yes to bold, in addition to that you can invest it in TB or fixed deposit over a period of time between 3-6 months, my opinion though. this is just to validate the POF availability.

nifeicon:
Good Evening All.
Great family spirit burning.
Just for further clarification.
Hope its alright if ones family member transfer funds from Company's account to my saving for POF .and will Notaziting it be enough ?
God bless you All.

thanks this had been clarified by @ednut1 and others... we move on!!!

gsade:
Unless something has changed in the way CIC handles applications. I am sure your age is frozen at ITA and not AOR. As such, a subsequent birthday before AOR will not impact your app even if score after birthday is lower than CRS points at ITA. It is always stated in the ITA letter as such. Unless things have changed ooo!
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 5:31pm On Nov 12, 2019
Answer to your question on that page is YES account type is never an issue the major thing is what the account carries as POF

profeddor15:
Good evening house,am still waiting for the response to my question on part 9 section 118 posted on 11th Nov,2019.
Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:42pm On Nov 12, 2019
it has no effect, age is locked in at ITA, all confusing state clear grin

KayLayChi:
Yes it will.

This was discussed some pages back.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:40pm On Nov 12, 2019
Noted!! thank you so much smiley

Adeime:
That’s not true.....it’s after ITA.... see a clause that comes with every ITA mail

NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 3:39pm On Nov 12, 2019
ok good, thanks for all clarifications today @ednut1, na to get ITA before birthday be that ooo grin

ednut1:
age is locked at ita
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 2:26pm On Nov 12, 2019
your family composition now doesn't affect your scores as at invitation, YES to bold if your initial POF didnt cover her, irrespective of her citizenship you must inform IRCC as regards the new addition to the family. congrats in advance for your PPR is near grin, congrats also for our canny baby girl grin

MrShutterBoy:
Hello seniors,

Please we need your expert advice; my wife and I are waiting on PPR, our AOR was July 2nd 2019 (we narrowly got ITA by 1 point); but we just had a baby 3 weeks ago. The baby is Canadian as we travelled to give birth to him in Canada. How can we go about updating this new information on our application as the baby does not require any permanent residency since she's already a 1st generation Canadian with a valid passport? Does this affect our scores as at ITA? Do we also need to submit a new PoF that reflects enough money for the third family member?
MrShutterBoy:
***Her - baby is a girl
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 2:22pm On Nov 12, 2019
ok clear, age is locked in after AOR.

KayLayChi:
Yes it will.

Answers in colored ink

makano:
Hello house, great work you all are doing here as the information here is really helpful..Please I will appreciate suggestions and advise on my situation which I am about to share.. I want to guys to tell me the truth as regards my chances of getting PPR.. Below is my present situation

I am a single 31+years old Man with over 4 years working experience, and I do not have a Masters degree. I calculated my CRS score and my score was 420. Now, I should be getting married next year and my Fiance is a 25 years old fresh graduate with no work experience, she will be doing her NYSC by next year.. Below are my questions..

1. What will be my best option of applying? should I apply alone or wait till when I get married so I can use my Fiance as the primary applicant. Because truth be told, If I decide to go for Masters now, I would be 33+ when am through, which means automatically my points will drop cos of ma age, but she still has age on her side, dts y I wanna use her as the primary applicant when we marry. you dont have to wait till that time, do a BCS diploma program, the next exam date is March 2020, that would give you 2 or more certificate to boost your scores. use the search bar to get links to this program it has been shared multiple times on this thread

2. What are the things we must do for our points to be high i.e what can she do to boost her scores and what must I do to also boost ma scores cos I knw her points will also be relatively low cos she doesn't have any work experience.. why not do the above suggestion and apply as single, get ITA and submit your app. when you get married add your spouse, you stand a better chance if you obtain the diploma+ your degree+4yrs work experience. your age is not bad, do well in ielts if you dont already have that.

