AmotekunSW:Say this in Alimosho and get an instant reaction. Go with police oo. Imoran agba cos you'd not like your face when you look at the mirror |
Don't mind them. Awon eru jagaband |
solid3:All I can say is, thanks to Seun Osewa for his Nairaland Ideas. It's has been able to help so many people, including me in one way or the other. Amazingly, not many people have been asked to appreciate this guy since I've joined NL and been reading people's comments. I commend your effort Seun. From start to finish, all the workers I engaged were sourced from NL. They're professional to the core. Mine was 5 bedroom with a BQ at the back, state of the art. Nigerians are so talented. I wouldn't say how much it cost me but it took me 2 years plus to finish it. I was just taking my time. A plot of land cost me 20m. The art work was superb and my living room is like a recording studio. I adorned it with artwork including my TV board. My advice...pls don't engage Nigerians for your POP. Engage togolese or benennois if you can reach them. Most of our people who claim to be pop experts do use them as workers after collecting the job. When it comes to neatness and straight edges with state of the art designs, give it to them, same as your window recess and art work. A friend of mine working in the oil company didn't hesitate to ask for the numbers of those who worked on my site in a hurry when he saw what they did during his visit. Masons were so good, from Ibadan. My parapets are wonderful, 2 layers with the water collector covering the 3rd one slightly. My carpenter is superb. If you look at my gerard roof, you'd not see any bent portion...very straight and that's as a result of good carpentry job. We got our woods for carcas from the Ikirun forest in Osun. The carpenter went there himself spending 5 days. He's from that side too. My architect is a member of NL too, a fresh graduate that time whose mouth wasn't too wide. I got his contact from this amazing forum. Thanks once again Seun. You deserve a gift from me . You saved me a lot |
The unusual calm in the Tinubu's camp is unprecedented..they're known for noisemaking. The whole world would soon know why |
Purposeciti:Yes oo. Just find time and come over this weekend, interview people. You'd concur |
Hope it's not what I'm thinking...the integrated Paki and Arab people |
Story. He did nothing in my LG, Alimosho. |
oikirodah:Your boss likes making unnecessary noise. Haba. |
KanwuliaExtra:what do you expect? Alpha beta had been sacked from Osun so no more Tinubu's enslavement. That man wicked pas devil |
It's because you want to feel so, OP. Be contented with what you have. Just wait and see their ending. Go and ask those who have been there for 10-15 years doing legit jobs. |
Thanks HE, Peter Obi. Lagos will be free soon |
I was busy looking for Rwanda and i wasn't disappointed when I saw it as number 3 on the list . Some loudspeakers on NL really need to pay a visit to some African countries. They'd return home feeling sad. Nigeria is a rich state, no doubt but corruption and tribalism are setting us back. A project which shouldn't cost more than 1m usd to complete would be inflated 3 times. If not ambode, many roads which had been completed on paper at alausa with money fully paid wouldn't have been remembered. We really miss him. He employed capable hands to do those roads at the right contract price and they remain solid as ever. When some ignorant people kept attacking igbos wrongly for delivering Lagos for LP, it was because they didn't come to Alimosho where this administration received the lowest approval rating in history. Less than 10% of igbos live amongst us. Just visit ordinary Benin Republic, you'd think you're in Paris if you visit some places there. I've been there so i know. |
Danisaint112:He did well nibo? Come to Alimosho and ask people. He did nothing here. God bless Ambode |
TMSMedia:Lagos State Govt is culpable. Even if the NRC staff who are supposed to man the intersection refused to report to work, why not install traffic lights at the various intersection to save your own people? Afi ariwo heee, bii loudspeaker that the puppet is known for Secondly, employment into public offices in Lagos is done on a man-know-man basis, instead of merit-based. Just obtain a letter from one baalę or a political figure and you have the job. Those BRT drivers are reformed moluę drivers mainly recruited with the aid of the oluomo boys who broke away from the NURTW. People should just take a look at those buses when ambode brought them in and how their looks are now...in barely 4 years. Most of the used luxury buses plying mainland-island routes, owned by individuals were transport buses abroad for many years before they were sent to Africa . Had they employed drivers on merit, the buses would have been well maintained, drivers too would have acted professionally. I remember that foolish brt driver who killed that pretty girl he picked at lekki that night and dumped her body by the roadside. See what another brt driver had done today Quackery wouldn't have a place in employment meant for professionals anymore. A new, people-friendly government is coming. Ara eko, ę lo fokan balę |
Divoc19:Work hard and pray. It's possible |
