vanbonattel:Well mr who ever you are out of respect for somehow who is losing money I seize to engage with you.cos right now I see you are hell bent on frustrating his effort, I don't know why but I see you clearly, I don't know why the Admin has no locked the thread yet |
vanbonattel:Dont you know more than 5 persons already done that B4 now? If not for respect of not opening Old wounds, I will call name from leaking roof to falling fence and sinking houses or theft to properties, where do you want us to start, the Elders have told people stop giving this guy work. What else do you want us to do shut down the thread?? |
vanbonattel:@ somehow, you see how insulative this guy is now? this was what I meant. This rant brings out all manner of miscreant |
somehow:Are you sure you are OK?you are not OLDER than me on this forum go and check, you joined in 2009, thats 2 years after I joined. |
vanbonattel:This is very Disrespectful,. |
somehow:The title anything to do with buildings, However FYI as you don't know, this thread was created cos me and mr Egunmogaji was having a debate while he was in US about tools and machines for the building trade then hajji felt we was distracting people from the original property thread so he created this one, go to page one you will know what I am talking about. Now if you feel aggrieved why don't you create a thread for this? Instead of populating this thread as against people who wants to learn and have questions to ask the pros on here? Do you think this is fair on them lot? Honestly do you think so, I share and understand where you are coming from but we must think of others too.6 years is such a long time for you not to have dealt with this issue, Ask yourself this ,how many of the Old hands here did you see put themselves into this issue right about now? somewhere in the past someone even accused few Oldies on here of siding with n3xt and sharing monies with him, So Bro not being rude, create a new thread name it as to the effect of what you seek against n3st, it will be there as well as deterrent. The you can instreuct your lawyers to deal with the issue and NL Docs plus obtained ones on your part will serve as evidence. |
somehow:My friend 6 years after but I am telling you this your constant nagging is disrupting the thread and disturbing the peace, instruct your damn lawyers to go and deal with the man, he has a fixed abode,Like I said b4, I will BAn ur user name if I was Admin cos this is how things like this end up distracting the real reason this thread was posted, Admin plz lock thread |
somehow:Bro Im not going t o be harsh on you cos you are losing money here, I feel this, However I joined Nairaland 2007 and you did 2009, Im sure you are old enough on this platform to understand how this works. I don't want to list names and open bad wounds, but if you search on here long enough you will see this same pattern play out with n3xt/brabus and other names he has.you will get to know this same guy has up to 5 user names on nairaland. No one is saying do not give people work but why this same guy with multiple issues and do you think its fair people of this forum and reminded of same thing year in year out? do you think so? be honest? |
Godisgreatest1:There is a saying that if you want to dine with the devil you need a long spoon, How many times have we been here with n3xt ![]() People like him are who I call necessary evil, U got to be full proof to deal with him. If you search on him here you will see countless cases against him and his response are all same. He has all his facts and evidence ready for any sort of litigation as u can see from all his response. If after all the talk year in year out U still go and deal with him and you do not have a long spoon U come here to complain? don't you think we here from day one have the right to be angry and think you are taking us back to the pages amongst the 200s?Look at how many pages we have spent on this issue dont you see how this is denying others who want to learn the privileges and more so for other contractors and builders on here who want to showcase their own service and products, this cast a dark shadow on them of which the reality on ground is not truee.Do you have any idea of how many persons on here and off line have lost money to this same guy?All I got to say is simple, arrest the guy or take him to court if he is found wanting, all this back and fort on NL wont work cos all we can only do is ask one person to pay the other. |
