They should come and share it in Alimosho. Owo wo gbo niyę .We're not voting sanwoolu |
OlawaleBammie:On the respect side, you are right but when it comes to politics, leave matters. It's a dirty game. Some of us called obi unprintable names too. I used vp Osinbajo as an example too but you kept quiet over that. Abi kii she ara wa mo? Tinubu's supporters did this to him. Even one of the ardent supporters of Tinubu on NL insulted pa Ayo Adebanjo, someone who's old enough to be his great grandad. We couid also say, he has insured the entire tribe of yoruba because that man holds a key position in a traditional organisation in Yorubaland...a yoruba guy insultng a yoruba elder. What do youncall that? Calling Pa Adebanjo unprintable names just because he's not in support of Tinubu's ambition. Leave everyone who chooses their respective candidates alone just the way you should be left alone and allowed to support and vote your candidate. That's the beauty of democracy. Its all about choices. I was in America when trump was campaigning. The Democrats supporters wore a manikin of him openly, in which trump was naked. They were mocking him. That's politics for you. For me, I'm not voting sanwoolu come Saturday and I have my reasons. Here in Alimosho, he did nothing. All the delegates who were supposed to vote ambode at the venue of the primaries were turned back. They said they can't enter and the order was from above. In the end, ambode lost. Alimosho delegates votes would have saved him. We're the largest LG in Nigeria by population. I was just laughing at some posts here on NL after Alimosho gave their votes to LP. Those spewing those trash didn't seem to understand what played out. They said it was ibos who won Alimosho for LP. Alimosho is predominantly yorubas with merely 10% igbo population. Can 10% of these people win an election for LP in Alimosho? Answer that yourself. What of Shomolu, kosofe? These are yoruba dominated areas. Those fighting Gbadebo should have a rethink. His mum is igbo and so? The retired judge who's his cousin and from Lagos is a son of an itshekiri woman. He had a traditional name added to his too. Why didn't they attack him? We know it's all about politics. Name-calling is part of politics. If you don't want this to happen to you, don't join politics. Even Obi, who happens to be the cleanest among them was called unprintable names.. |
Haha. OK naw |
I reserve my comment. I foresee protest after the shocking event that will take place on or before May 29th. |
Useless people. They should come to Alimosho where nobody says good of sanwoolu and spew that trash. Expect another shock, come Saturday. Ibos didn't shock tinubu in Alimosho, we did. |
OlawaleBammie:If you're referring to the tweet where he's mocking tinubu with a goat wearing Tinubu's cap, you're just quoting him out of context, how does that relate to calling yoruba afonja? Did he say yorubas are afonja? Have tinubu's supporters not called Osinbajo, the VP worst names, just because he came out to run? It's all political propaganda. Just vote sanwoolu ok? I'm voting GRV. |
Oghodua:You no wan buy with dollar nii ![]() |
OlawaleBammie:It's doctored, not real |
I always love going to Benin..I remember the Obama beach, festival des glases amd hotel du lak. Nice places. |
None is easy .But with God, all is easy |
Drop her immediately. I married in a room apartment with the kitchen separated from the main room. My wife encouraged me instead of complaining sef. Today, we thank God for all He's done. |
OfeAchi:Which LG are you? He did nothing in Alimosho |
sat70:Sanwoolu did nothing in my LG, Alimosho |
Lol. Fall for for their crocodile tears and get whipped the second time . This election has taught many a lesson. |
Dear fellow Lagosians, as the governorship election draws closer, why do you think the incumbent should be re-elected in your LGA as some of us are undecided. Kindly be civil in your response. For me, I'm from Alimosho and what I've been hearing about Sanwoolu hasn't been a palatable one. They say he didn't do a single project in 4 years, compared to Ambode who constructed 65 roads in Less than 4 years in Alimosho alone. A delegate who happens to be my fellow resident in an estate in Alimosho said, his grouse with Sanwoolu stems from the manner him and colleagues were treated during the primaries that brought in Sanwoolu. He said they knew they were going to vote in favour of Ambode, given what he did in Alimosho but on getting g to the venue, they were prevented from entering and when they asked why, they told them it was an instruction from the above. To those who thought ibos voted LP on the 25th in Alimosho where APC lost, you're making a great mistake cos igbos population isn't up to 10% in Alimosho, the LG with the largest population in Nigeria who are mainly yorubas. You can only find a few of them around ęgbęda and about. Please share your thoughts on why Sanwoolu should be reelected in your LG snd tell us whst he did to deserve a reelection. Eko o ni baję |