9jaRealist:Did I say it would come in contact in to car traffic? Read my message again and where i faulted them for lack of sensitisation. Lagodians are so stubborn. By the time they scale the barbed fence and attempt to cross the barricaded track to the other side or defecate along the track, you and I won't be there. See all the pedestrian bridges in lagos, some are even nearby yet, they don't climb it. A peoples oriented government, having known the make up of their people, ought to have commenced on massive sensitisation by now about the literail and dangers inherent in crossing the tracks, just like when they're pasting posters during elections in every nook and cranny of the state but they won't do that, until the unexpected happen. |
ekolobaba:So, okutepa too is igbo? Tribalism ti yi ę lori. Smh |
What could've been prevented. Its well |
Nonsense. Both state and federal government should be sued for negligence but I doubt that would ever happen. You failed to provide all the necessary precautions in place hence , the sad occurrence. There are people on the NRC steady payrolls who are supposed to man those intersection but refused to report there. Lagos State government as a means of protecting her people was supposed to have installed traffic light at those locations. They think the fast speed train is yam abi? They'd be busy packing fried humans along the track everyday if cafe isn't taken with their negligence by the time the literail commences operation. No sensitization, nothing as we speak. They always want to copy the west but upside down. Over there, their government care about their people by putting those infrastructure in place. But here, the reverse is the case. They'd rather milk their people dry at the slightest opportunity. |
drimzsmoke:LASG, through LASMOH owns LASUTH and coordinates the affairs of the LASUTH mgt. The system faired better when Dr Jide Idris was health commissioner |
drimzsmoke:How can you compare OOUTH ER with lagos ER? Dr Fatungase, the ag CMD sef no fit. If OOUTH could grab half if what goes into lasuth as allocation, they'd use it to do wonders. |
jokky44:Begibegi. Go and rest. You don try |
Then, we need a rerun. Anything less doesn't make sense |
nedekid:I know lasuth than you may think. LASUCOM is a glorified health facility. I'm a health worker. I visit ayinke House always. The yearly allocation isn't commensurate with what's on ground. Even the extension being constructed had gulped a lot of money with nothing to show. |
Totilopussylick:That's a teaching hospital which gulps billions of naira of tax payers money annually in budget. Its not a primary health centre . Its a shameful scene |
Ablemed:See you. This isn't a mass emergency or pandemic where hospitals would run out of bed space. When God wants expose you for lying to those youre supposed to serve, some things would happen in unexplainable and odd ways. No hospital in Lagos is well equipped. I'm in that sector so I know. This is a tertiary institution( teaching hospital) and not a maternity or PHC for God's sake. Stop defending the indefensible |
Goodmarlian:GRV family is rich |
juman:Why blame only the driver. Are there no workers employed to man those train intersection, to flag down or halt vehicular movement as train approaches? Overseas, traffic light does this job for man. Why hasn't lagos state government installed them there? Must they only be concerned about how much they can make from lagosians? Their lives don't matter to these people, just to collect money. That's what we've been talking about. We don't have a givernment who cares yet, na only noise Mr governor sabi make. The akere market that was set ablaze, the same government was alerted when those boys said they were going to come. The police was also alerted 2 times yet, they didn't do anything, because they don't care. Let it be something that makes money for them, you'd see them manning armoured tank, calling military to invade and kill people at sight , just the way it happened in lekki at the toll gate in oct 2020. We're wiser now. We need a governor who truly cares. |
Safety in this country is something else. Noisemakers won't learn. The electrified train would record worse casualties in history if care isn't taken. There are people paid to man those train intersection but you'd never see them there yet, they earn salary. They employ people on a man-no-man basis, no merits. No wonder that brt driver turned human flesh hunter. I doubt if the case involving the brt driver who killed that innocent girl hasn't been halted. We live in a state where monetary gains are rated above human life. Even inside the brt buses, there's no single AED there in case someone collapses. This is worrisome |
You should have postponed presidential election instead and avoided that deliberately orchestrated show of shame |
FreeStuffsNG:Which yorubas again? Come to Alimosho and hear what people are saying, maybe you'd take some rest. Over 90% of us are yorubas so, I don't know where else you're expecting me to go tell Yoruba. We have the largest population of Yorubas in the entire lagos state and the south west. Alimosho is also the most populous LG in Nigeria. We didn't vote APC on the 25th and we still won't, come Saturday. Ibos you're having sleepless nights over are just about 10% here. Saturday ti de tan. Enough said |