Tiny fluorescent particles, laser light used to study water flowing through tire grooves. When a vehicle travels over a wet or flooded road, water builds up in front of the tire and generates a lift force. In a phenomenon known as hydroplaning, this force can become large enough to lift the vehicle off the ground. In Physics of Fluids, by AIP Publishing, scientists from the CNRS, the University of Lyon, and The Michelin Group use a laser imaging technique to study water flow in front of and through tire grooves. To counteract hydroplaning, tread designs are chosen to drain water from the front of the tire without decreasing its ability to adhere to the road. Very few quantitative experimental studies of the movement of water through tire grooves have been done, so little is known about the exact flow patterns in these situations. The only previously published work reporting quantitative velocity measurements in tire grooves was done with a high-speed camera and used millet seeds as water tracers. The seeds are about 1.5 millimeters in diameter, though, and provide poor contrast, so velocity information inside the grooves was not usable for a flow analysis. Currently, research into hydroplaning uses a test track equipped with a transparent window embedded in the ground. The area above is flooded and a tire rolling over the window is observed with a high-speed camera. The investigators developed a more sophisticated approach involving fluorescent seeding particles to visualize the flow and used a sheet of laser light to illuminate the area. The fluorescent particles were only 35 microns in diameter, about half the thickness of a human hair, with a density close to water. “The first remarkable feature of the flow inside grooves is the presence of white elongated filaments or columns,” said author Damien Cabut. “This indicates the presence of a gaseous phase, possibly air https://scitechdaily.com/complex-fluid-dynamics-may-explain-hydroplaning-phenomenon/ |
Princeton researchers have solved a 54-year-old puzzle about why certain fluids strangely slow down under pressure when flowing through porous materials, such as soils and sedimentary rocks. The findings could help improve many important processes in energy, environmental and industrial sectors, from oil recovery to groundwater remediation. The fluids in question are called polymer solutions. These solutions — everyday examples of which include cosmetic creams and the mucus in our noses — contain dissolved polymers, or materials made of large molecules with many repeating subunits. Typically, when they’re put under pressure, polymer solutions become less viscous and flow faster. But when going through materials with lots of tiny holes and channels, the solutions tend to become more viscous and gunky, reducing their flow rates. To get at the root of the problem, the Princeton researchers devised an innovative experiment using a see-through porous medium made of tiny glass beads — a transparent artificial rock. This lucid medium allowed the researchers to visualize a polymer solution’s movement. The experiment revealed that the long-baffling increase in viscosity in porous media happens because the polymer solution’s flow becomes chaotic, much like turbulent air on an airplane ride, swirling into itself and gumming up the works. https://scitechdaily.com/fractured-artificial-rock-helps-crack-a-strange-54-year-old-fluid-mystery/ |
An international team of scientists have identified antibodies that neutralize omicron and other SARS-CoV-2 variants. These antibodies target areas of the virus spike protein that remain essentially unchanged as the viruses mutate. By identifying the targets of these "broadly neutralizing" antibodies on the spike protein, it might be possible to design vaccines and antibody treatments that will be effective against not only the omicron variant but other variants that may emerge in the future, said David Veesler, investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and associate professor of biochemistry at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. "This finding tells us that by focusing on antibodies that target these highly conserved sites on the spike protein, there is a way to overcome the virus' continual evolution," Veesler said. Veesler led the research project with Davide Corti of Humabs Biomed SA, Vir Biotechnology, in Switzerland. The study's findings were published Dec. 23 in the journal Nature. The lead authors of the study were Elisabetta Cameroni and Christian Saliba (Humabs), John E. Bowen (UW Biochesmistry) and Laura Rosen (Vir). The omicron variant has 37 mutations in the spike protein, which it uses to latch onto and invade cells. This is an unusually high number of mutations. It is thought that these changes explain in part why the variant has been able to spread so rapidly, to infect people who have been vaccinated and to reinfect those who have previously been infected. "The main questions we were trying to answer were: how has this constellation of mutations in the spike protein of the omicron variant affected its ability to bind to cells and to evade the immune system's antibody responses," Veesler said. [Veesler and his colleagues speculate that omicron's large number of mutations might have accumulated during a prolonged infection in someone with a weakened immune system or by the virus jumping from humans to an animal species and back again.] To assess the effect of these mutations, the researchers engineered a disabled, nonreplicating virus, called a pseudovirus, to produce spike proteins on its surface, as coronaviruses do. They then created pseudoviruses that had spike proteins with the omicron mutations and those found on the earliest variants identified in the pandemic. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2021-12-scientists-antibodies-neutralize-omicron.html

