smalldivk111:You're robbing an antifungal cream on the surface when you're actually having a heavy infection in your blood? When we say , be careful, you guys would take a swipe at those sounding the warning. Good luck to you and if you're eventually diagnosed with that infection what scares people, which feeds on human immune system, you'd have to live with it and manage it till you grow old. It's better imagined than experienced. Maybe other some promiscuous guys and ladies would learn from this. |
OlawaleBammie:In US? Yes but it will require a lot of efforts. You're going in a B2 Visa, which is for visiting/tourism only. If your employer can do that for you, better for you but it won't be an easy task. You can get a job on a visit visa of course but what happens when your 6 months legal stay expires? I'd advise you apply as a student. It's easier for you to change your visa status after graduation and work while schooling too. Student visa's wait time is shorter, compared to visit visa. The earliest interview date for the visit visa is 2025 at the American consulate. I don't know of Canada |
OlawaleBammie:I never said or meant those who supported other candidates were poor. Don't get me wrong . It seems you didn't understand my stand point. All i was saying is, most of us( at least those that I know) who supported obi did so because of where most of us were coming from. We wanted same seen over there to be replicated here. For instance, electricity isn't a rocket science. See the way our government is playing us today? I have a manufacturer in Germany who generates electricity on their own in the remotest part of the country where they're located. They even sell to their government. It shouldn't be a problem at all. I'm also not saying Obi is a Saint. But at least, I was always visiting his state before, when he was governor and afterwords. If someone like him could do so much with the little the state had , he'd have done so much more if given the opportunity to access bigger resources. I'm yoruba and I live in lagos. I'm always proud of lagos not because tinubu once governed here. But because its a state to be reckoned with. I never knew we had so much money until ambode came and did wonders, even recording budget surplus after his government despite executing so much projects. The last time it happened was when pa jakande was governor and that was in the 80s. Ambode was punished for that cos he didn't allow anyone to steal. He used the funds for projects. He made sure everyome only had access to their salary as workers and nothing more. The development we see today isn't commensurate with our resources at all. If you've always been to lagos when Buba Marwa was governor, that's when you'd reason with me. He was another amazing leader. I can vote him if he shows interest anyday. That's by the way. I can only give you info about USA if you want to go there and school. I'm not so familiar with Canada's terrain. Getting jobs in the USA is also much more rewarding than in Canada. I wish you the very best on your choice of destination |
OlawaleBammie:When you called me Omo Peter obi, i responded cheerfully. The majority of us who supported Obi weren't from his tribe. We're also not poor. We just wanted good governance cos of what we had seen where we once lived and places were had been. I don't want to talk politics for now. I pray for a truly progressive Nigeria. I was happy when I read of MC Oluomo's son graduate from MIT. But, those following him and defending his stance in the last election are in abject poverty. Its not right. Nobody should be treated as a slave by these so called leaders. This angers me a lot. We all have one life. It should be lived well. You can ask your question |
OlawaleBammie:Upstate, NY. |
JohnBullMySon:Now, let me explain to you, the lay man way... Hallucination, loss of consciousness and comma are not related to the story I narrated. If you're harlucinating, you begin to say different incoherent things but while you're still alive. When in coma, you lose consciousness and memory but you'd still have pulse. With the pulse, you still have some chance of survival even though its like 50/50 cos, yur brain is as good as dead. If you fainted or suffered a severe malaria or any illness for that matter, you could suddenly collapse and lose consciousness, you don't remember anything again until you're resuscitated, but you're not dead. When you're awake, you begin to ask what happened and you'd only remember the events of the last moment cos your brain is still active. You could also hallucinate and by the time you fully recover, you don't remember anything again. If they told you all that you said, you'd be wondering...so you mean all these happened? But then, you're not dead. Nome of the above was related to my friend's experience. When his spirit left his body according to him, he knew and saw it. All that happened thereafter, despite the fact that he had become irresponsive in that realm, he still recalled when he came back. When you're in coma, you are almost non-existent and if you're lucky to come back, you don't remember your own name, let alone being in any realm cos brain is half dead. Hope you understand now. A patient was brought to UCH in 2015 from the scene of a fatal accident by the road safety personnel. It went viral nationwide for those who remembered. Nobody survived except this young man. When he became ok after being transferred from the A&E to the wards. He narrated all that happened, that suddenly he heard gboaaaah and that was all he could remember. He said he saw his spirit leave him and stayed aloof by the roadside while his body was just there helpless. He said suddenly, his spirit went back to the body. Those who never survived could have experienced same but they never came back. What if the man's spirit had refused to enter that body back? He would have gone from there too. To where? Only God would determine that with his handiwork while on earth. He was also hallucinating for a couple of weeks, but was alive with his eyes wide open. His brain was slightly affected. Luckily, the CT taken showed his brain was intact only a slight injury to his head and a deep cut into his eye socket. One of the eyeballs came out completely. All was restored. This man's experience marched your narrative, which was quite different from that of my friend who was already dead according to eye witnesses but came back to life. The bottom line is, there's heaven contrary to what Arnold had ignorantly posited. |
