Look at this fool

Is accident which fall under emergency and falling ill and going to the hospital thesame? Even in Nigeria where things are not proper, emergencies are ought to be prioritized.

I say it categorically again, in US and Canada, there are aspects your so called healthcare package does not cover. For dental services for instance in Canada, you must have a private insurance to get that. It’s even worse in the State.

Instead of sounding foolish you can google to confirm even if you haven’t been there before.
You even sound worse than I thought. You are a lost sheep. You are trying to describe a society that I have lived in my total adult life to me .The problem with people like u is ur Ego. You think you are too big to learn and the reality is U know jackshaft. For the benefit of other the NHS covers all aspect of Health care. If not people on Benefit and pay cheques wont have dental services. YOU want to appear sufisticated but in reality U are one bunch of ignorant human living in an Enclosed Camp.

Yinmu.…

There are millions of undocumented individuals who pay through their nose to get those services. Even for those that are documented, there is a limit to what the healthcare card covers.
yimu if you know how silly you sound you will reboot your phone, there is no immigration requirement to treat anyone in the UK if you suddenly fall ill, If you are ill you get treated first then asked questions later. If you have an accident on the road ambulance come to your location administer stability and take you to A7E then they stabilize and treat youthly dont give a damn if you are documented or not.I have said it B4, you lot have been so wronged and robbed of your rights now the wrong is now the norm, its a shte living I tell yah. There is no limit to what the NHS cover even Hip replacement is done on the NHS even sex change is done on the NHS

That is why when they leave Nigeria, they attend MBA programs to work as proper managers in the abroad, not as cleaners. That is my point: no bank manager in Nigeria goes to the abroad to work as a cleaner. If that is the case, why don't managers in the Big4 go to the UK to work as cleaners?

P.S. Permanent staff, not contract staff.
They don't, they come under the skilled Migrant route. For you to be a manager you need UK work time experience not Degrees. The west believes in what you can do plus exirience not plenty degree and talk. If you do not know ask those who work abroad.

If a bank manager leaves Nigeria to work in the US, the major routes are school and through NIW. For school, he would attend a good MBA program so he could replicate his role while in Nigeria. He had a high living standard in Nigeria and wants to replicate the same thing in the US. He is a human being. I know a man who worked in PwC Nigeria as a manager and moved to the US to do his MBA at an M7 b-school. Today, he works at a BoFA. Are you saying while in Nigeria as a manager at PwC Nigeria, a cleaner in the US had a higher standard of living than him? Why didn't he become a cleaner in the US?

cc: erico2k2 Any bank manager in Nigeria who wants to work in the UK will attend a good school for MBA: Imperial, Cambridge Jugdes, Oxford Said (an executive assistant to the CEO of Zenith Bank finished from there), Warwick, LBS, LSE and even Cranfield. His job after graduation from any of those schools would pay him FAR HIGHER than a skyscraper cleaner in the UK. I maintain my stance: a bank manager in Nigeria has a higher standard of living than a skyscraper in the UK.
You do not have a clue of what a manager should be. You do not manage the Job, that's micromanaging you instead Manage people. I will use myself as an Example, I am a manger where I work and I have 11 supervisors who intern have 5 person on thier team at a time these are constant anything else is temp .Now we have 4 doctors on our team as the law requires us to do.I manage them all does that mean I now have to have a degree in medical science?I have Electrical Engineers on my team so as structural Engineers, Im only a Fluid Engineer so do I need to have an Elect Elect to manage those who are Electrical Engineers? Managing people is a whole different set of skills. A Hospital manager does not need to be a doctor. Sometimes yah lot need to chill and think outta the box

Does that apply to McKinsey's consultants in Nigeria? Does a skyscraper cleaner in the UK have a higher standard of living than someone working with KPMG Nigeria?

Do you know what it is to be a bank manager? Permanent staff o, not contract staff.
Bross the bank manager is meant to be a manager. Like any other manager. that's how its meant to be unless for the corruption in the banking sector and Nigeria in General. If not what's the average salary of a bank manager?

What I am doesn not matter. You said HMO is dead and just wanted to correct that impression that it's not dead.

HMO has paid medicals bills of more 700k for me at once. I didn't pay one kobo. And that is just one instance

Let's stop making exergerated statements to paint the country's situation worse than it is
it does cos if you are a civil servant then you are talking gibberish however if you work in a public sector, it means you or your employer is paying of it.So what your company has is a private medical Insurance for its Employee. This is totally different if you work for the civil service which in Nigeria constitute 65 to 70% of the workforce in Nigeria. This is what the NHS and the Obama care came to address.

like I said earlier "I was rushing to an event" so I was speeding, which made the police to demand for my driver's license.
the offense is, they charged me for reckless driving and challenging officers on duty. that's what brought about the 5k settlement.
you did not have you licence with you did you? Police cannot charge you with speeding In NIgeria as they do not yet have instruments to measure the speed to which you was traveling on.
Car Talk › Re: Does The Police Force Has The Jurisdiction To Ask For Driver's License? by erico2k2(m): 5:07pm On Dec 16, 2023
DamnnNiggarr:
Do police have the jurisdiction to demand nor ask for driver's license?

I was highly frustrated today, while I was on my way rushing to an event to meet up with the 10:00 AM deadline for the event which I was also the chairman, a group of some fiercely-looking police officers flagged down my vehicle and I slowed down.

One of the officers came towards my vehicle, ordered me to come out from the car and started demanding for my driver's license. I was like, what is going on?

In as much as I am aware that police officers have taken it upon themselves to be asking people for their vehicle particulars, which is a good way of tracking stolen cars, they asked for it and I provided it, but asking people for their driver's license is what I think is out of the picture.

I tried to exercise my right as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by briefly dragging it with them initially, which I think this issue of police asking for driver's license had raised dust sometime ago, but I realized that I'm still in Nigeria, last last, I settled with 5k, this is with abeg o, after several hours and minutes had gone by, I arrived the event place by 01:15 PM, an event slated for 10:00 AM.

like I said earlier, asking for car particulars from people by the police is good, but asking for driver's license is where I think the issue lies. I thought anything that has to do with checking of drivers license is strictly under the jurisdiction of the FRSC?

I'm feeling nothing but anger and cheated which gave rise to many questions going through my mind;
Who gave the police officers the jurisdiction to be asking for driver's license?
Is there any amended law(s) that granted the police force that power?
Every Nations of the world, Police have the right to ask for your driving licence. You are required to provide it when asked. You my friend is now one of the problems of Nigeria as you paid the police(bribe) instead of simply providing your driving licence unless you do not have one. Your driving licence is needed to identify you as the person whom you claim you are and driving. You need it for one purpose which is Driving so leave it in your car if you have one!

Some care workers make way more than that
There is another basic Economic fact you guys do not know, you basic salary those specify the salary you take home, I will take myself as an Example cos I am a hands on worker. Now I earn as much as my basic salary in overtime and off duties work cos we do not call it over time we call it premium pay ie x2 or x3 our basic pay per Hour. There is a lot you guys do not know about the west so It would be in your own interest to allow those who live i n the west to explain stuff to you guys to increase your KnowledgeSet is not an argument but basic truth, There is a lot you guys do now know but Im sure o nce you ask the right questions respectively you will get the right answers!

The truth is that considering the dollar to naira exchange, the pay out there is huge but because you are spending it in their economy, your rat race just begun!
how about if he went there to hustle solo? and live in one room for the next three years and come back to 9ja?
