Politics › Re: An Obidient Expresses His Displeasure Over Edo State Obidients Rooting For PDP by EponObi(f):
grin Circus. House of Cards.

When people ask why APC and Tinubu does not respond to Obi and LP, here's the reason.

Take it or leave it, Obi and LP is going no where in 2027. If dem get half of the votes they got in 2023, dem try.

From Obi down to the lowest in the rank and file, they are not even fit to be called teenagers in the political sense.

If it's not yet obvious to you, Obi has no control or rather lost control of the party. From Abure doing anyhow, the excos behaving like barbarians, now the followers rejecting the official candidate of the party in their most important and powerful state. House of cards! No be Edo dem call the headquarters of LP?

And here we have followers following and defending the treacherous decision of top LP influencers to back the candidate of the party they've qualified as "structure of criminality and corruption" grin ...in clear deviance of the group's alpha (Obi). In fact, I would say Abure and LP influencers are more powerful than that man with effeminate voice. Epon Obi just weak anyhow. embarassed

Have you ever seen APC working against their candidates at State levels? No one dares go against the choice candidates of APC. We all saw the damage the G5 governors did to the PDP in the last election; continue.

Who needs more state governors if not LP?

The most interesting fact is that this will set a trend. I can see in the future other LP state chapters going against their party's choice - as per headless mob wey dem be.

Obi go they write rubbish thread on Twitter but can't keep control of his party's internal affairs. Same with Aisha. I laugh! grin

Abure was accused of forgery, blackmail, attempted murder, intimidation, and party sabotage, Obi couldn't put his foot on the ground. Same Abure is moving around like nothing happened. But you think this Obi can challenge the so called "structure of corruption" ravaging our country. You think that man can remove fuel subsidy, deal with the forex cabal without losing control of the country and his government? Obedients can keep deceiving themselves, but Nigerians are not stupid. 1 Atiku over 1000 Obi's any time, any day - as per Asiwaju supporter wey I be.

That aside, this same party members with the smallest structure among the top 3 have been abusing and bullying outsiders and potential voters, cussing them all year long and I'm sure that's all they will do heading to 2027. Una even take the madness to a new high by explicitly cussing and swearing for the INEC chairman - person wey go still officiate 2027 election grin. Awon apoda!

Obi has never for once cautioned his obidients to stop behaving like barbarians and being abusive. Now the chicken has come home to roast. His followers are explicitly dissolving the party's unity and strength in their suppose HQ and there's nothing he can do about it. O ma se oooo! cheesy

And the plot twist might be that Abure is the one sponsoring these senseless influencers to disgrace LP Edo Chapter and Apata because of how they disgraced him last month. cheesy *a beg, bring me my popcorn* cool

Anyways, only LP has the right to ronu. The "I'm Yoruba but..." e-goats among them, see your life outside grin

Politics › Re: Lagos-Port Harcourt-calabar Coastal Highway: Ibori Praises Tinubu by EponObi(f):
afroniger:
Going down memory lane, the former governor said in 2001, Tinubu, as governor of Lagos State, hosted a meeting of South West and South-South governors, in Marina where the need for the construction of the superhighway was deliberated upon.
I didn't vote for rubbish! 😋

Imagine, his 2001 vision to bridge the gap between the SS and SW with a superhighway being implemented by him in 2024, after 23 years. Hate this man all you want, he the right messiah sent to liberate Nigeria from decades of retrogression.

2001 vision ooo, while still a governor. After Obasanjo, Yaradua, Goodluck, Buhari, Jagaban is still one who will implement it! I don't think you understand how insane that is.

When they tell them he designed the Lagos blueprint, they will start forming in the mouth. Later this week, he will commission the Red Line railways in Lagos - One of the infrastructure he embedded into the Lagos blueprint, two decades ago. In 2027, when we tell them he designed the superhighway blueprint, they will still foam in the mouth.

