Israel offers money and flights out to all illegal non-jewish immigrants or holds them indefinitely in desert detention centres; especially those coming from from Africa. The reason why Israel has so many illegals staying put is because it is a signatory to the UNHCR and most of these illegals know to claim asylum upon entry into Israel. So they are detained at numerous detention centres like Saharonim prison or Holot detention centre. Saudi Arabia is not a signatory to the UNHCR. It does not accept asylum seekers or refugees under such status.

The US deported over 180k people in 2020. It has one of the worst deportation records of all countries. It is also surprising that you would mention the USA as an example of a country 'good' to immigrants.

Anyhow, you can hate Saudi Arabia all you want, I have no interest. Just don't distort facts. At least cite true reasons for why you hate them. I'm sure you can find plenty.

Deportation is not mistreatment. They are sending them back home. Those who live in other countries illegally and are still there have just not been caught yet. And no country is obliged to treat the Covid-19 patients from other countries who have illegally entered into their lands, especially when Covid-19 is not going anywhere anytime soon.

If you try to stay illegally anywhere, you will be treated this way. Israel is not an exception. The best way to relocate is to get the proper documentation required for your status. Nobody will disturb you then.

Intellectual such as Utomi and Sanusi are part of the problem , they are well educated and very eloquence in communication but they their motive has never been in the interest of Nigeria.

Only the threat of separation of country, will force the regional stakeholders to agree on an appropriate working model for the country.

Mr. man I lived in USA for five years on F1 status and later STEM OPT. I left USA after the first year of my stem OPT while working at delloite technology practice. I went to grad school at the ancient edinburgh uni then left to nigeria after two years to work in tech. Work and education took me to many countries in different continents. I'm not sure you are in a position to tell me what is good/better for me and many other Nigerians. It all depends on the perspective we see things from. Nairaland is not a platform for lowlives its a platform for all and I have learnt so much from contributors here over the years. You come here and call me an idiot and all sort of names because I don't hate Nigeria like you do. If you hate Nigeria don't pour out your frustration on others as I'm not the cause of the disappointments you've had with the country. Endsars has come and gone. Sad some people had to die. Kudos to Premiumtimes for at least making a remembrance of these people. If there is any lesson that should be learnt is this. "Obey a curfew" "Obey law and Order'. When a government says depart, depart. If nobody obeys the government anymore, then we have a failed state. You have seen it in the almighty USA when anarchists invaded the capitol city, they were told to leave. Few who did not want to leave were shot dead including a woman. Hope we all are learning.