seeme2:Dey deceive yourself with a doctored tweet that has gone viral. It won't change anything. We know Gbadebo's lineage, schools attended, family in Lagos, one of them recently retired as a judge. If you knew the judge's grandma is itshekiri, you fit call am names too. We don't know that of jagaban. Chinedu or not, his father is lagosian and he claims lagos. You can give your vote to sanwoolu, ko gba agidi rara. As we delivered in Alimosho on the 25th, so will we deliver same Alimosho where sanwoolu didn't do a single project in 4 years for LP come Saturday. |
Goodmarlian:impossible! How can he marginalise his home from his home? Only tinubu does that. We promised delivering lagos for LP and we fulfilled it. Saturday again, we will do same in Alimosho. |
Barbaric |
God bless you, guy |
No doubt. We need each other to survive. Only poor people fight over tribalism. You won't see successful people wherever they throw punches. |
KingDamzzy:Only biased LP supporters would believe INEC. |
Someone who did nothing in Alimosho, mtcheew. Ambode will be remembered for this in my LG |
Oghodua:OK then. Soyinka is older than him. Grab a copy of his book entitled "My Watch". You'd know he's older than that age with all his explanations in that book. |
Hbd ebora owu. Continue to age gracefully sir. But baba is in his 90s oo. Ask Prof Soyinka who is about clocking 89, he'd tell you more ![]() |
vicdom:I agree with you, especially with that ADC guy in the race who is SIA's loyalist. Adebutu pulls massive crowd. Dapo has tried. I've seen what he did in Ogun. I wish all candidates good luck. |
Triangles1:Nobody can claim Lagos. It's impossible so, rest. Forget all the noise upandan that igbos voted out tinubu in Lagos out of hate. Go to all the places dominated by igbos. Yorubas still won House of assembly seats. They all voted them even in places where they dominate else, yorubas wouldn't have taken those positions. Chief Sunny Ade's son is one of them. Stop the tribal speech. We're educated people. Don't join hands in preaching hate. Ask tinubu himself, he'd tell you he had friends among ibos and they've done him one good or the other in the past. It's the masses who fight over tribalism. I remember the day God is Good Motors founder's wife died. Apart from Gov sanwoolu's condolence message, he appeared in person. I saw him there. Fight for your future and that of your children, not over tribalism which takes you nowhere. I've benefited from igbos, hausa , edo, urhobo, Efik, ibibio, etc in the past mouch more than I have, from my people. They've also benefited from me. I'm presenting a 1.6m naira worth of gift to an igbo woman in imo state as I speak. She's been catalyst to a business success in our company too in 2018. That's it. Truth be told, each tribe has their comparative advantage. If you studied economics, you'd understand better. Just like you and I, igbos too are at liberty to vote whoever they like. That's why it's called democracy and not autocracy. You can't compel a particular tribe to vote your candidate , its not democracy anymore if you do so. It's all about choices. For example, I've voted both Muslim and Christian, hausa, yoruba and igbo since 1999, including buhari whose administration is winding down as we speak. I'm Christian, mind you. That's how it should be. On the 25th Feb, I voted Obi in Alimosho. Alimosho had less than 5% of igbos resident in lagos. Would you now say its igbo who came to Alimosho to vote LP? So ,if Alimosho votes same way this Saturday, would you now say igbos did so? Haba! We're not good at what ibos are good at and they too can't beat us in the areas where we have comparative advantage over them and that's why we need each other to succeed. Let that sink please. Na poor people dey fight over tribalism. |