Good evening house, here we are again, almost 2022 we still at where we started. Anyways, I do not wish anyone loses money or clients but as an Old member of this thread and was there from DAY one, I will like to say this, if I was Admin, in 2022, if anyone comes on here to complain about n3xt,I would place them on a BAN if anyone thinks my response is insensitive by all means quote me, I have a very good reason! |
ModelLook:ok but the way the OP wrote his post he should have said private school teachers |
ModelLook:Im sure you guys mean private schools |
HellVictorinho3:Well the govt teacher are well PAID. I know this as a fact. |
KulHeadedHuman:What teachers are we talking about? private or govt cos teachers are well paid in the civil service. |
tutudesz:I agree, and someone will learn from this. |
Samueltemi337:Dont go that far, go to UK ,US or Canada, 4get the rest. |
macjireh:Guns position has grip angle, have a look at the two pics upstairs. |
macjireh:This one off my PHONE ![]() Look at the diagram, I have made a lil cartoon of you holding a gun at 90 degs You who was in Class have a look on here at a guy at a shooting range, you probably never been to one 1 https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=LYhn1OKN&id=13859D861E692110B94A4796E7A57F0ED686C32D&thid=OIP.LYhn1OKNu_dO6vZ7lFF-CwHaEK&mediaurl=https%3a%2f%2fi.ytimg.com%2fvi%2fXkBWk7AGj1o%2fmaxresdefault.jpg&cdnurl=https%3a%2f%2fth.bing.com%2fth%2fid%2fR.2d8867d4e28dbbf74eeaf67b94517e0b%3frik%3dLcOG1g5%252fpeeWRw%26pid%3dImgRaw%26r%3d0&exph=720&expw=1280&q=shooting+at+90+degress&simid=608036265436914537&FORM=IRPRST&ck=33DCDE39F3EABFA742F604745CF64873&selectedIndex=0&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0 Look at this guy holding a Mossberg, that's a 90 Degs grip, Try and learn from other b4 you embarrass urself in the name of ITK!
|
isaiah4life:Few of them, this fuy, Don jazzy, but our twins I nor know ohhh |
macjireh:I think you need to brush up on your maths skill, less than 90 Degs means downwards.90Degs means straight at your eye line.I dont know why you lot like to talk about stuff you know nothing about. When you shoot above 90 degs it means you have raised ur aim upwards and ur intended target is above ur eye line. How do you think the gun scope works then?lets move on, we done here. |
Tpharell:I agree with you on that one however me and you do not know what happened to thier clothes though |
ThinkSmarter:Are we talking of the mass of one object or two different object here? Also you did not manage to give any solution to the question you quoted |
ThinkSmarter:In advance physics it is called a Fictious force as it cannot be felt, hence that tag. As you stand in ur room this morning, that force is what is pulling you to the floor, but can you feel it? This is why it is tagged as such. |
ThinkSmarter:Did you for once stop to think of the mass of a sewing needle? unfortunately, this science does not support this example you tried to pass on plz look for something you can back with science. Or You can answer the question above. This might lead to some sort bof understanding! |
ThinkSmarter:YOu guys want to derv into the world of advance physics but studied it only in secondary school, for your information The gravitational force is a fictitious force. There is no gravitational acceleration, in that the proper acceleration and hence four-acceleration of objects in free fall are zero. Rather than undergoing an acceleration, objects in free fall travel along straight lines ( geodesics) on the curved spacetime.U can even find that i n google. I see U ADDED M/S2, LET ME GIVE YOU A SMALL ASSIGNMENT If a hammer has a mass of 50kg, what is its weight? knowing its weight what is its acceleration then? Clue is in newtons 2nd law. lets see if it is greater than the force of gravity! |
macjireh:Bross The Bolded OFF ME the average mass of a Bullet is between 0.02kg and 0.04 Kg, how can that kill ? ![]() Bross abeg go sleep this one off me i swear down |
macjireh:Bro Im getting tired however I will respond to this, the thing that will kiil you from such height is cos of the mass if not a tenis ball from such hiehgt will kill too. Research the meaning of mass, weight and gravity as relative to laws of newton. Mass is a measure of how much matter an object contains, while weight is a measure of the force of gravity on the object. Gravity is the attractive pulls between two things/objects that have mass.I shall stop here if not I will be sounding like talking jargons. |
