You can imagine a northern Muslim holding the finance position, that shows Peter obi is truly a neutral and detribalized Nigerian. He doesn't want to show interest in how they spend campaign funds.
BTW. Shettima and his fellow boko boys have nearly eliminated Christians in borno. Many still don't believe there are Christians who are indigenes of borno till date. The popular Barr Bwala who left the apc for the pdp and Atiku's spokesman is an indigene of borno from the Christian side. See this man too heading a key position from same borno, a Christian. Religious tolerance is needed to move Nigeria forward. Chibok are predominantly Christians but boko haram created by Shetima had reduced them to size. Tinubu don win finish nah!
Thinkam: Igbos have become smarter investors, reason no Igbo leaders are pushing for Obi, once bitten twice shy, Jonathan was one risk too many, Obi even has far worse prospects than Jonathan had in 2014..
It's obvious, Obi will drop out of the race latest December
Atiku is coming
Crap as usual. The truth is obi isn't the one sponsoring this campaign but Nigerians, the masses that cut across ethnic and religous lines. See a sokoto man erecting big billboards for a southern Christian called Peter obi. 2 days ago, 1k challenge was launched by us obidients and in less than 24 hours, over 10m naira was raised That's what we're saying
There's nothing really special about Malaysia. They used to be poorer than Nigeria. The moment they got leadership right, things began to change for the better. They used to be the poorest of all asians. Next year is around the corner. Vote wisely
You dey mind Emilokan and his urchins? Even atiku that embarrassed northerners that only an infinitesimal percentage of them are on social media has eaten his vomit. Did you see their tweets recently about whom to vote in the north? They have a special handle on legit.com where they air their opinions too. Atiku and tinubu belong to the old generation where people would be patronising vendors for newspapers. They also believe only the highest spender wins elections. Those are old tales guy. People are wiser now.
I was shocked yesterday to learn that 10m naira was raised in less than 24 hours just in one bank on the 1k challenge. Guess what? The money was donated mostly by the villagers in hard to reach places, those who need money to feed. That's the difference.
Fragility6: U sha know if Ukraine try am, the war escalates further?
Ukraine had suffered enough. Afterall, the latter keeps pulling them back. Their recent victory in the Russian occupied region is a proof. Putin should engage USA or Japan, if they're truly powerful, not a hepless country like Ukraine.
In 1966,General Gowon released Obafemi Awolowo from prison!!! Col. Murtala Mohammed drove him straight to meet Gowon at the Government House.
When u see this video very well, u will see d banner done by Bola Tinubu’s Mother Abibatu Mogaji to welcome Awolowo! Like mother like Son pic.twitter.com/MVfX73isQo
Alhaja didn't have a biological son. Yekini Amoda Ogunlere was her adopted son, renamed Bola and surnamed Tinubu, the ancestral family name of alhaja mogaji. Mama didn't want the family name Tinubu to die because she didn't have a son to give that name.
How do you want to mobilize people to work effectively when you can’t dole out cash!
Mobilize them on empty belly and see them being bought over on election day.
Some would even get threats and abscond from polling unit!
You meant the way apc spent billions in osun and still lost despite being a ruling party at the state and federal? I remember the apc politician whose house and cars were destroyed after election in osun cos he failed to settle them? Google is your friend. The era of money politics is over. People don get our politicians. Did you hear of the Obidients 2k challenge launched a few days back? Its same local people on empty belly who joyfully raised the money. In less than 24hrs, over 10m naira was raised. Google is your friend. Now, tell me...how much do you think yiu can give to those who willingly donate so their candidate can win?
ScamHunter: As 2023 is fast approaching, I decided to move into some very remote villages to sample opinions of rural dwellers. What I discovered may shock you.
Unless the Obidient movement moves into the rural areas and hinterlands where all the people know are APC and PDP, it'll be a tough call for Obi.
Most Nigerian rural dwellers actually are excited about elections. Not because they anticipate voting in their leaders but because it a season of free money for them. Guess how much they make from elections? I asked a few people and what they get from politicians range from 500 naira to 4000 naira. These are people with families who probably struggle to see 40-50,000 at once. So free money, even 4k is a big deal to them.
Whether in the East, West, North or South, the story is the same. When PDP and APC talk about structure, that's exactly what they mean. They have people in the rural areas who are conduits for monetary inducement to sway the outcome of elections to their favour. So a politician could actually earmark 10 million for a LG in order to buy 20,000 votes with each voter getting a paltry 2000 naira while the party men and supporters share the balance. Talk about the power of money in the midst of poverty. Nearly every village has a party man. Some have 3 to 4 party men and women from different parties who work as sleeper members that are activated with raw cash when elections are imminent.
