YES!!!, you are only exempted if you have a Canada degree.

mynameisnoname:
Good evening everyone, is anyone here with a masters degree in USA. I’m confused, is it necessary to evaluate ones degree using WES.

In any case, I'm wondering if there is an info on CIC website on the currency of the letter of PoF.

I'll like to be enlightened please.

ednut1:

nothing of such on IRCC website and if its a new development post the link, try to avoid all this youtube videos that aims at getting more views than giving a valid info, please edit your post asap. thanks for trying to help the Moniker in question anyways.

fmsimple:
Your reference must not be older than 6 months when you're submitting it. If you post date it, then you must confirm that the HR boss hasn't changed at submission.

Best wishes.

what else would you have done than be hopeful undecided, your score is not bad at all.I hope the 459 is not a prospective score and hope you are in the pool already? if yes wait for it, ITA will show up for you soon grin

Ibromoney:
I simulated my crs mark and I got 459. Is there a chance of getting ITA because the current draw for FSW is 470+? I mean, should I be hopeful that the mark will reduce with time. Thanks.

In my opinion, i think its ok, all she has to do is write a detail LOE to explain the situation. Please don’t come for me ooo, na my opinion others can weigh in theirs.

MINTss:
Good day please,
Please ild like to confirm for my sibling please. She’s currently single but has a child by her long term partner, her crs currently as a single person is 471, I advise that she does a court marriage post ita and add her spouse, but she’s confused because they already have a child together. Please does my suggestion to her seem Okay?

if you are not claiming points from it you don't need a reference letter, let the NYSC experience go to personal history

linkin8k:
I've search the forum and couldn't find anything on the "Personal activities" section. I did NYSC less than 10 years ago, should I put that as "Employed" under Activities Type? Why I ask is because it would be nearly impossible for me to get reference letters for that.

Thanks

well i have 4years plus experience in my field with CLB 9 and i still have a score not competitive, probably having 8-9 yrs might do the trick.

for sasks if you dont have ties (sibling, relative or attend school there) with them you wont be competitive, your point will be low in the pool.... talking from my personal experience CC @Graiccy

Tina26:
check saskatchewan pnp if your occupation is eligible. the rest chose from the pool. manitoba like you know requires relatives
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eraytee: 2:33pm On Oct 31, 2019
yes of course but the provinces where you can get that chance easily are Alberta and Ontario that picks directly from the express entry pool. for these two provinces you don't need a sibling or relative to get nominated its strictly based on NOC in-demand in their province.

can i go through PNP without having a family member there? if yes, pls tell me how to o about it...

visit the CIC website and go and read about spouse sponsorship its all there for you to read.... its a process that its better if you read it yourself you would understand better than people giving you half baked info.

Thanks for your response. What am asking is how easy is it to bring my wife when I eventually get there? Do you know the process please?

There’s nothing to be bothered about, you are post-AOR already and he has 470+ crs which is a surety for draws at the moment. Please go on with your life and enjoy yourself. Las las @bold is still a life-ticket to take. You both are on good course.

Snowflake27:
My fiance and i both decided to pursue PPR individually. I got ITA in June with 493, he didn't because of IELTS anyways he rewrote his IELTS in September and maxed out his points.
He then updated his profile after the first draw this month, & he was on 476, we were hoping for a draw on the 16th however, that didn't happen.
Then to make matters worse, he turned a year older this month and is down to 473 angry angry angry sad

Hopefully, the next draw favors us, if not we just get married oo & raise CSE

PNP is not favorable to everyone, no one at this moment will not consider PNP with the way the scores are on rocket mood, your NOC is the major thing. if its not in demand nothing you can do about it. I submitted EOI to sasks and PEI but not competitive because i dont have siblings/relative in both provinces. my NOC is not in demand by Ontario who peaks from the pool. in situations like this what are we suppose do? its exhausting i wont lie to you. may God help our hustle towards this canny dream.

CanadianBae:
Have you considered PNP?

if anyone should ask me how was my night right now?, i'd say it was full of different thoughts. Major congratulations to ITA clinchers yesterday, may the rest of the journey be smooth and for us in the 450's range, we cant loose hope at this point. personally am preparing to move my score to 459 by trying to max out ielts but with all these cutoff scores its natural to be weak sad angry about it but we cant stop doing what we had to do to improve our scores. if you are in my shoes don't be discouraged we will be alright.

Use the search bar to check BCS or check page 1 of this thread. the next exam is March 2020, if you are swift enough you might be able to write it.

OfficialUncle:
Hello,

I am totally new to this immigration system. I sat to IELTS once, I just got my result and it's perfect. I need to boost my CRS score. I have a B.Tech Chemistry and I need an additional certificate to boost my score as I don't have a master's degree.

Which exam is best for me please? Is CIMA advisable?? I have a free November and December so I can focus 100% on any exam I decide to write.

Please advise.

please kindly respond to your PM, i need info from you for my younger brother who wants to do this BCS.

feyfey007:
.

BCS proved very useful for me. I wrote in March and got my certificate in June. It also improved my CRS point. Since I am above the age threshold, I am still writting IELTS hoping to get the highest CLB.
My point is, try to write BCS exams. It is IT based but very easy to pass if you use a tutor since I did not have an IT background. I am a graduate of Library and Archival Studies.
If you need further advice, you can contact me or visit their website.

@bold cracked me up cheesy na to dey ask your bae qualification and ielts score now before you tie the knot grin if you dont have these things biko pak N go grin the hustle is real

johnnybravo1990:
Best case scenario, cut-off drops to 453 by late December or early next January. Worst case scenario, you write another IELTS by the time you get 3 years experience, i.e. if your IELTS expires by then. Between these two scenarios, there are other possibilities: write TEF, marry your bae if they have the same qualifications as you to boost your CRS score, or go for provincial nomination.

Hmmm just like others have said, its total concentration you need. I had similar experience and i fully understand the frustration attached to this. Just practice more and discover the section(s) where you fail often. I won’t lie to you, you are good just have that at the back of your mind. I believe you will get through.

All you have to do is raise a CSE to inform IRCC about change in your status. check under FAQ on page 1 for details on how to add spouse post-AOR.
she would be required to do PCC and Medicals, You will have to update your POF for family of 2. thats all you need to do