This is a breath of fresh air. I'm sorry if you can't see the big picture. By 2027, I'm 100% confident Asiwaju will win reelection with a landslide. The beating the Agulu fraud and Atiloot go chop in 2027 will make their 2023 trashing a child's play.

Man with balls!

Only him:
- Removed subsidy
- Unified the forex exchange rates
- About to implement the Oronsaye report
- Implementing state police
- Approved the biggest road infrastructure construction in the history of Nigeria

All within 8 months.

By God's grace, him and his team will clear out the messes of our country by year end, then 2025 onward will be smooth sailing.

Please, believe in this man! No one needs to tell you he is the Messiah sent to liberate us.

Politics › Re: Economic Crisis: Obasanjo Urges Devolution Of Power, Resources To States by EponObi(f):
This is my problem with people like this. Always smart and knows what's right and good outside power. But when they are in, they do the opposite. It's easy to drive a car with mouth. If na plan, even the Agulu fraud get am plenty - that one can literally write a complete, nonsense consumption to production storybook while sucking Aisha's sagged breasts cheesy. But check what he did in Anambra for 8 years - zero doings; just talks.

Same with Baba Iyabo - why you no execute devolution of power while in power?

Same with our Information minister - Bosun. That one was one of the biggest critics of APC/Buhari/Tinubu over the years. Dem don give am portfolio now, the dude dey do nonsense paparazzi up and down - since becoming minister, Bosun hasn't done any tangible execution of any of plans. I call him the baddie minister.

Enu dun ro efo.

Anyways, I think this is a chess game between the North and South. Since the north has been moving mad since Tinubu came to power, Obasanjo might be coming out to fire the warning shot - the North are scared of true Federalism. This is OBJ having Tinubu's back - even though they are sworn political enemies, the region's interest comes first. When I tell people that the SW plays the most sophisticated politics in Nigeria, they argue. The thing is in the SW, politics isn't by cussing, chest beating, and being loud. Silent chess moves without confrontation - something the SE should learn about - but they won't and will never attain such level of sophistication - at least not this generation, and that's if they don't program their children with the same politics of hate and victimization that has relegated them to the back seat of national influence and power. The typical Igbo is programmed to suck at National politics right from birth. Abuse me all you want; that's the truth.

To confirm their hypocrisy: They will come on this thread (even quote me) that they don't need the power seat of Nigeria; act like they care less. But na them carry Peter Obi for head pre and post election. Even those who abused Obi and called him a failure pre 2015 turned around to repackage him. Na them spend #800m on post election legal tussles for Obi. Na them dey always argue say their 3rd class failure was a First Class Omo Olodo'de cool at the election.

XPMExchange:
Best post ever. The blocking of Binance and other crypto firms in Nigeria by the Federal Government came as a shock to Nigerians. According to the media, the ban was as a result of the firms not folllowing. They were “neither registered nor regulated by the Commission and its operations in Nigeria are therefore illegal”.

What's your take on this?

Meanwhile, XPM Exchange remains a safe and secure platform that is already registered in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commissions (CAC) and Special Control Unit against Money Laundering (SCUML) which is controlled by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

Therefore, buying and selling of coins, swapping giftcards and converting e-wallets funds for Naira is permissible and safe on our platform. You can click on the link on the signature below to get started.

THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT
Thank you.

Banning Binance is the right move by the FG. But note that Binance isn't wrong but they have their faults too.

Binance P2P is not price discovery system like they said in their announcement. It's just a platform where users transact like we used to do here on Nairaland and LocalBitcoins.

However, there are some bad elements using the P2P system to sabotage the country. They've been spoofing the order book.

What will happen next is Binance and the FG sitting at the table to iron out a few things.

Everyone using Binance already kyc'ed. They can fish out the saboteurs. In fact, Binance has started removing suspicious accounts. Aside this, the FG will make a deal with Binance to protected Naira. Soon, people won't be able to quote prices that are outside the official naira rate on Binance P2P marketplace.

The FG can't ban us totally from using exchanges or crypto because crypto is taking up some of the responsibilities of the FG regards employment. Also, Tinubu has plans to tax crypto earnings. So it's a goldmine Nigeria and this government can't afford to miss.

