Thank you Sir, when last did a son of a nobody call on the police for an emergency and they responded? When last did you see the police respond to a robbery in your area on time to apprehend the criminals? when last did any bank robbery in Nigeria get foiled by the Police? When last did the police carried a detailed investigation for the son of a nobody to help him get justice?

What we see today is the rot that has eaten deep, a grown cancer for years! The political class only care about themselves and not the masses. We have had peace because Nigerians are peaceful people not because we have had security. In this time and day we can't have emergency numbers running and working well?

In the South-East by now with the rise insecurity, almost every state should have been an integrated framework of communication between security operatives, whereby each Police station can easily link up to the next in case of an emergencies and get back up racing down. I saw in Enugu, an attack on a station that happen around 1am by 8am, the corpse of police officers killed where still on the ground! Their own guys didn't turn up for their colleagues.

The Government has forever failed us, it's sad.. these men don't care for us or for the men on the front line, a clear example we just saw the father of the Nation failing to pay his respect at the burial of the Chief of army staff, how do you want the followers in terms of Governors to act now?

They have failed they have always failed it's just showing now I pray God helps us.

Very soon, men would ambush government convoys and the aided would disappear... Their lives don't matter, so needless to waste it for a bastar.d.
Other state that are being hit consistently already have a framework that they work with that have been helping the police in that area push back until back up arrive .
But Enugu didn't because it was not expected to happen in that state most especially that police station because it was built by the community and most of the officers their are their people.
Enugu has always been peaceful

Element of surprise...?
That's what the are trained for. No criminal will come knocking before attacking. So they should expect the surprise.

With the current man power of our police, they can't successfully defend each station across the east. What I expect is from them to vacate every station and consolidate their man power in protecting the state HQ. Cos right now, the are spread so thin and can't effectively defend themselves. So instead of loosing more men in an already lost battle, they should consolidate and defend the HQ.
I don't think you know what the element of surprise is,it will disorientate you, your training will jump in the wind.
They should consolidate their manpower in the state hq,won't produce any positive result apart from keeping their armoury from being looted .
This will give the UGM an environment to trive and recruit many young dumb people

Funny how we haven't heard from Amnesty International. When these A-holes start getting murded, then they will wake up and complain.
you'd think by now all police stations over there would have been fortified by now, but nope. life is too cheap for that side.
Those police are trying, they have upgrade .
Apart from the last 2 hit on their station they have been doing well. The issue now is that those UGM do come in packs of packs and sometimes do have the element of surprise

Well, it is actually medically possible. Not validating the claims of the guy but it is very possible for bullet to penetrate the chest and exit at the back without injuring any important structure. It however depends on the exact location of the entry and that is where medical forensic experts should be called in to assess the wound.
First off we are talking about close range shot, which when it hits there is blow back of flesh, shot in the chest with fracture most likely a blank bullet,
If he was hit from the front there is a possibility of his lungs collapsing except if it passes some inches to the side.
Before reaching marina there is a possibility of bleeding to death.
Let look around those route

It didn't. It crashed land after an attempted landing on the runway. It didn't even touched down. I swear. I would only fly turboprop during basic flight training. Those things are really vulnerable during storms, bird strikes e.t.c. The exposed propellers makes it too vulnerable
News said it touched down but went off the run way

The alpha jet is the workhorse of the NAF, in the course the 11 years insurgency, they've flown several thousand hours. How long until these few aircrafts reach their service span limit? What if they've actually passed it? Same as the beechcrafts.

Before now, we've had very little crash in the 11 years insurgency. If these series of crashes are due to poor maintenance culture, does that mean the lack of incidents in the last few years have been due to luck?

NAF pilots have one of the longest flight experience and training in Africa. So poor training is out of it. If it were training, we would have lost more than 10 within a year considering how frequently they fly.
I think maintenance should also be ruled out cos this plans are been maintained regularly

My grandparents did same when Nigerian soldiers entered a village in the East where they where in refuge during the last days of the Nigeria civil war. The effective Biafra propaganda machine had long since convinced everyone in the East of the dire consequences of Nigeria soldiers’ occupancy of Igbo towns and villages. Naturally as Nigerian troops rolled in, my grandmum and all the villagers considered themselves finished and yet they cheered and waved raffia, wrappers, even small children, anything they could, they waved in celebration. They did this in terror, to placate the soldiers and to give the impression that they are on the side of forces occupying the area. You’ll find this behaivoyur in all conflict zone, it is a universal response.
it becomes a universal response when their houses start getting burnt and their children start starving or when they are also visited by the same horror they cheered

I find out that anytime the military hit a block most of us here come out to criticize without finding out what the real issue is, what actually happened and always get swayed by hearsay from different sources which you cant confirm except the government release a statement about it.
Fighting a war has it up and down, different country military all have setbacks and mind you they also have their base overrun, lost equipment and also dropped artillery shell and air bomb on their own troop(by mistake).