Carthaporo:Thank you very much. God bless Nigeria. Have a wonderful week ahead |
Raycelove:Nice. But speaking in tongue isn't necessary if you're not gifted by the Holy Spirit. Remember what happened in the upper room to the disciples? Their tongue was touched and they began speaking in tongue (different languages) after the fire of the Holy Ghost fell on them and being in one accord...this is an important point to note. Speaking in tongue had been grossly abused by many Christians today. Many don't even know what they're saying...whether they're even cursing themselves or not, they don't know. It's not something anyone can fake. If you're not endowed with it, pray in your mother tongue which you understand. God who created every language will still understand and answer. There was a day I was praying. I was deep in prayers and all of a sudden, my tongue was twisted and I began speaking in tongues. I forced myself to stop and that ceased. The moment I got to another deep realm, my tongue became twisted again and I continued. At first I was afraid cos it was strange to me. It's only the Holy Spirit that can make it happen. When you see someone praying in most cases as seen today, before you know it he/she has started saying shekeri bobobobo. May God continue to lead us in the right direction . Happy Sunday and God bless |
They're both incomparable. Infact, directly opposite each other. I voted in that election for MKO. it was the the fairest election in Africa's history, unlike this one in which a candidate was slapped in the face on a broad day light. MKO won the entire SW including Lagos, he won massively in the north, including in Kano, even in Tofa's PU and LG( this was before Kano state was split as a result of state creation). I read a few minutes ago here on NL in which an APC spokesman in Rivers openly said Obi won rivers but another result was announced...he's an apc spokesman and not that of PDP or LP . A few of them who had conscience are already coming out to say the truth. MKO didn't bribe any delegates to win primary. Atiku has been known for this for ages. When Atiku remained in the race alongside MKO, he began to lobby northern caucus in Jos, enticing them with money but they openly told him, MKO stood a better chance. The latter didn't spend a dime to secure his victory at the primaries and in the general elections, unlike Emilokan who bribed his way through. I'm glad Atiku lost in this election. It's the south's turn but not someone like Tinubu. We had much better candidates even in Yorubaland. If he's so popular and loved like MKO, why did he lose lagos? Even in the SE that time, MKO won some and secured over 35% in others despite the fact that their Son was also in the race. Did it happen this time, with Obi taking everything? I leave those who have conscience to answer that question. Why didn't he win Osun, if he's so loved and popular? Why lobby Makinde to deliver oyo for him if he's so loved and popular? I pity that guy. If care isn't taken, he'd regret his action come Saturday with all I've been hearing from the apc's camp in the state. I was in ekiti earlier in the week. Some people were jubilating after receiving the 5k alert, which the governor promised them before election, should they vote apc. This didn't happen when mko was running. Nobody gave me one kobo before I voted him. If the 1993 election could be annulled, despite being so free, fair and transparent, the recently concluded election which was marred with daylight fraud won't see the light of the day. Don't attack now if you differ, do so after May 29th. |
mrrandomguy:For this reason, I won't vote sanwoolu again. I just decided yesterday but I'm changing my mind tonight. I once preferred Jandor but made a you-turn after he went and picked Funke. Sadly, those people you're preaching tribalism on their behalf don't give a hoot about your existence. They have friends across tribal and ethic lines. Maybe one day, won maa pa itan fun omo akeredolu too, that his mum is ibo from Imo State. Iranu. For a singular reason of drug abuse and his rehabilitation experience, I'd never have thought of voting sanwoolu in this elecrion. |
scholarsfunding:Don't let me tell you what urchins won't like to hear. Wait until May 29th |
takin35:5.8m? Omg! Dem don spoil naija finish. Our naira is so worthless. We never see anything yet |
