I created this thread because of one on one experiences.
No doubt, money is good.
But people lose their health, peace and even time to spend with their family in search of it.

Last two months, a friends mum sold a property which she has worked for over the years for 20mm at a distress sale, the whole proceed was spent on her medical trip to India for treatment. She didnt make it.

And the only thing she appreciated on her dying bed was her husband and two children who stood with her
If you check all the health issues raised are all terminal., let me give you an example, if you got enough money and you have HIV you will live almost anormal life but if you are poor you wont,If you have enough money and you Diabetes you will live longer than a person who has it but poor.

And this was just what I was saying. We are entering the insult stage. We can have conversation to improve and increase our knowledge. What I have said from the on set was based on research. The fraudsters you talked about in the west were brewed by us.

This is My last reply on this topic, and I am replying cos of the cross to entering into abuse on personality by you.

one of the first recorded fraud was by a white man, if I can call him that. It was the sale of the Eiffel Tower by some dude years after world war. It’s a long story so I will just leave it at that point. Nigerians are very intelligent people. One thing with knowledge is it can be used for good or bad. Hunger make people reason in a survival way (meaning, they only think of how to eat). This was what led to Nigerias using the knowledge for negative things. As of today, a reasonable amount of the bright kids are going left because the knowledge is not producing any good play, but their mates with same knowledge using it for negative course and making money. That’s why the fraudsters are increasing.

Take sentiment out, I am talking about how to fix the country. to fix the country we have to admit our failures, errors and mistakes. But above all we have to be honest and tell ourself the truth.

That is the end for me on this topic. Aprokodaughter said in one of her post that when conversation don de too long e no de good. And she’s right cos we wan de attack personality, which to me is my own line.

Regards and blessed week ahead.
Na wah, where the insult there?anyw ays, make I free U!

I don't let the jobs get into my way of uni. That's why I stayed clear of support or care work. Once the money start coming, you want to get more. I notice most agency are ready to give 40 hours they don't care. I agree all circumstances are not the same, most people who do this have to pay school fees. They work more than 20 hours or more. I had paid all my fees so I don't let small money get into my way when I know what I stand to benefit. This winter holidays I have been working on website design internship for 100 hours organized by my school and a local business. We only get paid £300. But the value of that experience to me is worth more than any part time job I can get. I have not work any job this winter break. I have spent most my time reading and on my internship. And during term I only work Saturdays and Sundays. Just to buy bus pass and pay necessary bills. Thanks for the advice. Cheers.
Good one, keep reading, one day it will pay off!

Yes, money is very much important. Not having it is a recipe for sadness or whataview. However, there are poor folks who doesn't had issues with their health. They could be poor but not battling with their health

There are rich folks who had health related issues and their money was used to combat it for the time being. Some didn't survived it despite the money but the money probably helped prolong it

I mean money isn't synonymous to sound health neither do poverty translate to ill health

In a nutshell, the rich folks will have the opportunity to tackle the health issues with money unlike poor folks who probably will lose their life quickly
I agree with a ll you said, But in a nutshell, when you are broke life is against you. If you come from a broke home and now you living average you will understand what I really mean. There is a big difference between people who pay for extra classes for their kids and those who cant afford it.There is a bigger difference btw drinking garri with salt and drinking garri with sugar Bro.If not for desperation to get money tell me why anyone should dig a house foundation by hand in Enugu state.

If you fix electricity and internet right now in Nigeria, you have just empowered us to become the best internet fraudsters the worlds has ever seen. In fact the best criminal is what we will become. Pablo and ep chapo go be learner for where our matter de.

We need to fix our mindset first. And with Nigerians present circumstances, you have to fix us with the poverty so that we know what having wealth is and should be about:

1. Not to intimidate others.
2. To provide for the country at large
3. Not to steal to get it so that we can be proud of our work.

Bros na big work na why I say make we just start to de raise our kids right.
Thats is backward and negetive thinking, U think we have fraudstars in Nigeria? the real fraudstars are in the West,

I agree with you. They devote large number of time for learning. I won't deny that.
The only problem I have with them is, if you're not Indian some of them don't see the obligation to offer help. So I've Been reading In expectation for next term. And I'm going to be rolling with the Indians now.

It took me by surprise I was expecting to see the white guys as some superstar but these India guys are now ruling the IT world, and one thing about them, they know what they are doing.
Just believe in yourself, , in the UK you got access to the same materials as the Indians, U don't need no one but yourself and God. But, the issue of looking for par time works tend to blind most of you guys these days and do not put in the shift when it comes to Uni.