😂

Eyes of Nigerians don dey clear. Pulpit bandits like Oyedepo, Adeboye, Oyakilome and other are only there to sell fake hope to Nigerians. The same hope they've been selling since the 80's and hasn't transformed or benefited their followers for good. The Nigerian church and these satanic pastors are the only ones getting rich while their congregations get poor - just like the top 1% of the world's population are becoming richer at an alarming rate while the purchasing powers of the rest are plummeting at an even more alarming rate.

I hope you guys will watch the series The Righteous Gemstones to see how these snake oil salesmen, televangelists, pastors dey always use una head play ludo.

Wetin prosperity sermon wan do in the face of the great Tinubulation? 🤣

Very good times and very hard times both work extremely well to open the eyes of the populace to the scam called religion.

Because, when the times are good, people can see that these pastors have no value to offer them. Likewise, when the times become extremely bad, like we have now, the people can see that the false hope they've been sold for decades *when the times were decent* is nothing but fake.
Politics › Re: What Does Crypto Contribute To The Economy by EponObi(f):
Crypto has benefited Nigerian citizens more the government has ever done for them.

I won't go much into detail because from my observation, ignorant people are too much on this platform and because they don't understand crypto, they've resorted to calling it all sort of terrible names.

Stick with your 50k per month jobs, stick with your freelancing job, let crypto Bois and gals stick with their own. In the next 3 years, we shall which group attains financial freedom.

Edit: Ok, since this is on the front page, I will elaborate more.

Aside the speculations, the tech (Blockchain) is the next best revolution after the internet. If you are sleeping, start researching Blockchain and AI: these two will lead the next industrial revolution. If you snooze, you might end up relying on obsolete jobs and careers in the next decade. I won't say more than that.

Now to speculations: to the outsiders, crypto boi and gals are brokies. Lol. A lot is happening now in crypto that you won't hear about until late next year. That's when dumb money (probably you) will come into crypto to fuel the mass hysteria that will lead to the next bubble, just like in 2018 and 2022. What crypto dudes won't share with you is that there's a new trend (not so new) of airdrop. What this means is people have been receiving a bunch of free money (called airdrops) just by using and testing Blockchain protocols. I've seen people get up to $3k for testing Zetachain; $5k on Tia Protocol, $5k for testing Arbitrium chain, this is just a few I will mention. This year alone, there has been a minimum of 10 projects that did airdrop. The average Nigeria doesn't even earn $1k per year. It's why I said many of you are ignorant.

*** Another Add (timestamp: 12:10pm): What you ignoramuses don't also understand is that the typical crypto guy is not broke (in the long run). Linea (a crypto company) is currently doing a campaign. More than 500k people worldwide are engaging and I'm 100% certain more than 20k Nigerians are among. By the end of the campaign, one person would have spent $200 for gas payments and shit to test their Blockchain. How many of you fuols can literally set #300k on fire to bet on a life changing outcome? How many of you have the balls to engage, with no explicit agreement that Linea will reward campaign participants? Today is 22nd of Feb, 2024. If or when Linea do their airdrop, I will come back to update how much an average participant got. ***

Airdrop aside, we've seen many token pull 10-100x since Jan 2023. I can count 20 tokens like that off hand. There's a crypto project that's coming mainstream soon called World Coin, founded by by Sam Altman (founder of OpenAI , ChatGPT): that coin moved from $2 to $8 this year along. Mind you, I already told you the mass hysteria is happening late next year. That means for the next 1.5 years, crypto boi and gals (those you qualify as inconsequential, broke, gamblers, unserious) will hunt and earn airdrops and flip alt coins for 10-1000x (even more - depending on individual skill sets).

By 2026, a lot of them will japa to enjoy life (not to become wage slaves), many of them will start businesses - they will inject fuel into our economy, build houses, buys cars, enjoy the goodies of life) while you the serious ones will still be dragging with your low pay jobs.

