PoliticsRe: Nigerian Airforce Under President Buhari (Photos) by ephi123(f): 3:52pm On Mar 30, 2016
Is it the same president that doesn't stay in his own country that is developing the Nigerian Airforce? You really must be kidding.

Things are deteriorating in the country, you folks are busy posting pictures upandan. APC so far in the last 1 year has FAILED. Accept it. That is the first step - acceptance of failure because they have indeed failed. Whilst I was no fan of GEJ because in my opinion he was a buffoon, Buhari has fared worse.

Wow, great thread! Just what I've been looking for smiley
PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To President Buhari Tweet After The Attack In Belgium Yesterday by ephi123(f): 11:36am On Mar 23, 2016
Unfortunately Nigeria has never been blessed with good leaders. Whether GEJ or PMB, none is better than the other in my opinion.

I don't know what makes him think Belgium gives a hoot about his solidarity message. Oga, fix your country first.
CelebritiesRe: Eye Witness Account Of Ibinabo Fiberisima’s Accident - Charles Novia by ephi123(f): 12:55pm On Mar 18, 2016
Sentiment is going to finish Nigeria at this rate. What is the use of the law?!
PoliticsRe: Buhari: Boko Haram War, Anti Corruption War And The "Economic Crisis" by ephi123(f):
For starters, Buhari needs to sit himself down in HIS country and tackle issues He was elected to fix. I was pro-Buhari before but at this juncture with the kind of suffering my people are going through, I cannot continue to blindly support him. Inflation out of the roof, Electricity non-existent, Fuel queues everywhere. Pray tell, what EXACTLY is the President doing? Flying round the world. Mstchew.
PoliticsRe: Day 4: Total Blackout In Nigeria. Why The Silence? by ephi123(f): 12:51pm On Mar 10, 2016
By the way, where is PassingShot / DropShot? I would expect you to be vocal on this post as you are on any anti-APC / anti-Buhari post.
PoliticsRe: Day 4: Total Blackout In Nigeria. Why The Silence? by ephi123(f): 12:46pm On Mar 10, 2016
When the world is moving on to achieve greater things, Nigeria is still on the issue of erratic power supply. What exactly is wrong with the black man?! Very few black nations are prosperous or doing well. Such a shame.
Meanwhile oga Buhari is gallivanting all over the world, talk about misplaced priorities. Shameful leaders we've got.

Fkhalifa:
baba you are not far from the truth o, see what a lady once talk about this issue

"Cheating doesn't get to me. That's the way I have made my myself to be. I have never nag or shout at any man because of cheating. there are other bigger things I nag for, and, believe me is not cheating.

I can't just imagine myself fighting for a man, even if he is my husband, I will never do it. Let him paint the town red, let him club, let him womanize, let him do whatever he likes. All I know, is between him and his God.

All I am after in this world, earn my own money, have kids, raise my kids to be responsible. Take care of my aged sweet mum. Offer my shoulder and help to my siblings. (because is only my siblings that can bleed for me and never forsake me in trying times)."
Lack of accountability, that is one of the biggest problems we have in this country. Meanwhile it is the same woman who would suffer most when she catches a life-changing sexually transmitted disease from the husband.

It seems he's been married before and it didn't work out if I remember correctly he mentioned it in another thread. Not enough excuse for his whole mindset to become warped like this though.

I know many people will read that write up in isolation and it takes a very intelligent person to grasp the deep message in it.

I repeat...if a lady is not ready for the POSSIBILITY of sharing her man with another lady whether AS A MISTRESS or another wife, she should remain single.
Who made you an authority?! Rather than say that is your own personal opinion/preference, you are talking like your word is law. Anyway, other posters above have addressed you properly, no point wasting my time adding more.

Ladies & gentlemen, this kind of post is what happens when people set no standards for themselves but rather make the society their yardstick.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Jets Out To Saudi Arabia, Qatar by ephi123(f): 10:05am On Feb 22, 2016

diva90:
Nothing can be done. The man will most likely get his way or have her fired. It's happened to many pple. I had a friend who left her job because her boss was bothering her and she didn't want to sleep with the man... He didn't fire her yet but she resigned before it got too unbearable. The solution lies in this lady's hand... She can either succumb to the pressure and have all the perks/benefits of sleeping with her boss or simply leave the job/take what ever blows that are thrown at her.
Something can be done:
- as others have advised, she can get evidence to protect herself
- as you yourself have stated, she can choose to leave the firm

Let me make a few things clear.

1. This is NOT gnld or whatever you call it company.
2. I will assume those of you asking for the company name simply want to try and apply, that's fine, but i do not entertain rudeness so i wont mention the name.
3. We have enough resources for proper advertisement including via linkedin but it wasn't used in this case. Everyone interviewed was based on just referrals. It just an internship role so why spend so much on linkedin.
4. 80% of comments i see make me quite saddened as to the mentality of today's youths.
I think this was part of the problem. Candidates were not selected based on their own merits / what they could offer.

