Please, people of God....help! This is from a previous application. An immigration lawyer filled in the wrong course of study in a previous Canadian Study permit application which was eventually refused in 2015. I reviewed the GCMS notes just yesterday and realized that the course of study which the agent input into that application was incorrect and she never included any documentation as proof i.e. B. Sc. certificate. She was provided with all my statement result and every other relevant info she could have possibly needed. I sent her an email as soon as I found out, as she is resident in Canada. I've tried calling but have been unable to get in contact with her. The due date for my EE application submission is on Friday guys. Please how best do I tackle this issue please? I need advice. Seniors, elders....this is when I need you the most. Helpppp!!!!

I'm presently at 444, but will be at 459 by Monday. With the 459 I'm still scared and have decided that hubby and I will rewrite ielts since I have 6 more marks to max out and hubby has 4 more marks.

That's my last resort. I have been in the pool since 4th of February with 449, lost 5 marks on my birthday in March.

So that's my plan. [b]Rewrite ielts [/b]and hope between hubby and me that we can get at least 4 or 5 out of the 10 marks and wait for the B2B draw in December.

no mention of currency. If you submit naira or cad equivalent it still flies. Am sure u did loe for cad equivalent

Your reference must not be older than 6 months when you're submitting it. If you post date it, then you must confirm that the HR boss hasn't changed at submission.

I simulated my crs mark and I got 459. Is there a chance of getting ITA because the current draw for FSW is 470+? I mean, should I be hopeful that the mark will reduce with time. Thanks.

She’s currently single but has a child by her long term partner, her crs currently as a single person is 471, I advise that she does a court marriage post ita and add her spouse, but she’s confused because they already have a child together. Please does my suggestion to her seem Okay?

I've search the forum and couldn't find anything on the "Personal activities" section. I did NYSC less than 10 years ago, should I put that as "Employed" under Activities Type? Why I ask is because it would be nearly impossible for me to get reference letters for that.

My fiance and i both decided to pursue PPR individually. I got ITA in June with 493, he didn't because of IELTS anyways he rewrote his IELTS in September and maxed out his points.
He then updated his profile after the first draw this month, & he was on 476, we were hoping for a draw on the 16th however, that didn't happen.
Then to make matters worse, he turned a year older this month and is down to 473

Hopefully, the next draw favors us, if not we just get married oo & raise CSE

I am totally new to this immigration system. I sat to IELTS once, I just got my result and it's perfect. I need to boost my CRS score. I have a B.Tech Chemistry and I need an additional certificate to boost my score as I don't have a master's degree.

Which exam is best for me please? Is CIMA advisable?? I have a free November and December so I can focus 100% on any exam I decide to write.

Please advise.

BCS proved very useful for me. I wrote in March and got my certificate in June. It also improved my CRS point. Since I am above the age threshold, I am still writting IELTS hoping to get the highest CLB.
My point is, try to write BCS exams. It is IT based but very easy to pass if you use a tutor since I did not have an IT background. I am a graduate of Library and Archival Studies.

Best case scenario, cut-off drops to 453 by late December or early next January. Worst case scenario, you write another IELTS by the time you get 3 years experience, i.e. if your IELTS expires by then. Between these two scenarios, there are other possibilities: write TEF, marry your bae if they have the same qualifications as you to boost your CRS score, or go for provincial nomination.