It's almost a week since ISWAP seized Geidam. They are consolidating their grip over that town, winning the hearts and minds of the inhabitants.

It is reported that they preach in Mosque, share religious leaflets and now they have started giving out money. ISWAP seems to be getting their strategy rights while the army is still churning out propaganda about reclaiming the town. To even note that Geidam is the home town of the current IG of police makes the whole thing tragicomical
This tells me something about ISWAAP they need more manpower

dream about. How can you have such a defense budget and such arsenal but yet keep having your ass whooped up by guys with sandals and AK47. NA has become a mall center for those guys.look at MRAPs just delivered this month is already in BH or ISWAPs hand. Those same equipments would be turned and used against neighboring nations.
It's really a pity when I see what the NA has become.

Why use old images though? The army has once again allowed Twitter husslers aka, "terrorism experts" to start controlling the narrative. This is why we are seeing lots of made up names of ISWAP fighters claimed killed. Nigeria army and the DSS do not have enough intelligence to actually tell the names of dead terrorists that accurately and consistently.
Have you tried to check the names of the commanders killed before this list and crosscheck it with the one Boko haram realise. I think you should try to cos that will clear a lot of doubt

HQ Nigerian Army
HOW ISWAP SENIOR COMMANDER, FIGHTERS ON REVENGE MISSION MET THEIR WATERLOO AT DAMASAK

A senior Commander of ISWAP, Bukar Gana Fitchmeram (aka Abu Aisha), and scores of his fighters who were on revenge mission at Damasak, fell to the fire power of Nigerian troops Thursday. The terrorist and his fighters met their waterloo as they made a come-back following the neutralization of 12 high value ISWAP commanders in Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State in a week-long air and ground operations by the Nigerian military.

In a well-coordinated ground bombardments and aerial strikes by the Nigerian military on various locations in the Northeast, the terrorists who were denied any sanctuary or respite desperately conducted two separate failed attacks on Gajiram and Damasak.

The deadly air strikes conducted on Tudun Wulgo, Zari and Tumbun Alhaji, Kusuma, Sigir in Ngala and Arijallamari, in Abadam, Marte and Ngala Local government Areas, led to the killing of top ISWAP Leaders. The Commanders that perished in the airstrikes included; Mohammad Fulloja , Ameer Mallam Bello, Ba'a kaka Tunkushe, Abu Muktar Al -Ansari, Ameer Abba Kaka, Abu Huzaifa, Ameer Modu Kwayem, while Goni Mustapha who was the Chief Imam of the ISWAP escaped with bullet wounds.

Troops’ artillery bombardment and air strikes on April 6 also resulted to the elimination of two top ISWAP leaders including Abu-Rabi and Muhammed Likita as well as scores of their troops and body guards around the axis of Kusuma, Sigir in Ngala and Arijallamari in Abadam Local Government Areas.
The terrorists’ storage facilities that housed weapons used to conduct several attacks was also targeted and destroyed in the air raid by the Air Component of Operation Lafita Dole.

On the night of Saturday, April 10, three other terrorist Commanders including Ameer Umar, Abu Ubaida and Abu Salim were ambushed and killed by own troops around Wulgo / Logomani axis close to Cameroon borders while attempting to attack locals and rustle their cows. The devastating air strikes and artillery bombardment on the ISWAP camps had pushed the surviving elements to conduct desperate attacks and looting missions for food and drugs for their wounded colleagues.

Also on April 11, the Nigerian military bombardments eliminated scores of ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists on five guntrucks in Damasak. Some of the terrorists were hits close to the perimeter fencing, while others were neutralized while attempting to loot food items in a store belonging to the United Nations as well as drugs and ambulance. However, three soldiers and some civilians lost their lives while properties were burnt in the town.

Some of the terrorist still got access to the town burning and looting items before vacating the area. It is also noteworthy that Damasak has been attacked several times and failed. Troops’ fighting spirit remains very high in spite of the nefarious activities of some local informants who often tip the Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists on troops’ movements and positions.
