. Kindly wait for sometime as it will be attended to. You should get an SMS when they respond.

Good evening EnskyNelson, I want to ask: a student with 2017 matric number has the following details:

Min. Credit Required:
120

Total Credit Earned (TCE):
158

Outstanding Credit:
-38

Cumulative Gradepoint Average
(CGPA): 2.43

But the student has 6 core courses to write.

My questions are:

1, will the student graduate, despite the core courses?

2, as NOUN changes course codes, is he eligible to write these courses?

I look forward to your answers.
Kindly provide the student's course of study and the CORE courses so we can check properly. Some courses are actually a new course meant to replace the old one.

Down here in my side they do give as well as in collecting for someone you claimed to know but before they grant your wish you will present a print out copy issued during the registration or a mail from inec after registration..

I don't think it's a bad idea so far their is a prove such person sent you.
Here, they don't ask for any prove. You just write down any number that you say is yours and you go with the card. No body care to check and confirm the phone number. Their explanation is that, when the real owner comes, he will call the collector's number.

I've completed my PDGE last year. My project result is already released. Please is the graduation list out? When is the most likely time for me to get my PGDE Certificate?
Congratulations. Graduation list will be out between now and next month.
Convocation is in March. Certificates will be ready for collection immediately after the convocation.

Yes it happens. I even collected for my brother who went to work that day(on a Sunday)

But with BVAS, do you think those collecting PVCs for malicious use will succeed?
There are polling units or areas that are strongholds for certain candidates. If the PVCs in such areas are subotaged, those persons won't be able to cast their votes thereby being a disadvantage to such candidate. U get ba?

When you make this kind of statement, do you know that: Some haters can rise up and burn a family out of jealousy and claim they are terrorists or kidnappers? What you said may not sound bad to you... But when you allow just anyone to decide who is guilty and who is not, it can be explored by bad people to their advantage.
So... The earlier you stop thinking like this, the better.

Let's remind Nairalanders to do the needful
Politics › Re: Have You Collected Your PVC?? by Enskynelson(m): 8:16am On Jan 11, 2023
Yes. Yesterday.
But the wrong thing INEC is doing is allowing the PVC to be collected by someone else who is not the owner of the PVC. At the collection centre, you can see one person with as much as 20 PVCs promising he knows the owners and will deliver to them. This loophole can be exploited by people with bad intention.
Expect also a huge crowd. The exercise started last week here but the crowd has not reduced as much.
Let's do the needful and get set to exercise our right.
