Typical Nigerian behaviour: lying and coming to baseless conclusions when they dont agree with you. Shame on you.

Next time, feel free to disagree, but if you quote me and feign selective blindness, or you misrepresent facts, I'll use the same words I used earlier on you.

I don't owe you any apologies, so, bye.
Hehehe, you really must be pained.

Cheers.

My mum just released another one again. She said, "The whole world is watching this nonsense".

Lol.

P.S: My Dad who can cross oceans to watch Presidential chats and broadcasts has gotten up and gone to bed. I've never known him to miss things like this. That's how bad the chat is. #sighs
The other time it was your boss' parable, today it is your Mum and Dad.

Different strokes for different folks, when my DAD died, we benefited from his Life Insurance. The same AIICO Insurance that you castigate was very professional although slow coz it took over 7months to receive the cash but with my experience with them. If I would suggest, I would suggest AIICO Life Insurance any day anytime!!!
Well, that's your experience and you are free to recommend them. I am speaking based on MY own experience and would NEVER EVER recommend a company that mis-sells policies and misleads their clients which is what AIICO is guilty of.
InvestmentRe: Cashing Out On An Insurance by ephi123(f): 12:37pm On Dec 29, 2015
AIICO is anther terrible insurance company, they ended up deducting 30% of all my mum had paid when she cashed out. I am going to take it up with the regulatory bodies, AIICO Insurance = bunch of thieves

Am in the same school of thought with your employer.

My humble opinion is that we should move on,no matter what happens.

If the leader does not encourage the followers to strive and push on in spite of all odds discouragement and lost of hope becomes the order of the day.
While we embark on recovery.

I went to my clients office yesterday to meet with the Human Resources Manager on an issue. When this Guy showed me about 66 files of workers that he prepared their sack letters, I wept.

He told me that the owners of the business (Lebanese)are closing down because of unfavourable business environment.

Lets pray things gets better
The Bible itself says faith without works is dead. You can't expect to pray and DO NOTHING and expect things to change.
Nigerians had better buckle their belts, Brent crude as we speak is $38. For a country dependent on oil that is disaster, and yet billions are in some private individuals' accounts and we feel that should be let go? Mba.
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by ephi123(f): 8:57am On Dec 15, 2015
So Nigeria should not recover its stolen monies?

Your boss is using an example of 20,000 let him try substituting that with 200,000,000 and see if he will not be ready to close shop completely to get that money back.

Corruption is the bane of progress in this country and so MUST be PRIORITIZED.

You would have been kicking yourself in the foot by now if you had mentioned a figure and only realized after the interview that it is a low amount. So just as others have said you gave a good answer particularly for an entry level role.

For experienced roles, it is a different matter.

This generation of Nigerians, chai. Don't want to say what a hopeless bunch. Tribalism will certainly be the downfall of this country at this rate or how do you justify defending a criminal whilst the average youth is roaming on the streets jobless, kontinu all.

Suffering and smiling kontinus, hehe.
PoliticsRe: Before Evil People Say More On Deziani: Quick Irrefutable Facts by ephi123(f): 2:46pm On Nov 14, 2015
So that a person attended Ivy League schools or worked for Shell means they can not steal?

Truly Nigerians get the leaders they deserve with this kind of reasoning. Let the suffering and smiling continue.

Bad roads everywhere, Zero healthcare, Appalling standard of education and someone is coming up with this nonsense list.

Quick Irrefutable facts

26. We restate Deziani's Accomplishments

a. She is an architect. How many women architects do you know personally?

b. She has a masters degree from CAMBRIDGE. That is an IVY LEAGUE school. (not some moimoi foreign school)

c. She is THE FIRST FEMALE DIRECTOR OF SHELL EVER EVER EVER.

d. She has held THREE MINISTERIAL POSITIONS SINCE 2007. Transport, Mines and Steel and then the position Amaechi and Tinubu can murder someone over PETROLEUM. Buhari is STEPPING INTO HER SHOES.) That is 8 clear years of meritorious service.

e. SHE IS THE FIRST FEMALE OPEC PRESIDENT EVER EVER EVER!!!!

f. She is the FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF GAS EXPORTING COUNTRIES ever.