P.S. - Ignore the insults and abuses people are throwing, unfortunately that is the case with Nairaland these days.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How An Office Cleaner Outshined 6 'graduates' Today by ephi123(f):
Why do people get so defensive anytime there are posts about the quality of graduates being produced today? We all know standards have fallen, the earlier people face the reality of accepting feedback and picking one or two lessons from shared experiences, the better.
CrimeRe: Photos From The Fire Incident At The MRS Filling Station, Near Oando Lagos by ephi123(f): 9:46am On Jan 29, 2016
iPopAlomo:
I've been expecting this news to reach frontpage... it happened around 5pm... and it hit frontage at past 11... leaves me to wonder... what is the problem with Nigerians...

1. from 5pm to 11pm... irrelevant topics have hit frontpage... such as faces and cleavage of celebrities...

2. I think the fact that an explosion occurred in a very clustered area of surulere and nobody dying is bad news... because I can't phantom any reason why such news shouldn't be grazing frontpage early on...

3. Nairaland needs to get its priorities checked... good thing we living in surulere are proactive... we douse a major incident early... without waiting for nairaland to call the fire fighters for us...

4. I'm pretty sure if the site had images of charred bodies and gory pictures... it would have hit frontpage early to garner more traffic...

Thank goodness... January 28th wouldn't be black day for a lot of people... to everyone that lost their properties to the inferno... may God provide in multiple folds... the saying "when there's life..." comes to fore...

Happy Birthday to me... and yes... it's just another day...
Hopefully Seun will pay attention before Nairaland goes to the dogs completely. The uninspiring crap topics hitting front page these days is simply nauseating.
RomanceRe: I'm Pregnant; My Boyfriend Wants Abortion by ephi123(f): 7:09pm On Jan 24, 2016
CaroLyner:
first of all at 21 you dont know about condom
and aftermath pills? am not upto 21 but i know
all these things.anyway the deed has been
done.do not get an abortion.Dont let anyone
force or coerce you to get one. You are your
child’s mother, and no one – not your boyfriend– can make you get an abortion. Let your “no!”
mean “no!” – no matter what anyone else tells
you. Your baby is a new, unique person who
deserves a chance at life.
Period. If you ever
need to be reminded why you don’t want an
abortion, read real stories from real women who have had abortions. Their experiences will
remind you why you don’t want to do this, and
will help keep you strong in difficult moments

so why our brothers from the east of Niger crying over Metuh handcuff? metuh is not even dignitary like Audu. Metuh is just a PDP worker not part of govt.
Don't mind anonim or whatever his name is. Of all the major challenges the country is facing now, debating whether Metuh is brought in handcuffs or not is the major item on their list to be debating, what a shame.

OkparaJesus:
It is very bad and sad that most people reading this post don't understand English. I wonder how most of you made it to the university? This scholarship does not call for registration of those who have not won the scholarship but calls for ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WON THE SCHOLARSHIP AND HAVE NOT BEEN REGISTERED ON SCHOLASTICA. pls read every post with the intent to understand not being too eager to read without proper assessment. Thanks
Thanks for pointing this out. I was wondering if I was reading the correct post when scrolling through the comments. The thread was titled wrongly to start with, this is clearly not an application for 2016 but for existing awardees to register.

OP, your thread is quite misleading, and will make people waste time and effort registering for something they are not even eligible for.

"This Scheme Is Open To Unregistered Existing Awardees ONLY. Only current NNPC/Chevron JV scholarship beneficiaries who have not registered on scholastica are required to Register and Apply. Registered existing awardees need not apply but login to update their academic details."

Believe it or not one Mr Emeka and one Mr kayode that are Billionaires are already planning on getting a space there already, it occupants won't be limited to any ethnic group, so why do we fight?? You guys are not creating a conducive atmosphere for the young generation, they will be ashamed for leaving a legacy of hatred within you guys...I know some people will still quote and insult me but I don't care because the truth must be told...have a very wonderful day you all and may the good lord continue to bless you all
Speak bro. You couldn't have said it better. I wish what you have typed above could be pasted above each thread.
It is getting really annoying the way almost every single thread becomes an avenue for insults about the 2 tribes to be traded. Whatever happened to maturity?!

Please are their lab scientist here to vet the analysis of this result. Some things did not syn with me about this report. For example

1. the sample was received on the 12th of July 2015

2. Final report was on 31st Dec 2015. (that is a 6 months gap to get a result for an endangered baby)

3. The report did not specify what sample was been tested for the cannabis

4. No signature or stamp to authenticate the result.
5. the FONT and FONT size are not the same.

I dont know who else thinks that this report was doctored to smear the lady (note: I'm not exonerating the lady as I do not have all the facts)
Exactly! I spotted this as well and was wondering about that date

How come the report date is 31/12/2015 when this whole issue already started days before??