You need to rephrase your statement. People who don't value you without money will never value you when you have money. They will value your money not you
Bro, the society do not work like that, people only value the works of your hand. The only people who place value to your person are your primary family those that are with you for life.ie kids and parents.

60% of Nigerians fall under what you listed including myself. Why are we not falling dead daily? Why do we have some rich men/women dying of terminal illness? Your ex president Yaradua died due to kidney failure. Your sitting president visit his doctor in the UK frequently while some poor men of his age are nothing but sound and healthy

Have you heard of the slang "The rich also cry?" Health related issues is part of it.
We are not talking about rich or poor, we talking Money, I think you missed the point here. The ex president might have died day one if he had no money to treat or manage his illnesses illness are terminal whilst some like malaria kill more poorer people than average earning families.
Look if you do not have Money or means to have legit money you are generally sad at all times.

having Money isn't a ticket to good health. There are tons of healthy poor folks as well as unhealthy rich persons. Vice versa!

Money is good but doesn't guarantee good health
if you are poor you cannot
1 Have 3 square meal a day
2 prevent illness. ie money for vitamins and even mosquito nets or eating right cabs and protein.
3 Not support your family might get(Depression and BP)

Happy new year everyone.

Money is sweet and all the daily struggles of life from going to school to learning a skill or taking a professional course or learning a trade is all to one goal; to make money and plenty of it. However in the cause of searching for this golden treasure, we often forget some things that taste better than money.

1. Good health:

The day you lose your health is the day you will realise that being in good health is the most important thing in life. There are wealthy people in poor state of health that wish they could trade their entire riches for a good health. If you can sleep and wake up without pills, eat and excrete, breath in and exhale, walk, run and jump. Having your internal and external organs functioning perfectly. You don't know the treasure you have

2. Family

When you wake, you have your loved ones no matter where they are in good condition, you have your parents in good state, it could be your spouse, your children or siblings. You have a people to lean on when in trouble and laugh together in victory. If you have these, you dont know how many people envy you quietly. Don't wait till you lose it before you realise

3. Peace of mind

Mental health, being emotionally and psychologically sound. Nothing beats these things. You aren't suffering any police case, you aren't a suspect of robbery, murder or fraud. Nobody is chasing your life. You are not running from bitter enemies. You not being set up. Not a victim of circumstances and disasters. Those suffering these abandon their dreams of chasing money to running to and fro the earth looking for peace.

Once again, I wish you a successful 2022, live the life and enjoy every moment.
And for those who might be suffering any of he above, I wish you a better year 2022, good health, peace of mind and a happy family plus more money.

Like the curious case of Benjamin button, each year will come and go, enjoy the moment, live a life you are proud of and if at any moment you aren't happy with the choices you made, I hope you have the strength to start all over again and stay happy.
Bro, all those things you metioned ar ebetter when you have money.Money gets you all of them

You didn't understand what i wrote. Your epistle is not needed. I am telling you from my own experience. Most of the things you read online about cooling will not be same for all countries. We are in a very hot region and connecting fan directly in Nigeria hardly affect some cars(mine and that of my friends). I use Mobil 1(5w 30) and Castrol (5w 30). How many common Fully synthetic oil in Nigeria is not 5w 30? How does the issue I shared relate to connecting fan directly? Did is say I drove the car with no issue? Or no sludge? It means you still don't understand cars after managing so many as you claimed. Everything I said here is from my own experience since 2013 and not google search.

No my epistle is need cos you lot think cos you own a car others treck, This is the ideology of the man on the street in 9ja so I got to set U straight.
You talking about 5w30 in Nigeria sold N18k for 5 litres and you think is genuine huh huh huh or you want to tell us that the 11 or two times you change your Oil in a year you spend N28k to buy oil?For me every time I go to 9ja I buy fluids frm the UK ship down to service all car.
You also talking of all region not being same in hot country blah bla bla, I have driven in the route 66 B4 from carli in the USA, go and check the temp o n average there, hotter than ABJ and cars are designed to drive in all weather.
And I did not google search not a car mechanic however as Fluid Engineer in the UK, I do know a thing or two about how fluids in car flow and circulate do not really need google claim your car stops in motion how do you know the ECU did not shut it down each time to prevent a castraphopic damage to the Engine?