JohnBullMySon:See the gibberish you just type. I'm a medical personnel. You're very wrong. If you went into comma and you per chance came back to life, you can never remember anything that moment, unlike my friend. You'd need a long time of care before you can begin to remember your own name, family et al, not what happened while in coma |
OlawaleBammie:I dey oo. Politics is over now. Those enjoying will keep enjoying while those suffering will continue to suffer. I've shouted enough. Where will I japa go now...where I schooled and came back from, to establish myself? I can only go on business vacation like I've always been doing for over a decade now. How are you by the way? |
hopefulLandlord:Did your spirt leave your body? Cos he actually said he saw himself leave his body. That was the first thing that happened before he found himself in that place. Those trying to rescue him also said he's gone.He wasn't breathing anymore. I'm not sure it was same experience as yours as you explained it. If you know oworonshoki in lagos very well, it's like the new lagos ibadan highway or Benin ore rd where vehicles speed uncontrollably |
blueAgent:He's a believer and someone I trust so much. He's my childhood friend who never cared about life and living . The experience changed him completely. Who knows...had he crossed that point, he wouldn't have come back. That would have been the end of him. Someone like me would have forgotten about him by now. It's been over 25 years already. It's very rare to experience such and the person would still come back. This word called heaven is a mystery. We can't really tell how it looks like. But it's super real. |
Enemyofpeace:That's the truth. God is my witness |
PoliteActivist:It's not dream. He passed out, not breathing again. Do you pass out when you dream? Continue to confuse yourself |
Soulsymbol99:I don't think so. She's looking for peace of mind. She's not poor. Their major problems is inability to manage fame or money when it comes. They think they can achieve anything without their husband's input whereas, money can't buy that marriage bond. Once it's broken, it takes the grace of God to have it mended. There are many of them out there , spread across many professions that I know...in banking, insurance, politics, manufacturing, Healthcare...I know a lady, a medical Dr. in her mid 50s who's still single after she divorced her husband years back. She lives alone in regrets. All those men whom she always flocked around and consoled herself with are no more there while some are now too old to match her status. She's a rich lady. |
Sermwell:No but a friend of mine once experienced it. Read my modified post |
Has he been there before? Or has he died before? Many of the adorun motitos( those who would only know the truth after they're dead) will have moments of regrets in the afterlife. Heaven is super real. I have a friend whose story I had shared here before. He's still alive till today. His name is Kunle Ajibola. That's his real name. He was crossing oworo express in the 90s and got hit by a car. The driver zoomed off. The force of collision pushed him away from the highway to the roadside. The guys playing football under the oworo bridge quickly picked him and dragged his body aside. That moment, my friend had left. He said he found himself in the midst of amazing flowers and everywhere was so quiet. He said people, both young and old from different races were just trooping out from left, right and centre. No single noise was heard and everyone was going their own way. He said he couldn't explain the coolness of the environment as he had never experienced such before. Suddenly he got to a point where he wasn't sure how to proceed, maybe to turn left or turn right. As he was contemplating, he said he saw an image like that of a human being with white apparel, very tall...and he couldn't see his face due to his height. He asked him, young man where are you going and he responded, he saw people going in different directions so he too followed this path. The man said, he wasn't supposed to cross that spot now, that he should go back to where he was coming from. He said he should look back and that moment, the first thing he felt was unexplainable pain all over his body and people who had surrounded his body at oworo said oooh, he's back, he's back. They had been fanning, shouting pouring water on him. There was one man who stopped his car and called on the first Atlantic bank's ambulance stationed at the entry point of 3rd mainland bridge, those who were around that time would remember the 1st Atlantic Bank ambulance point around that place. The ambulance took him to gbagada general hospital where he was treated. This man paid all his medical bills. From that time, my friend had given his life to Christ. He's been a member of Deeper Life since that time. I'm not preaching church pls. I'm not a member of his church, just explaining. Amazingly, if he walks , you'd never notice he had an accident before. He recovered fully. Heaven is real. This isn't a fairytale |
But they said NLC and TUC were working for Obi? Why did they suspended the strike if the claim was true? |
MrCGPA:The nasarawa own too dey obvious. I hope the pdp guy is not taking it low. He needs to claim his mandate. |
They'd still defend this...that's just a new style ![]() |
LagosFirstSon:SAN isn't for small boys. Keyamo is really abusing that privilege |
Hope they won't say they're working for Obi too, as if those defending the clueless government buy fuel at the old price. Jonathan's cluelesness will be a childsplay |
Wealthoptulent:We have been on strike before declaration of the subsidy removal. Stop being emotional over everything. |
complexstuffs:Now you sound like a teen. Where does Salisu Buhari, the Toronto man hail from? Those vices you mentioned above are a commonplace in the north and am sure you know it. Go and read your books . Run along jor. |