3. Is there any certification I can take as a programmer within a year that will improve my scores, instead of doing per time Masters for 2 years(I am actually avoiding this Masters cos I know when am through, age would have been against me.. The above program (BCS diploma in IT) is within six months, note next exam is March, its 3 modules i think

Please I will really appreciate your suggestions and advise on my situation, I have really been thinking about the whole situation and I decided to share it here for suggestions and advises.. Please peeps in ma kind of situation before that have gotten their PPR can also tell me what they did.. Thanks in anticipation.

thank you for the clarification, I believe everyone who did not know this before are aware of it now.

slushy:
This is wrong. Ednut is actually right. Work experience eligibility is assessed as at ITA and not AOR. What the VO will consider is “were you qualified at the time of the draw to receive the ITA”? If the VO removes the point for 3 years experience from your actual point will you still be eligible to receive the ITA?

Remember you’re responsible for whatever information you give. Regardless of what the system is currently showing. Your letter will probably state different and when the VO calculates based on that...

false. Make una no mislead the guy abeg.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 11:43am On Nov 12, 2019
what about age? if for intance you got ITA a week before your birthday and you you submit your eAPR after your birthday, will it affect your score in anyway?

Cryptomania:
All these things are calculated pre ITA not AOR
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 7:14am On Nov 12, 2019
ednut1:
you are assessed as at the ITA date. Risky move. Regardless of what the system say its still your responsibility to ensure its accurate o
@bold is correct, If the AOR comes after completing 3yrs as said by @blissnenye the applicant would be ok because if you calculate the work experience as at AOR and it clocks 3yrs you are good, same thing goes to age

blissnenye:
I would advice that you accept the ITA if it comes. You did not do the computation yourself, the system did. However, do not submit your application until after the exact date you will complete 3years. Since you have till January to submit your application, you may even submit in January. Just ensure that your AOR comes after you have completed 3 years.

Amen to your prayers, wish you both success as you proceed to up your score.

thanks for that correction, i never knew you could combine ECA from different bodies, @Teecol kindly act accordingly.

LecturerIFE:
Not necessary. Since he has an ECA from IQAS for his degree, he should evaluate just the diploma with WES. He's able to claim two or more certificates with this.

We are allowed to combine ECAs from different bodies provided the ECAs aren't for the same degree.

Cc Teecol
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 8:46pm On Nov 06, 2019
contact IQAS about it, you will send in your new diploma transcripts and it would be re-evaluated as 2 or more certificate, i will advice you to go for WES if you have cash, its fasted than IQAS. you will send both degrees to them and your evaluation would come out as above, only the timeline in processing your doc is the difference between both organizations.

Teecol:
Please I already evaluated my bachelor degree in 2017 with IQAS so I have an ECA number, however I have an additional diploma now (advanced diploma).
Please how do I go about the re- evaluation so I will be able to choose the option of Two or more degree or diploma on the express entry portal. Pls assist with the information.

You want to start your application with lies and untruth. Why not take the option given to you of hiring as a caregiver. Moreover is your placenta tied together?

@bold well she might have gotten her PR visa under 4 weeks grin therefore she might not understand the agony of long wait for PPR grin (just kidding), I think your point of view is valid, it doesn't worth the ache with this trump era, I hope she rethinks this before making the move.

Itzpearlz:
I'm very new on these streets (and probably still thinking in very Nigerian terms cheesy) but I'd like to share my opinions on your post.
Please, consider landing at Canada first and completing all your documentation before the US travel. You really don't want to hear stories that touch after the long hassle of getting PPR. I really think you can always travel from Canada to US as you please once you're done with your PR documentations.
There may be no written rule that is against your plans per se, but why would you want to put yourself under so much scrutiny and checks?

its dicey though because marriage certificate is one of those docs they now use to corroborate info submitted, i noticed this in a GCMS note from a friend where the VO was confused of the job title he provided during marriage and the difference in what was submitted at same period in his personal history... please do all you can to sort it out before submitting. i dont know the approach to this because the conflicting docs you have on age are too vital to make such mistake, others would weigh in their opinions. good luck

sesay:
Good morning, please the age on my marriage certificate is different from the one on my Int'l passport and I'm about to submit my express entry application due to ITA I got last week. Please I need your candid advice.

that is how it used to be, you are on the right track. only your spouses name would be required at the stage you are.

Shindar:
Good evening FAM, I'm a bit confused o. Is there anywhere to fill in dependent's name while completing the express entry profile? I filled the form but its showing only my spouse's name as dependent and not my daughter. Pls help, kinda urgent. Thanks