One lady told me that she is not a party member but her friends invite her to join them when it's time to go and collect money. According to her, she sometimes collects from more than one party. Her husband also tries collecting from more than a party. She said that during the last election, she escorted her party member friend one early morning to collect money for distribution to the voters in the village. Interestingly, she said she is not keen on such again because of the sort of people and arms she saw at the place where they went to get the money. When I asked her how much her party member friend gave her for the risk? 2000 naira. Not even up the 4k the high rollers get.
In these rural areas, the Labour party is barely known. This is where the Obidients have their jobs cut for them. The good news is that the election is coming after the end of the year holidays. So it is time to reach out to relatives in the rural areas and educate them on the need to end the election business as usual. I tried educating some of these people on the need to elect credible people and not just vote those that give them money. Imagine selling tomorrow for 2k.
I don't really know if the urban dwellers and youths are enough to turn the tide in Obi's favour, but there are so much prospects of sweeping rural votes if the movement goes to the hinterlands. All these people need is voter education and some form of encouragement that with a leader like Obi, the country would actually make remarkable progress.
I think all the Obi support groups should start mapping out all the rural communities for massive outreaches. It should be a strategy of telling someone to tell someone who would also tell someone about Obi and what his leadership portends for the country. In any case, even if Obi is already sure of winning, why not make sure he wins convincingly? Who says that with the rural population on board, that a landslide victory isn't possible for the Labour Party?

Thanks for your advice. Sincerely, obi's name can't be heard in all the geopolitical zones, likewise tinubu, Atiku and others . Every candidate has their strongholds and we know who has the best strongholds. I wouldn't know where you went to conduct your polls. If you go to the south east, south south and north central, you'd hear Obi's name louder and very loud in the south west and kaduna. Obi only needs 25% in a few core northern states to make up the required two-third. Go to any of the villages in those places mentioned, Obi's name is a family name. Amazingly, they're the ones campaigning for him with their own money.
Difrent: Na so una start the Jubril el sudani matter so tay even normally rational humans nearly got fooled..... But trying to make this stick will be a Herculean task. The picture above isnt that of Donald Duke...
He's talking about the one on the left. Wear your eyeglasses and look again. Donald Duke isn't a tout. Someone like him can't start a defamatory war against someone like tinubu who knows and feeds many hungry lawyers and judges who can mob him at the slightest opportunity. Stop defending nonsense
Someone should tell this guy that politics isn't a family affair. Only old corrupt politicians do this for a reason known to many. How many children of Pa awo, pa jakande followed them to campaign grounds?
marlow1962: As long as you’re an enemy to the progress of this country, God go punish you, punish your generation. One man go thief money wer go reach better millions of ppl life, their am keep to em self and em family. God go punish em family, punish anybody wer dy associated with de family. And you as the citizen wer dy support evil wer dem dy do to dis country, God go punish you and your generation.
Check out Switzerland, the average citizen is driving a sport car, come nigeria, average man no even fit chop better food twice a day.
You just reminded me of Montreal and Geneve. Nice cities
lhordspy: We no dey give shi-shi, we no dey give shi shi They started from sharing branded Oil, metamorphosed to Rice , then branded Salt, now it is Obi-datti bread. The lady in the video was even bragging that they shared 1500 pieces of bread yesterday. Kai...smh
At this rate, i am afraid we will end up with branded satchet water and biscuit
How many supporters had obidients given money to attend rallies so far? Just asking.. that's the meaning of we no dey give shishi. Stop twisting our slogan. Mind you, obi had come to edo to campaign and gone. Nobody was given shishi before they locked down the entire state, unlike Emilokan and mikano always sharing money to people with rice moodle before attending their rallies. Many shops were forced to close yesterday in lagos to honour Emilokan at the campaign rally. Democracy isn't by force but by choice
KennethEnyi: I know he’s sad now but don’t worry the ritual money will make him feel better very soon as soon as it drops New rolls Royce loading….
May God forgive you guys. So, their son would be the first to die inside a pool? I thank God I survived same trauma in Benin Republic years ago during a friend's birthday. Maybe they'd have said my friend used me for ritual on the naija blogsites too.
Davido's family members are mutli billionaires so .its not ritual money that would entich them today. From late isiaka, to Davido’s dad and the current governor.