Exactly. When I said Tinubu was going to favour the rich, some didn't get it. People should go and see how much Otedola is woth as of this morning. No single cent of that billions would drop inside your pocket. I was shocked. Amazingly, some of the marketers are still selling their old stocks in their various tank farms as we speak at the new pump price. |
complexstuffs:You are pained I guess . I'm not surprised. I knew you'd respond this way cos it's in your blood. You guys don't read yet, you want to be the best. Only in Nigeria will that happen cos of the bad system in place. Tell your people to invest in their children's education instead of populating their houses with women who often produce children who are roaming the streets begging alms. Success doesn't come easy. Have you wondered why the north is the global headquarters of poverty and out of school children? Deal with that ok? It's a reality. |
complexstuffs:Well, I'm Yorubaman, original. I don't know which part of the south you were referring to. The only man, whom I have never doffed my cap for, is the one you and my gullible fellows voted for as president. I've never been his fan. All my aunts attended the same Children Homes School which he claimed to have attended in Ibadan. His name was never found there. Even Chicago Uni once disowned him. Concerning whether northern students were considered for the Microsoft competition or not. This wasn't a selective competition. One of the those picked schooled in Abuja where you find mainly the Children of northern elites, schooling. Oyinbos don't work with emotions or sentiments. If you merit it, you'd be selected in any contest and that's why they keep progressing. The reverse is the case here. My brother inlaw participated in the NPA employment test some.years back. He was selected on merit. But by the time the interview was scheduled, they had replaced him with a northern guy who never participated in the exam. As if that wasn't enough. In 2021 I went on an inspection mission to port harcourt. I was to go by air but my flight was cancelled so I decided to book liberal motors in Lagos. Inside the bus was a young ekiti man, who was a corps member serving in port harcourt. His seat was next to mine. In the course of our discussion, he told me he came for his interview for an employment into the NCS. He said he didn't want to attend because of what they did to him the first time. He participated in the aptitude test where he did very well and his name was posted. He also received a text message to that effect. What happened? His name was replaced with that of a man from Nasarawa state. He was angry. He got to know when reading a newspaper in which the names were published for a selection interview. His exam and registration numbers were same but his name had been replaced. Some people said he should engage a lawyer but he called one oga whom he met during their exam. The man investigated, only to find out that one northern retired general was behind it. He urged him to reapply which he did and passed the test again. It was the interview he came to attend from Port. We met on his way back inside that bus. Those are few impunity at play. There are a lot more which I don't know about. Why was I selected by the organisation in the USA? It was the government of Benin Republic who even nominated me. My company went there and donated equipment free of charge to their PHCs. We did same in Nigeria. Some were even asking us to make money from it here but i refused. I travelled to Benin Republic years back and I saw the state of their primary health centres. I visited 2 of them and i said to myself I'd do something. My cousin once attended the Nigeria aviation school in Kaduna. They admit only 25 students from all over the country every 3 years or so. On the day of resumption, he saw 2 guys from the north who never took the part in the tough selection exam. They came to join them. Imagine. This has been ongoing for decades. Nigeria can't move forward this way. |
lhordspy:But when the news from SR favours your cronies, you waka pass abi? ![]() |
ODUBEZE:Before nko. Thank God this is merit-based. They'd have flooded the list with their children as usual. I remember when I was the only one invited from the whole of Nigeria and Sub-saharan Aftica some years back by an organisation in Washington DC. Barack Obama was the one invited to give us a pep talk inside the Daughters of American Revolution Hall, near the White House in the gathering of close to 2,000 selected from across the globe. These guys are the ones dragging Nigeria backward. Like I've always said, we will still break away from this union.someday. oduduwa country will be birthed someday, even in our generation. Other tribes too will leave |
Disney world is a place to be. They just want to pamper these future techs with efeezy . That's a reward of hard work. Good luck kids |
Fleshy Lust has brought down another set of stars. They won't allow themselves to be brought down by fame, money, materialism...but fleshy lust. Wow! |
You knew you forged a certificate but still went ahead and contested for a public office. These people get mind oo..definitely, he must have been learning from one controversial politician who's a major political figure today, not knowing he's very smart in his game. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:If Nigerians could not trust the then government for removing fuel subsidy when they were paying it in billions, how do you think the same Nigerians would trust this government who once told us subsidy was a scam but later continued where Jonathan had stop in the payment of subsidy after they told us they weren't paying subsidy? How can Nigerians now trust them after claiming they've paid trillions of naira between 2015 and now? I could remember back then, Jonathan didn't just wake up overnight and removed subsidy. There was already a palliative measure in place. I remembered the Sure-P, just in case you've suddenly forgotten. This cut across the country back then on transport Healthcare and empowerment. What do we have under the most critic of that time now president? He removed subsidy only to plan for palliative measures later. Go to channelstv archives and play the video of Osho Baba's tonight interview with Seun. I pray we don't say Buhari's government was better. |
seanfer:The masses ,.of course. 30k minimum wage is worthless under the current subsidy regime. Stop politicising this. |