G. She was Vice President of OPEC before then

h. Should we mention that she is the first female transport minister in Nigeria ever?

These are irrefutable. To comment, state the number and give me FACTS only. For beer parlour and tabloid gists of corruption, go to Sunday Akoji's wall. We deal only facts here.

Finally, HER AILMENT IS NOT A JUDICIAL EXCUSE BEFORE LAW. GET BUHARI TO PROSECUTE HER OR GO AND DEEP YOUR HEAD IN AN AJEGUNLE LATRINE if you believe she is guilty. Enough stories of tortoise and squirrel from APC supporters. GEJ is no longer "protecting" her. Press charges or shut the freaking hell up.

Instead una go dey pray make una daughters grow up to be like her, people wey no fit knock her papa or husband gate, wey dey write application to SHELL and them no take them go dey open mouth give who be DIRECTOR for the shell. Government work get insult no be small.
May God stretch forth his healing hands to the loveliest MOST BEAUTIFUL creature to ever be called MINISTER in Nigeria. God heal her please.

LOL too funny. These xtians and religious leaders have fooled many.

I wonder why it is only in poorly run countries that religions flourish.

I hope Nigeria's economy improve so all these for profit religions vanish.
Exactly. I believe the economic situation is a big factor in all this.

As religious as Nigeria is, yet evil flourishes daily - that alone signals something is wrong. The MAIN reason people are going to church is not to seek God but for blessings (riches and wealth). May the good Lord deliver y'all

Sweerie have you read any of his books? Trust me if you have , you won't say this, he's a FAITH preacher not a prosperity preacher but you genuinely have faith and walk with God , there's no way you won't prosper . 1corinthians 9:8 and 3john 2 comes to mind.
Can you explain what exactly you mean by "prosper"?
The Apostle Paul who was one of the greatest apostles, would he have been considered prosperous by the Nigerian standards of today? NO.
My point is prosperity is not necessarily material things.

Anyway, at the end of the day, we are all entitled to follow whichever ministry we choose.
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo And Wife Arrive Benin City In Their Private Jet (Photos) by ephi123(f): 1:07pm On Nov 13, 2015
How come the only BLESSINGS Nigerians place all the emphasis on is physical and material blessings. Is that all there is to the kingdom of God? So ministers should no longer be held accountable or questioned? Why?

PROSPERITY teachings have taken over the church today, sadly. No depth, no spiritual growth, no preaching of repentance, forgiveness, no sound doctrine, no emphasis on getting to know God personally and growing in a relationship with Him, but rather a gospel of GIMME GIMME GIMME. It is so focused and all about what God can give us / what we can get from Him.

By the way, not a kobo of any of these things will be taken anywhere at the end of it all.

He didn't stand for truth, fairness n transparency yet he refused to rig election. He called his opponent to congratulate him while the count was still going. ofcourse, the reverse would have been the case, if his opponent were in his shoes. HE didnt stand for truth, fairness n transparency, yet no single project in his home was done by him but he executed projects in other parts of the country.

the reason he was removed from office is clearly based on sentimental politics n we all know that.

Yes he had his lapses but its not peculiar to him. Other past administration had theirs. even the incumbent president too.

Mind you, my previous post wasnt referring to
Jonathan's administration but was referring to the entire political system of Nigeria.

Thats the sentiment we r talking about. we allow tribalism and the likes to becloud our sense of judgememt as regards what truth stands for.

Now, how far has the change gone? where is the change? Is it the economic downtown or the civil unrest thats gaining heights? Nigerian politics will improve the very day we chose the path of truth instead of sentiment. lipsrsealed
We obviously have very different definitions of "truth, fairness and transparency", no point expending my energy any further.