On Davido’s friends who died, he used them for rituals too? If you're diabetic and you always drink to stupor, against advice from drs and friends and the unexpected happen, who's fault? Coco master's son who died under same circumstance had turned dbanj billionaire too abi?
femtex007: So in a nutshell. You are rooting for obi? Hmm my broda. Obi is the worst among them all. He did nothing when he was the governor of anambra. doctors went on strike for 8 months. Lecturers own I can't remember but longer than doctors. You can check online. The man is not who u think he is Igbos just want to package him on us. Am a Yoruba guy based in the East. And as a contractor here. I knw all of them very well
I'm Nigerian and so, I can vote anyone I like based on my assessment and choice of candidates. In 1999, I voted falae, 2003, it was OBJ, in 2007, Yaradua, 2011 it was Jona, 2015, Buhari, 2019 atiku and come 2023, its obi.
I don't always like it when we make igbos feel they're not part of Nigeria. Why can't they produce president? Can you give me a reason? Peter Obi is far more competent than atiku. Tinubu may be seen as a good candidate but he's not my choice, unfortunately. He belongs to same party that has failed so woefully. I can't vote tinubu because I'm yoruba and if I do, then I'm tribalistic and not a good Nigerian. I'm Nigerian first before my tribe and religion and as you could see from my voting pattern, I voted across ethnic and religous lines. Tinubu is also a highly controversial man. Fashola or Osinbajo would have been better...maybe Nigerians would have reasoned differently despite the party's failure. Either of them would have been accented nationwide cos they're more popular among Nigerians and in all geopolitical zones than Tinubu. Obi wouldn't have been in the picture if either of the aforementioned was considered.
That said...not only am I also close to the south east, we have an office in Anambra and Imo States. Na only chieftaincy title dem neva give me there, to describe my closeness to them. People talked about strikes in hospitals and schools when obi came without finding out the reason for the strike. They didn't go on strike on the account of salary. Obi reformed the health and education sectors, removed some unproductive staff and collapsed some units and they protested. Obi said his decision was final so the strike lasted months. Eventually, they succumbed to his policy and things improved. For the first time in years, Anambra recorded the highest score in waec in Nigeria due to his reform. The University staff too got better remuneration, which they're forever grateful for. Till today, Anambra University doesn't go in strike due to what obi had put in place. The strike recently called off which lasted 8 months didn't affect them and its been like that for years. I knew the Anambra IGR before obi came and after he left. Even if ibos wanted to package a candidate, its not obi and nobody can fool me with any candidate at my age. Good luck to all the Contestants
Emefiele must be high on something. So, it's no more Aboki fx, BDCs, causing the free fall of naira again? Were students not paying fees abroad when fx was stable in Nigeria? Were people not travelling abroad? People even travelled more when fx was stable cos flights and fx rates were very stable, unlike now. This man has succeeded in destroying our economy by conniving with the current administration. I hope they'd not deploy the efcc to the airport to start searching luggage for dollar , since they're now the cause of naira free fall. Useless people
Tinubu said no be statistics we go chop cos he still believes in chop make I chop politics. No wonder Nigeria is this backward. Atiku too is toeing his path. Awon ojęlu, jęgudujęra ęda
descarado: Bros, you don't know rivers state. That was my hood when growing up. Not a fan of any of their politician but the truth is that they need those roads and more. Rivers state is not developed. Aside ph that is developed haphazardly. No master plan. They are farmers and they prefer farming. Low scale farming though. Rivers people are kinda entitled people. Empower them as much as you can, they will squander the money. Have you ever heard of Rivers billionaire except politicians? An industrialist? It's outsiders that invest there. That's how lazy those people are. Even with the huge presence of igbo in every corner trying to outdo one another, these people care less. Their men are the laziest in Nigeria. Their politicians know their people. Also, they love freebies. Its in Rivers that you will see a 28 yrs old man living with his mum in their grandpa house with girlfriend and doing nothing. Don't let me start. They don't even know how to do politics.
You are right. I'm also close to them, we used to go to shell at rumuomasi to work. Their people depend on daily money. The next thing is women and beer. See their stomach biiig
Na our people still dey do most of the work for them, up to the ministry level.
How many people has wike been able to pull out of poverty self. What are his achievements in youth empowerment in agriculture and techs? Building Roads is good but you need to also empower your people so poverty could be reduced. I'm not talking of the Buhari's 30k npower used in buying foodstuffs by beneficiaries.