I'm sorry if my writing offends anyone. But the truth has to be said.

The thing is many of you just go through life like zombies without an iota of idea where the world is heading. The universe has handed all you need to excel in life on a platter but many of you are still snoozing. It's why you see content creators buy cars and you term them as yahoo, forgetting content is the crude oil of the new age.

PS: don't quote me to ask for how to start crypto and shit. I don't have the time. The internet is there for you to use. And most importantly, everything I wrote here is not financial advice.

Shout out to my kings and queens on CTNG. You guys are killing it and are making the Nation proud. 2025 - Joy is coming!!!

New Add: this year, Blackrock got their Bitcoin ETF approved. I see some ignoramus saying crypto has no intrinsic value. Mumus. I guess you know better than Blackrock - a wealth manager with more than $10 trillion AUM. Lmaooooo.

Gold ETF was approved in 2004, Bitcoin ETF got approved in 2024. Lol. I can't wait for Jan 2026.

You succeeded in saying nothing. We're talking about cost of living compared to the salaries and I deliberately used the lowest earners/the most vulnerable to give my example. I have friends that are earning hundreds of thousands of euros who are my seniors in software engineering but why should I use them as instance when the most affected by cost of living are the poorest?

And again you lie, someone earning 1k in Europe is like someone earning like 800k in Nigeria present exchange rate. Early last year's exchange rate is like someone earning 500k. You know why? Only rent is much more expensive than Nigeria and other essential commodities are on the same range.

If you're earning 100k in Nigeria, there is absolutely no way you can save 400 euros but someone earning 1k in Europe can save 400 euros. Don't argue with me if you've never lived in Europe
Lol. Bro, if you are earning €1k in EU, you are in the lower class in the European society.

How would even be earning €1k per per month when you are a disabled person? You are no different from someone earning #100k who lives in Nigeria. Cost + standard of living; it's not rocket science.

In Europe, some or my friends that get paid 1000 to 2000 euros per month pay rent from the money - rent 3 bedroom with 3 people at 1k each to their rooms. Pay bills. Eat food - food is very cheap in Europe, pay transportation. Flex a little and still have some money to send back home.

How is Nigeria cheap if the monthly salary can not buy a bag of rice?

Some of my friends have bought cars from their month salary. Some buy the newest release of iPhones and Samsung . Even before the current inflation, Nigeria has been the most expensive country to live in
Small small with the lamba.

If your friends are earning €1k per month in EU, they are earning minimum wage. €2k salary is even way below average - that's €24k per year.

Dey play. Your friends are among the lowest earners in EU. You self said, all the do with their salary is pay bills pay rent, pay for food, and transport,*then little flex*

Your friends are slaves in Europe. No offense. And with rate EU countries are about to enter recession and rampaging inflations, your friends are not different from folks earning #100k in Nigeria, like some rightly said.

And I won't be surprised if some of your friends were among top salary earners in Nigeria before japaing.

If the nation was serious, we should have passed this level of subsidizing mechanization for our farmers. But, baby steps. Better late than never. The state should be working towards creating agricultural hubs and adding value to their produces.

Bago is a good governor, judging by the steps he has taken so far to tame food inflation in his state. I remember some id!ots dragging him for banning food export from his state. Fuuls that their state governments doesn't give a hoot are the ones always loud about other states affairs.

Tinubu needs to step up to curb insecurity so our farmers can be free from banditry and kidnapping. Nigerians are not lazy; we only lack the needed support system and thriving environment.

Other state governments should follow suit. SW governors should wake up a beg. Only Ekiti and Lagos are doing great with agricultural revolution. Other should step up. In fact, there's a need to for the SW governments to form a coalition to traject the region as an agricultural hub. This is why I miss Akeredolu. Despite his flaws, he would have spearheaded the agric revolution like he did with Amotekun.

That said, when will you (I mean YOU) start asking your state governor about his input regards the agricultural revolution? Na the same FAAC your governor collect that Bago is using to mechanize his state farmer oooo.
